slivertongue:He does not need to be a hero to tell you the truth. You are clamouring and agitating that you want to have your own country called Biafra, the guy said go and do that on your land. He even gave enough window to pack your things so you can relocate. What is your problem? You IPODs are developing cold feet? The enormity of your agitation is now dawning on you? Let the truth be known, you cannot declare Biafra and still be a part of Nigeria. It will be a clean break. You should understand that you cannot eat your cake and have it. You IPOD guys need to wake up. Agitating to break away is more that writing on a social media. And, I can bet you, with volume hatred that has been pumped into the polity, there is no chance of a peaceful break-away. |
vanbonattel:y You IPODs do not know what you want and can never be taken seriously. You say you out of Nigeria, no problem, then pack you things from the North and the West West and relocate to your land. A simply threat of 3 months quit notice by Arewa youths, all your elders are running helther and sclether to align with Nigeria. Don't ever think you can use this your childish agitation to score political points that you lost by massively backing GEJ in his failed reelection attempt during the last election. If you are serious, pack you things and leave for Biafra. We (the Afonjas) will allow you free and peaceful passage. |
The Ibos want Biafra The North wants Ibo's exit The Yorubas want Ibo's exit The Ibos are saying "we have investments in your areas and cannot leave them" And the fight is being cooked. Amongst all these, the President is in London Governors are sharing bailout funds Workers salaries are not paid Government officials have their children schooling abroad Ministers and senators are looting The poor Hausa man is riding Okada The poor Ibo man is riding Okada The poor Yoruba man is riding Okada The poor Hausa man sleeps under the bridge as Alamajiri The poor Yoruba man sleeps under the bridge as Alaye The poor Ibo man sleeps under the bridge as agbero It is pertinent to note that the poor from all ethnic groups in Nigeria have everything in common and so is the rich. Do not allow the agitation of an Ibo man who lives in UK or USA for Biafra cause the killing of the Ibo man in Adamawa. The rich hate us that much. Do not allow the Alhaji whose children are living abroad to persuade you to go and start killing on the street of Kaduna. The problem in the country is not the agitation of any ethnic group but the unity of the elite and the disunity of the masses. How many times have you taken your agitation to question your local government Chairmen? Why have you not asked your Governors through agitation how they spent bailout fund? Why have you not agitated against that government official whose mansions you go to beg for help? Sad to note; All the Governors love themselves All the past Presidents love themselves All the senators love themselves All the top government officials love themselves All the looters love themselves Why can't you and I love ourselves? Why can't we combine efforts and fight them? Why do we fight ourselves? Why do we allow them the freedom we don't have? Remember; a good Nigeria is better than a good Arewa, Oduduwa or Biafra. Happy June 12 celebrations . #Copied |
"I don't think you guys know what you are playing with. You can call each other names and laugh about it now but when you end up inciting hate here as I read through your posts here and a real civil war starts in your country you will regret what you are doing now. Your religious and political leaders are trying to divide you between religious lines and you are helping them do that rather than standing up and say we are all Nigerians never mind our tribe, region or religion. That's the only stand that will save your blessed nation. The foreign powers pushing the government to take certain decisions will abandon you when you start killing one another and reject you from running to their countries so be careful. Our 11 year war in Sierra Leone was not even based on religious or tribal difference and see what we did to our country. The worst conflicts are those based on tribal and religious differences. See Central Africa, Bosnia, South Sudan and Rwanda. To have a better knowledge of this, please watch the documentary/movie called _"Hotel Rwanda"_ or _"Sometime in April"._ My heart bleeds when I read what you guys are saying because I know what this will lead to. _*You will be the losers all of you whether Christian, Muslim, igbo, yoruba or hausa.*_ Stand as one and save your nation together because you have only one Nigeria that has the potential to lead Africa." _PLEASE HELP SAVE NIGERIA AND SHARE THIS WITH AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE._ Kindly forward to your contacts until it gets to every Nigerian. God bless you!!! |
ramdris:Thank you so much for bringing the truth home. God bless you. The question I always ask did any Dino's children or family died? No usual answer is no. Wasted lives of stupid fools. |
ChubbychummyICE:I can only say I pity you because it is either you have blinded yourself with hatred of truth or you don't know Fayose. Like earlier said, 2018 is fast approaching, we shall see Fayose evolve. If you are an IPOD supporting the secession of Biafra, then I pity you the more because though you may not have witnessed what happened during the civil war, you fail to read and learn from it. |
Ehiscotch:Fayose did not and can not state the obvious - he is just playing game of political relevance and self preservation. If anything all he is one of the fools that is not proactive and sowing the seed of discord that is resulting in what is happening now. He as a governor should have known better when he was praising Kanu as a freedom fighter and visiting him in Prison and attending court sessions. I would be surprised if he is not charged with Treasonable Felony after he completes his governorship in 2018. Like I earlier stated in one my post, Fayose will support anything that is anti-Buhari government, not because of believe but of self preservation and political relevance. We will soon be hearing a changed Fayose by the time we get to 2018. I can even predict that he will attempt to join APC. He will be rejected though. |
letsbepieces:You guys are playing with fire. What about the Igbos in the west? Do you think they will be allowed to stay? Stop fooling yourselves. |
Flashmove:You do not know what freedom is, so you can appreciate what you have. If you do, you will not beating the drums of war and hatred. |
Aufbauh:I warned on Nairaland that those trumpeting secession from Nigeria don't know the implication of secession or war. A number of people wrote nasty responses to my warning. Labelling me as a coward Afonja supporting the Hausas. This is just the beginning. Let the IPODs continue their agitations, we will soon see what will happen in West and Niger Delta. It is unfortunate, we have a lot of jobless and brainless people who cannot see how deeply interwoven we have become since the last civil war. I have friends both males and females who have married across the rivers and many have the life investment resident across the divide. What will happen to those? Lets stop the nonsense and the hate on social media before it is too too late. The way we are going social media plus the way we are interwoven, there is no possibility of and there will be NO peaceful secession. |
dominique:He is going to send the new wife packing the same way he did the first wife when another side-chick 6.0 will want to be upgraded. Side-chicks never learn !!!!. The Yorubas say "Pasan ti won fi na iyale wa oke aja fun iyawo", this literarily translate into "na turn by turn". In not too long a time, we will hear the story. See the story of Mercy Aigbe now. |
ABIOLAXYZ:Which result changed overnight? Who announced the earlier result? Social media or INEC? Use your brain, God gave you the brain for thinking. |
NgeneUkwenu:Thank you my brother. Really, who sought his opinion? He is just trying to be relevant. |
Mendelssohn:Have you ever for once ask yourself what the job of our President is. Is it anything different from "coordinating the affairs of our nation" Joblessness have made most people forget the use their brain, thus they make "mole-hills out of nothing and make mountains out of the mole-hills". The constitution of the country is very clear on this subject - in the absence of the President, the Vice-President act as President. So what are your issues? Are you living in another planet? |
Qmerit:Thank you my dear brother. They are all crying because they and their properties are been watched and they cannot go and move the money they have stacked in their various houses. This is era of whistle-blowing by the Looters. God bless Magu. God bless, heal and strengthen PMB. God bless Nigeria. |
9jayes:I believe she is completely mad or she is on some form of narcotics. What is "Magun" for? Why is the worst thing you can be called is an "Omo ale"? |
Icecomrade:Whether Senate confirm or not is their business. Magu is in the business catching your sponsors that stole our commonwealth. So keep waiting and holding to the Senathieves approval, see if it will save your sponsors. |
winetapper:FKK and Fayose are not one bit interested Kanu and his aspirations for a free Biafra, He should know better they just using him as a political pun to fight the present government. The worst part is they are so corrupt that very soon they corrupt is aspirations too. |
ndcide:It is amazing that you find Wike more believable with the fact on ground on the amount of stealing that took place with PEJ in power. Remember Wike was one of the key ministers in that government. Let us just for once stop looking at things from the coloration of political parties. I do not like PDP neither do I like APC. 50% of political jobbers in APC were in PDP before. The big but is those left in PDP did a heavy damage to our very existence by the level of indiscriminate looting that happened between late 2014 and early 2015 in the name of funding PEJ presidential campaign. So my take is even if we as a people cannot recoup all our stolen wealth, at least let us get back the littles ones they stole without covering the tracks. I tell you, 2014/2015 looting so we're done with abundant stupidity. Those doing the stealing never believed they will lose the Presidency, so that was no attempt to cover their tracks. I can categorically tell you that about 70% of Nigerian Civil Servants from Directors levels upwards and about 98% of Nigerian Politicians are thieves. So stop supporting any of them. I support anybody who can bring about recouping of our stolen commonwealth. |
hisgrace090:Thank you my brother. He knew what he kept in that house, he is making noise now so that the judge will refuse the search warrant. If not, why not send over fifty people to stay in the house to prevent anybody from planting anything, then allow the search while everything is recorded on tape. Wike is a crook, he is just making noise to preempt the findings. |
Limitednow:Seriously, I do not understand how people can make assertions that PEJ was betrayed by the north. Niger Delta where Jonathan is from voted massively for Jonthan, North where Buhari is from voted massively for Buhari. So where and what is betrayal in this situation? Are we saying North do not have the right to vote for their own just like Niger Delta did? If anybody should have any complain, it should be about the West. But the truth is, the West is too elictic and well informed, so they saw and knew what was going on PEJ corrupt government and they did not like what they were seeing. Jonathan and his team knew he was going to lose the West, that was why he postponed the election and spent 90% of his time after the postponement in Lagos doling out dollars to every Tom, Dick and Harry that is famous and has Yoruba name. You remember the Obas praying for him, the Performing Artists led Toyin Aimaku, visit to Bishop 'Oledepo' church. He dollarized The West within that short period believing he can buy the support of the Yorubas. He failed there for 2 reasons, FKK and Channel News. FKK - Yorubas will never buy anything FKK is selling, even if the product is Jesus Christ, once it is from FKK, Yorubas will not buy. Within the hearth of hearths, we see FKK as a certified Bastard and a thief. We see him as Omo Ale jatijati who will talk anything and sing any tune once you give him money. Channels News - This station did a fantastic job in exposing the rot in PEJ and his government. The Channel sustained this job throughout the election process. PEJ depended on AIT and pumped billions to Dopeksi. Dopeksi is a thief who was owing his workers months of salary. So they a bad job of projecting PEJ. So in the long run, it was the exposure of PEJ corrupt leadership that lost him the West which eventually cost him the Presidency - it has nothing to do with North. |
AceRoyal:Continue playing Ostrich like I earlier said, time will tell who is gullible. |
dukie25:I do not understand when you say APC has been hijacked. Do you expect the party to remain stagnant and be continually controlled by one person? I am apolitical, I cannot help but respond when I read comments from people who sacrificed their thinking faculty at the altar of political parties. |
AceRoyal:You do not have any problem, keep enjoying Telemundu even add z-world to it. Go on keep on playing the ostrich. You are entitled to your disbelief because you thinking faculty has been damaged by lack of proper intellectual nourishment resulting from improper education caused by ill funded schools due stolen education development funds by corrupt politicians that your indirectly supporting. It is a vicious circle my brother. |
SoberDisciple:It is complete shame and the very height of ignorance for PEJ to infer that Obama was making wild allegation of corruption against his government. Sebi Jonathan himself said on CNN that "if there is corruption, America will know". The findings of nowadays iare even telling us we just scratching the surface in terms of investigation of mammoth stealing that happened under his stewardship. Is Jonathan claiming he was and still is the only person in the world that did not see the level of corruption in his government? He is fooling himself. He is coming up with all this bullshit to whip up sentiment because the heat and attention is now gradually getting to him - the international investigation of Malabu deal and local investigation of Ikoyi $43m. Oga Jona, the hen is coming home to roost. |
Doghari:No wahala. We will do as we wish. We wish you the best of luck. |
Doghari:You are entitled to agitate and seek self rule by breaking away from Nigeria. It is your aspiration, it is your war. Only do not expect Yorubas to share your aspirations and join your wars. Also do not expect Yorubas to protect your interest and investment if you decide to break away from Nigeria. |
Nwakaumu:As said at the very beginning, it is your aspiration, it is your war. No Yoruba will stop you. The big BUT is don't expect Yorubas to join your war and it is not mandatory for Yorubas to share your aspirations and support it. It is also not mandatory for Yorubas to protect your interest and investments if you chose to break away from Nigeria. That is the stack reality I am painting for you. Like I earlier said also, be mindful of what you ask for. Nigeria is not South Africa that was fighting for emancipation from apartheid. You Igbos are agitating for freedom from Nigeria, you rightly entitled to that, but do not expect or think you can force other Tribes like the Ijaws and the Efiks to join you. Please note all your sacarsms, abuses and insults do not matter a bit to me. They only show how shallow minded you are and your low level intelligency - people like you cannot handle simple exchange of disagreeing opinions on social platform without resulting to insults and abuses. |
Igboesika:Stop kidding yourself, face reality. Igbos will lose out badly if there is a breakup of Nigeria now. You can quote me, the Ijaws will never join Biafra. You will lose out badly in Lagos, Abuja and Portharcourt. I am not so conversant with north, so I do not know how establish Igbos are in Kano, Kaduna, but I am sure you will lose badly there too. So be careful and mindful of what you are asking for. |
Nwakaumu:Like I earlier said, be mindful and be careful of what you ask for. I mentioned Idi-Araba and Ikoyi so it will bring it your forefront. If it will please you, the same happened in Portharcourt township. My father lost his house in Portharcourt town like many Yorubas and Igbos to the same civil war. When I got a job with NLNG, He took me to the house and warned me never to build properties in Portharcourt. You do not know the implication of breaking away. You can seat in cozy comfortable room and be talking on social media about breaking away from Nigeria. I am just warning you of the realities of what you are asking for. I worked 18 years with NLNG but because of my fathers warning, I refused to buy any property in PHC. Many of friends in Shell, Chevron, etc, have sold off their properties in PHC and relocated the families to the west or abroad. What am I telling you, we are better prepared for breakup than you Igbos are. You can lash out at we Yourubas all you like and all you want. Face reality - Igbos are not ready for break-up. Ask yourself how many rich Yorubas or rich Hausa/Fulanis have heavy investments in the east? Ask the same question of your rich Igbos. And ask how many of your rich and elites Igbo are supporting the Biafran aspiration. Face reality. |
Igboesika:Like I earlier said, you Igbos did not learn anything from the civil war. When there is a break away, it is always "to your tent, o ye Israel". You will be so persecuted that you will have no choice than to pack all you can take along with you and relocate to Biafra. Ask old enough Igbo people that were in Lagos pre civil war. Maybe you are too young to understand the impact and really of breaking off from Nigeria. I know for a fact that almost the whole properties in the then Idi-Araba in Lagos belonged to Igbos, Ojukwu's father like some other rich Igbo men owned estates in Ikoyi. These properties were never returned to the pre-war owners. So be careful and be mindful of what you ask for. |
successmatters:There is nobody in the southwest that is blocking IPOB? But that is not to say we are going to fight alongside IPOB for them to achieve their aspirations. It is your aspiration, it is your fight. We, Yorubas will not fight your battles for you. We will fight our own battle when we are good and ready. Sincerely if you ask me, I will say the Igbos did not learn anything from the civil war and you are not ready to be a nation. When you convinced all your tribesmen building mansions in Lagos and Abuja and convince the Ijaws to join your fight, then you will be ready to stand as a nation. Anything short of that, you are just fooling yourselves. As we use to say back in school, it is OYO - on your own. |
