REVEALED: Jonathan Presidency Begged Buhari To Settle Abati “Ungovernable” Slander Libel Suit Out of CourtLike837ShareAug. 4, 2014NewsRescue- Very few Nigerians know that it was a single evil mastermind, Jonathan’s media man,Reuben Abati that concocted the deadly slanderous accusation against the person of ex-head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari, that claimed he made statements of making “Nigeria ungovernable,” in the event he lost the 2011 presidential elections. Abati cooked up the viral lies in a Guardian publication captioned “For the attention of General Buhari”publishedin April of 2011.Related:NewsRescue-EXPOSED: ItWas PDP That Promised To Make Nigeria Ungovernable in 2011, Buhari Never Did!Buhari took him to court and as can be read below, under begging from the Presidency, Buhari agreed to settle out-of-court and Abati and theGuardian he used to be managing editor for published a public apologyto Buhari on 11th July 2013. But truth never spread like the slander; and despite the presidency begging Buhari, the other than Abati, all the other media ‘dogs’ of the presidency continued promoting the same slander. Rather shocking to realize this.NewsRescuehas opened a$1000 challenge for whoever can provide where Buhari ever said anything about making Nigeria ungovernable in 2011, just to dig outthe truth once and for all; because this will be very unfair to the person of Buhari that we continue to peddle this evil slander. An article we missed that was in all major dailies:Presidency begs Buhari to settle slander case out of courtBy Comrade Godwin Ameh;DailyPost on January 13, 2013The presidency has begged former Head of States and national leader of Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) to settle out of court the libel suit he filed against the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati. It would be recalled that Abati had on page 51 of the April 22, 2011, edition of The Guardian newspaper, written an article entitled “For the attention of General Buhari,” where he claimed that Buhari made an unguarded statement which stirred the post-election violence that almost tore the nation apart. The former Military General however, regarded the publication aslibellous, aimed at denting his hard earned name and image.Buhari consequently dragged Abati and The Guardian Newspapers to court via suit no. ID/837/2011, demanding N1billion damages from them. However, in a copy of the Terms of Settlement filed before a Lagos High Court in Ikeja, the ‘warring’ parties have agreed to settle the matter out of court.According to the terms of settlement, dated December 2012 and filed before the administrative judge of Lagos State, Justice Opeyemi Oke, the claimant (Buhari), Mr. Tope Adebayo ( lawyer to Buhari), Abati and Mr. Kunle Sanyaolu (lawyer to The Guardian) signed the terms of settlement. But the lawyer to the firstdefendant (Abati), Dame Carol Ajie, refused to sign the document. The refusal may not be unconnected to the conditions and terms of the agreement. It was gathered that the parties further agreed that Abati and The Guardian should retract and apologise to Buhari in certain form and contents. The terms of settlement reads in part: “The claimant (Buhari) and defendants (Abati and The Guardian) have agreed that the defendants should publish a retraction and an apology to the claimant on the Opinion Page of the newspaper, to be printed in reverse line black (RLB) within seven days ofentering the Consent Terms as the judgment of the court in two editionsof The Guardian.“The claimant and defendants have agreed and resolved that the retraction and apology shall take thefollowing form and contents: ‘Re: Forthe attention of General Buhari’- On April 22, 2011, The Guardian Newspaper published an article on Page 51 titled ‘For the attention of General Buhari’ where certain allegations were made against General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), GCFR, concerning the 2011 election and General Buhari’s alleged role in the violence emanating from the elections.“The publication was based on information which we believed to be reliable at that time. Period... His allegiance to Nigeria is in doubts. Thus he is no more fit to perform national duties since the same regional bug that bit Buhari when he was PTF chairman has bitten him. Bug that made Buhari execute over 80% of PTF project in the North.

Same bug that made him cancel Lagos metro line when he was a dictator has bitten Jega. Otherwise how do we explain the disparity nature of PVC distribution in the north and southern part of Nigeria? #jegamustgo
it is GEJ allegiance to Nigeria that is highly questionable , he should not just play God cos Arab spring will too small to what he would face if the clueless one tries to remove Jega.

I wanna believe that u are enlightened ryt? We should discuss it here for folks to learn? Why is the Rosicrucian Order not thrown on the streets for anyone to dabble in and obtain knowledge? My friend, knowledge isn't completely free nor gotten in a platter of gold. Don't encourage spiritual indolence rather, encourage people to bestir themselves and seek personally.
Every record of events from the beginning of Creation till date is intact. TIME lost nothing! Travel into TIME and obtain any, I mean any knowledge or history that u so desire.
Am sure you are having ur own personal experiences and not depending on others' thought out opinions? What blesses one may harm another. Hope u know that? There's one statement of ur Order I luv so much. "The journey into self!"

I'm not affiliated to any religion ok! Yes Jesus spent much of His earth life in Egypt, the whole history of event is well kept and I will tell you that the real father of Jesus isn't whom Christianity proclaims. If you'd read my previous comment very clearly, I will still tell you that neither the Rosicrucian Order nor Freemasonry as they both claim gave Christ what He offered to humanity! What are all this claims for? Christianity has succeeded painting a whole false picture of Him, accusing Him of violating the Laws of God through arbitrary actions which they call miracles which Christ Could not have done nor did He do it. Why is so much attention paid to His personality instead of His mission? The Truth is already staring mercilessly at all earthmen and I am sure that after the currently ongoing world event, the bandage will soon fall from everyone's eyes.
"the whole history is well kept" by who n what persons n organizations? Let us discuss them so that folks can learn. it is a challenge please.

I am forced to disagree with u at some points. Jesus was not given to humanity on earth by any earthly organisations! Forget all the claims. It is also wrong to view Him as human being because He took up the gross material cloak upon Himself in order to bring enlightenment to erring mankind who were lost in their self created Darkness. If u are truly enlightened u should know the origin of man and that of Jesus, and the great difference which lie in both Species and Consistency. The coming of Jesus was a process of Radiation from the Height of Divine Unsubstantiality. In otherwords, Jesus while on earth bore Divinity which no man can make claims of except he chooses to delude himself. Man only bears a spark of the Spirit and issued from Spiritual Substantiality. In accordance with the Laws, anyone coming into the World of Matter irrespective of his origin must have a bandage placed on his eyes until at a certain age of maturity where he or she may remove the bandage at will or choice through inner stirring. This process was no difference with Jesus! With the baptism of John, the bandage fell. With the temptation of the so called Satan, His mission was firmly anchored in the World of Matter. He may have been associated with any earthly organisation before His full consciousness of His mission but that doesn't mean the organisation gave Him what He then offered to humanity. He Himself was and remains what He gave to humanity although all have been distorted and misinterpreted. With the expression "Word Incarnate" any human spirit should sense or perceive His Personality and what He stood and still stands for. Neither did He take away or condemned the Truth in all already existed organisations. He was and remains the Truth Him and came solely to give us Himself in the Word. Not to get Himself killed as Christians assert.
Do you really know Jesus, his history, his pa n his afilliations, do you know? When the little Jesus was taken to Egypt ,when did he come back? why was so many gaps in the history of the most important personality in Christianity? and so many you can never answer . such information are well kept by those know him before birth and not biased religious sentiments that seem to appropriate n diminish Jesus the Christ.

The All Progressive Congress have always said that Goodluck Jonathan does not have the insight and capability to secure Nigerians from boko haram. That it is only the APC presidential candidate, Mohammadu

Buhari that can squarely end the insecurity challenges.

Now they are saying Pres. Jonathan should listen to ceasefire, they want boko haram to gain time and regroup, their plan won't work"

So far, Boko haram has lost almost all their camps in Bornu, Yobe and Adamawa, they are now distributing flyers in Potiskum Yobe, Adamawa State asking for ceasefire as they flee for safety.

Should federal government now listen to the call by APC spokesman Lai Mohammed to a ceasefire deal which he said that Federal government should use this time to dialogue with the insurgence group.?

Are these not the same men castigating the army and federal government that they are incompetent and that the army can not flush these barbarians out of our land?

It's clear to see a person or group ideology or interest when they start showing sympathy for what they love. Apc have even started insinuating that Federal government is holding a fake SHEKAU to indict their presidential candidate.

How would Apc know the fake if they don't know the original? after all, Chief Femi Fani Kayode said in his last interview on channels TV that boko haram nominated buhari as their spokesman in 2012, this really speaks volume of who we are dealing with.

Nigerians be wise, APC is full of lies, deceit and propaganda. They mean no good for Nigeria.
