PoliticsRe: I Trust Buhari But I Doubt His Environment: Bakare by Babacele: 4:53am On Mar 18, 2015
'Bakare?' So he would have trusted the 'environment 'if he had emerged the VP? It is quite obvious that while others made serious sacrifices to make the alliance worked in 2011 , 'Bakare 'was so full of himself n myopic to recognize the contributions of others n the need to give especially when such actors had given so much for CPC n the ACN - CPC merger. one is forced to ask what is 'Bakare's' mission by coming out now of all time to criticize the Buhari option? Does he want us to remain with the status quo of " stealing is not corruption"? Of course it is becoming obvious that 'Bakare' is part of the clique that wants an interim government . why? Well ,somebody tell 'Bakare' to come off it cos there is nothing like pretending to sitting on the fence and making insinuations that are clearly pro PDP and anti people. it either he is for God or Mammon. So is he saying that we other Nigerians dont have the right to vote for Buhari while he can stick to his GEJ n everything he represents? Mr Pastor or whether na preacher be your name,it is becoming clear we n you no be same category!

there are better ways he could have done things,he is becoming more and more intoxicated with his grip.
Tinubu is too refined and patient to have tolerarated these rogues. E.g if it were PDP that were as powerful as Tinubu in d southwest post 2003, they would have bought guns for boys rather than going to law courts to establish the PDP electoral frauds. that has helped our Judiciary n entrenched democracy. just imagine if people don't have a means or channels of addressing these pains? The propaganda PDP has been promoting against Jagaban for over a decade now are not true but mere propaganda by a bunch of rogues who are not comfortable with their nemesis. Tinubu has been so consistent despite the juicy overtures from PDP to Jagaban to join them. He chose the Nigerian people and stayed with us when it was not fashionable to do so. A one man army who alway put the best foot n man forward. He didn't and hasn't betrayed us, then why won't I die with him with my eyes closed. God himself brought this imperfect archangel to guard our democracy, nothing can take away my gaze from the picture, not even a century of propaganda, ethnicity, nor religion.

I agree but making it clear that those documentaries were sponsored and reveling the sponsors would have shield him from various litigation, the documentary is full of loopholes half truth and lies, that's fallacy,am not a fan of Tinubu either I think his grip on power in Lagos is too much but I respect his game play in politics.
Tinubu grip on Lagos is to prevent PDP hawks from hijacking the resources they once destroyed. It would have been suicidal n hope lost by Nigerians if PDP had hijacked Lagos: today it would have been so difficult if not impossible to have a rallying point to challenge the gang of rogues who have held Nigeria down. Like Jack Bauer in 24hrs, his hijacking a passers by vehicle to pursue criminals even if they are President Charles Logan GEJ, is for the common good. I swear Tinubu is the best thing that has happened to Nigeria. He is a god!

For once, make use of your brains and do not let someone think for you. Do the thinking and write for yourself something constructive.

Never surrender your conscience to the theory of a majority...
You forced me to check your profile too n discovered that though you appear bright but there is no depth - a sign of intelligence. Rather It is you who have been enslaved by the manipulation of others. E .g in your response to seun's post on Buhari's millitary background , you made several unfounded lies because people say n repeat them. One of which is that Buhari said he would make d country ungovernable. For your education, Buhari never said anything like that but d PDP actually did n were the one trying to pin d lie on GMB. GMB took Abati to court when he went too far n d presidency had to beg Buhari to settle out of court. Even Guardian apologised to GMB over that. But you posted lies in your response to Seun. on Boko haram, tell me why is the president protecting Alimodu sherif? I'm waiting o.

Am sure you read me right. For clarity sake, i will say this again. 1. Recruitment is easy for BH considering it feeds on Ideology(of Jihad).
2. BH is not as a result of POVERTY. If it is, adbul mutallab wont try to blow himself and the detriot bound plane up.
3. That America have an explanation to make on why terrorism has "spiral out of hand".
4. That Obama's policies is fuelling terrorism worldwide. The case of the 3 teenage girls that travelled from US through Turkey to Syria to join ISIL is an example. What about the 'chief executioner' of ISIL-- "Jihadi John"?
5. That NA should be encouraged than being criticized.
6. That NA citation of BH casualty figures is not an OVERSTATEMENT afterall considering cameroon revelation.
So, that sum it up.
All these can only thrive under a clueless government, hence we want change. For six years GEJ with higher number of military personel couldn't do nothing. military budget are stolen n nobody gets punished for it. On many occasions, Army heads lie to the nation only for us to discover their untruths later. low rank officers kept complaining about I'll treatment from the authorities n sabotage too. Just few hours ago ,US Army revealed how the Nigerian Army leaked the secret of d operation to rescue the chibok girl s to book haram! Hence their pulling out of rescue deal! The truth is ,we don't trust this government! We want change!

How Jonathan, IBB, Are Plotting Interim Govt Instead Of Presidential PollsDavid Mark, Gusau, Abdusalami, are the top contenders to head the Interim Government. Former Lagos Governor Tinubu rejects offer of Interim Government Vice-Presidencyby Empowered Newswire, New YorkMar 03, 2015President Goodluck JonathanMore details are emerging on the plot to install an undemocratic Interim National Government (ING) and pre-empt Nigeria’s presidential election scheduled for later this month.Informed sources disclosedover the weekend that a key element in the plot is the need to forestall a Buhari presidency, for which reason the schemers of the plot have tried to woo the former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, now a chieftain of the opposing All Progressives Congress (APC) with the offer of beingthe Vice President in the interim structure.Even though there are now major obstacles to the plan, it is yet unclear if the schemers have completely set the idea aside. If Tinubu accepts, then he will be expected to rally the South-West, while IBB would rally the North, and Jonathan the South-East and South-South to accept the idea of an interim administration. They will use the excuse that the present times are not good to hold elections in the country, especially becauseof what David Mark had already called a state of warwith Boko Haram. But it was Tinubu’s rejection of any form of compromise that now appears to be the greatest obstacle to the ING plot. Sources say this explains the recent outburst of Femi Fani-Kayode, the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign spokesperson alleging that the former Lagos State Governor intends to take over presidential power after the generally-awaited victory of the Buhari-Osinbajo campaign at the polls.Fani-Kayode wildly alleged that Tinubu has entered intoan oath to compel Osinbajo to relinquish the office of VP to him after the election, an allegation and scenario that watchers of the Nigerian polity simply dismiss as both untenable and unrealistic.Investigations spanning over one week by Empowered Newswire on the interim government plot revealed that the two major schemers in the plot are thePresident himself, Dr. Jonathan, and former Military president Ibrahim Babangida.IBB, as he is popularly known, has told close aides that he would have to leave Nigeria the day Buhari is declared winner of the presidential election, a prospect he is working hardto avoid by all means. Jonathan is also said to be under intense pressure to negotiate a soft landing for from power since handing over to Buhari would likely expose the intense corruption that he and the Petroleum Minister Diezani Maduekwe, among others, have perpetrated. In fact the oil minister is said to be one of the hardest protagonists of a soft landing for the Jonathan presidency, mortally afraid of what a Buhari-Osinbajo ascendancy could mean for her.Knowledgeable EmpoweredNewswire sources confirm that IBB held two meetings with Tinubu to discuss the issue of the Interim NationalGovernment. The first was held in Lagos before the Council of State meeting theweek before the February 14elections were postponed. The second took place in Abuja home of IBB’s son on the night of the said Councilof State meeting. The sources said that for the first meeting, IBB told Tinubu he had a wedding in Lagos and would like to usethat opportunity to greet theformer Lagos State Governor. Arriving with his son, he told Tinubu about the need to proceed with an interim government and forget about the election. Tinubu, who was shocked at the proposition, reportedly told IBB to forget the idea. But on the night after the Council of State meeting in Abuja which considered thesubject of the readiness of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct the election, IBB again invited Tinubu to his son’s house in Abuja. At that meeting, former Head of State General Abdusalami was also present, and to the utter shock and annoyance of the former Lagos State Governor, President Jonathan showed up in a two-car convoy in the thick of the night. It was at that meeting that IBB and Jonathan promised Tinubu the slot of the Vice President in the Interim government. The sources say Tinubu promptly repeated his rejection of theidea, insisting that the elections are the best and only viable option to chooseNigeria’s next president andvice president. The interim government plan includes the cancellation of the elections and the imposition of a well-known Northerner as the head of the administration, with Tinubu as VP. The interim government will be put in place for two years, following which new elections would be conducted, with the definiteexclusion of Buhari.Another source revealed to Empowered Newswire that some of the names that have been mentioned as possible heads of the interim government include David Mark, the president ofthe Senate; General Aliyu Gusau, the current Defence Minister who has always wished to be president “even if for a day”; and Abdusalami Abubakar, also a former head of state. All three are known allies of IBB. But the name of formerpresident Olusegun Obasanjo was also thrown into the picture when a formal statement from the presidency signed by Dr. Ruben Abati said Obasanjo himself wanted to be head of the Interim govt.Observers say that formal statement by the president’s spokesperson is the best confirmation thatindeed interim governmentG plot is real. Said one source, “If the presidency is saying they know that Obasanjo wanted to be the head of the Interimgovernment, that means thepresidency is not only aware of such plans, but is also involved in such a plot.”There had been previous attempts including monetary and other juicy offers to get Tinubu to prevent the emergence of Buhari in the primaries, and after that, to have Tinubu dump Buhari and enter into a deal with Jonathan to frustrate the potential emergence of Buhari as winner of the presidential polls.Sources believe that the recent wild allegation from the Jonathan camp that Tinubu was planning to force Osinbajo to relinquishthe office of VP after being sworn-in is merely an outcome of the frustration generated first by Tinubu’s insistence that the elections must go on; his rejection of the offer from Jonathan to be VP of an Interim government for two years; and finally his insistence never to dump Buhari. It is believed that Prof Osinbajo, Buhari’s running mate, has actually never been asked to sign any undertaking or oath of any kind and that he accepted the party and Buhari’s offer to be VP unconditionally. Both he and the APC also over the weekend formally denied any such arrangements. In the absence of a key figure in the South-West to support and sell the idea of an Interim government, sources said options left onthe table is to ensure the elections are “decently rigged” in favor of Jonathan or a crisis precipitated that will lead to Jonathan handing over power to David Mark as the Senate President, as was the case in the First Republic when power devolved to Senator Nwafor Orizu in the absenceof the then President Nnamdi Azikiwe. In that scenario, in 1966, the elected civilian leaders had to voluntarily hand over power to the military.Speculations, backed by a comment by the Supervising Minister of Information Edem Duke, are rife that the INEC chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, may be asked to proceed onterminal leave sometime this month in line with civil service rules. This option, sources say, would boost the plan to “decently rig the election” in the incumbent president’s favor. But several legal opinions have been articulated that not only will such a move bythe federal government to remove Jega be unconstitutional, it would also rubbish the credibility of the entire electoral process and will result in a definite tailspin into national and international crisis.Interested in Advertising?Sponsored AdEmpowered Newswire, New York#NigeriaDecidesCorruptionPoliticsNewsYou may also like

REVEALED: Jonathan Presidency Begged Buhari To Settle Abati “Ungovernable” Slander Libel Suit Out of CourtLike837ShareAug. 4, 2014NewsRescue- Very few Nigerians know that it was a single evil mastermind, Jonathan’s media man,Reuben Abati that concocted the deadly slanderous accusation against the person of ex-head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari, that claimed he made statements of making “Nigeria ungovernable,” in the event he lost the 2011 presidential elections. Abati cooked up the viral lies in a Guardian publication captioned “For the attention of General Buhari”publishedin April of 2011.Related:NewsRescue-EXPOSED: ItWas PDP That Promised To Make Nigeria Ungovernable in 2011, Buhari Never Did!Buhari took him to court and as can be read below, under begging from the Presidency, Buhari agreed to settle out-of-court and Abati and theGuardian he used to be managing editor for published a public apologyto Buhari on 11th July 2013. But truth never spread like the slander; and despite the presidency begging Buhari, the other than Abati, all the other media ‘dogs’ of the presidency continued promoting the same slander. Rather shocking to realize this.NewsRescuehas opened a$1000 challenge for whoever can provide where Buhari ever said anything about making Nigeria ungovernable in 2011, just to dig outthe truth once and for all; because this will be very unfair to the person of Buhari that we continue to peddle this evil slander. An article we missed that was in all major dailies:Presidency begs Buhari to settle slander case out of courtBy Comrade Godwin Ameh;DailyPost on January 13, 2013The presidency has begged former Head of States and national leader of Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) to settle out of court the libel suit he filed against the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati. It would be recalled that Abati had on page 51 of the April 22, 2011, edition of The Guardian newspaper, written an article entitled “For the attention of General Buhari,” where he claimed that Buhari made an unguarded statement which stirred the post-election violence that almost tore the nation apart. The former Military General however, regarded the publication aslibellous, aimed at denting his hard earned name and image.Buhari consequently dragged Abati and The Guardian Newspapers to court via suit no. ID/837/2011, demanding N1billion damages from them. However, in a copy of the Terms of Settlement filed before a Lagos High Court in Ikeja, the ‘warring’ parties have agreed to settle the matter out of court.According to the terms of settlement, dated December 2012 and filed before the administrative judge of Lagos State, Justice Opeyemi Oke, the claimant (Buhari), Mr. Tope Adebayo ( lawyer to Buhari), Abati and Mr. Kunle Sanyaolu (lawyer to The Guardian) signed the terms of settlement. But the lawyer to the firstdefendant (Abati), Dame Carol Ajie, refused to sign the document. The refusal may not be unconnected to the conditions and terms of the agreement. It was gathered that the parties further agreed that Abati and The Guardian should retract and apologise to Buhari in certain form and contents. The terms of settlement reads in part: “The claimant (Buhari) and defendants (Abati and The Guardian) have agreed that the defendants should publish a retraction and an apology to the claimant on the Opinion Page of the newspaper, to be printed in reverse line black (RLB) within seven days ofentering the Consent Terms as the judgment of the court in two editionsof The Guardian.“The claimant and defendants have agreed and resolved that the retraction and apology shall take thefollowing form and contents: ‘Re: Forthe attention of General Buhari’- On April 22, 2011, The Guardian Newspaper published an article on Page 51 titled ‘For the attention of General Buhari’ where certain allegations were made against General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), GCFR, concerning the 2011 election and General Buhari’s alleged role in the violence emanating from the elections.“The publication was based on information which we believed to be reliable at that time. Since the publication, however, we now have reason to believe that certain parts of the story were not verified to be correct before the publication.“We assure General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), GCFR, of our highest esteem and regret any distress or embarrassment which the said publication may have caused him.“The claimant and defendants agree that on the execution of these Termsof Settlement, the defendants are discharged from all or any liabilities or obligations arising from the said publication.”http://dailypost.ng/2013/01/13/presidency-begs-buhari-to-settle-slander-case-out-of-court/Buhari obliged: The out ofcourt settlementGUARDIAN Re: For the attention of General BuhariThursday, 11 July 2013 00:00EditorSIR: “On April 22, 2011, The Guardian Newspaper published an article on page 51 titled “For the attention of General Buhari” wherein certain allegations were made against General Muhammadu Buhari’s alleged role in the violence emanating from the elections. The publication was based oninformation which we believed to be reliable at that time.
