For three straight days, the private residence of the former Lagos State Governor, and national leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu, has been under surveillance by battle-ready and helmet-wearing soldiers. Numbering close to thirty and riding in three patrol vans and an army trucs stationed close to the entrance of the gate to Tinubu’s house along Bourdillon Road in Ikoyi, they have become a permanent feature. PoliticsRe: Nigeria Launches Youth Entrepreneurship Strategy by Babacele: 7:25pm On Feb 10, 2015
succyreal:
President Goodluck
Jonathan has said that his
administration remains the first
government that has successfully
created over five thousand young
entrepreneurs in Nigeria.

He stated this while
launching a broad based public-
private partnership programme
called “Youths Entrepreneurship
Strategy” meant to redefine job
creation for young men and women
in the country on Tuesday in Abuja.
President Jonathan said that
the entrepreneurship strategy
programme would open the gateway
to creating more jobs for the youths
in Nigeria, being part of the efforts
geared towards achieving the
envisaged two million jobs in the
nation’s economy.

Young Nigerians who have
benefitted from the different
government entrepreneurship and
job creation programmes paid
glowing tributes to how the
programmes have positively
impacted their lives.
The co-ordinator of the
public-private-partnership
entrepreneurship programme, Mr
Nicholas Okoye called on youths in
Nigeria to take advantage of the
programme to become employers of
labour instead of seeking white
collar jobs.

I know APC will rig in their strongholds, while PDP will do same in their own strongholds. But with such bold allegations, I will refrain from believing this write-up in this entirety.

If anybody believes the logic that Buhari once fought corruption and as such will fight it again then same person must believe that if Jonathan gave impetus to a free and fair 2011 election, then he'd also do so again this 2nd time. If you disagree, you must be one-sided.

This is one of the achievement the pdp has been flaunting around that he performed credible election, when what he did in Ekiti is arm twisting the ruling government to give it to the area boy. No wonder Fayose will send his boys to disrupt the proceeding of the election tribunal in Ekiti, and no wonder he's so desperating attacking Buhari for the fear of Him losing protection that would eventually lead to his losing the seat.

megautche:
This may sound unpatriotic but it is the bitter truth and unless we tell ourselves this bitter truth we will not move forward as a nation. There are two options to salvage this so called country called Nigeria.
1. Divide this country into different federating states or country. Reasons 1. The northern part of Nigeria is a potential gun powder waiting to explode. The man in the north would easily start an ethnic cleansing of Igbo, Yoruba and other minority ethnic groups in that order if there is any unrest. Draw your mind back to the killings in northern Nigeria since 1966 to date. The northerners would not build a single house outside the north with the exception of a few northern elites who have houses in Lagos and Ph. How many northerners have houses in IMO,Enugu, etc. But the Igbo man buys and builds houses anywhere he settles in this so called country Nigeria. We have forgotten easily the case of abandoned properties in Nigeria where many Igbos lost their properties in Lagos, Ph and Kaduna to mention but a few. The Ikwerre man doesn't want to see an Igbo man in Ph or a Yoruba man. Yoruba doesn't like an Igbo man, the Hausa man hates an Igbo man and so on. The problem in Burundi where the Hutus and Tutsis where at each others for supremacy is still fresh in our minds. The cononial masters due to their greed and selfish reasons amalgamated two different major tribes to form a country so that they would lord over them is still fresh. The amalgamation of the north and south in Nigeria is another example of greed by our cononial masters. It is time to go our desperate ways through a peaceful process. For anyone thinking that Gov Amaechi would benefit from the govt of Buhari needs to think twice. He may just get personal benefit but for the Ikwerre nation to benefit is a zero. I look at Rochas and laugh because he thinks that with all the things he has done in the north that they will accept him is zero.

Option 2 Decentralization of power in the centre and empower the regions and States to form federations. Complete and total resource control of all natural resource. I tell you that if the oil exploration in the north were successful, we would have been hearing a different beat by now. How many dams do we have in the south to support dry season farming. Who says that the south cannot produce all the food being produced in the north. Just wait till the oil wells dry up and the price gets to near zero, the true Nigeria would emerge.
Thank you
That is in PDP not in the New Nigeria under APC. Maybe u don't understand: we now have citizens APC who dream of a better Nigeria , and citizens PDP who wants the status quo of a ethno-religiously divided, deliberately -kept- poor masses but rich united theiving cabals whose only religion n ethnicity is looting Nigeria to remain. Amaechi sees beyond small mindedness n perfidiuos ideology of the cabal hence his defeating PDP Omehia n Odili despite the huge misused federal 'mighty'( no apology to PEJ) ,n his present crusade against wicked cluelessness. You need to have seen Amaechi in November leading an intimidatingly large but peaceful protest of different Nigerians in Abuja to send a warning to the powers that be not to rig the elections or...It shows acceptance. Same way the theiving Northern elites are afraid of Buhari! Amaechi is just leading a divine revolution and no sentiment can stop that! Happy Febuhari!

You just made a blunder as regards the SWF being illegal. It was actually the ECA under Obasanjo that was illegal as it had no legal back up or regulatory frame work. SWF actually has a legal back up and regullatory frame work,as it went through several readings and debate at the senate and house of reps, before it was passed into law. As a matter of fact,it was the problem arising from saving in the ECA,that led to the creation of the SWF,which after being passed into law, replaced the ECA. As at today, the ECA doesn't exist because it is constitutionally illegal. It has been replaced with SWF which has the backing of the constitution. This is one of the reasons why I always advice and admonish people to learn properly on certain topics so that they don't enup ignorantly passing the wrong information to others who might look up to them for certain things.
You are the one misinforming yourself and spreading ignorance!
1. SWF is a global phenomenon of keeping windfall, excess crude or savings in d oil n gas sector for investment purposes. it boosts a nations chances of attracting foreign investment.
2. When introducing a new policy that affects others directly, it wise to consult concerned entities. Gej didn't carry the governors'along in introducing SWF and hence they took him to court? please read the article below;

Sovereign Wealth Fund divides Governors’ ForumMay 23, 2012by Tunde Odesola, Ifeanyi Onuba; Chukwudi Akasike, Femi Makinde and Ozioma UbabukohRivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi| credits: File copyThe Nigeria Governors’ Forum is dividedover the setting up of the Sovereign Wealth Fund by the Federal Government, investigations have revealed.Finance Minister, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, in an interview withThe Wall Street Journalon May 11 in Ethiopia, said the fund would begin operation in the next few months. The minister spoke in spite of a case at Supreme Court, where the state governments were challenging the legality of the Excess Crude Account andthe central government’s transfer of$1bn from the account to the SWF.Sources said the take-off of the SWF was being threatened by the hard stanceof states governed by opposition parties.A source said, “There is a serious problem now as regards the Sovereign Wealth Fund because the state governors have come out to reject it. So as it is now, we don’t know what the next step will be for the Federal Government.“Already, the take -off of the fund has been politicised and some of the governors especially the ones from ACN (Action Congress of Nigeria) are vehemently kicking against it. I know fora fact that a recruitment process for the management of the fund has been concluded but I don’t know what the specific next step for the take-off of the fund is.“The position of the governors is that the law setting up the SWF is inferior to the constitution and based on this, their argument is that all money accruing the to federation must be shared.”Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola, an ACN governor, who spoke through the Commissioner for Inforrnmation andStrategy, Mr. Sunday Akere, said the plan by the FG was executive lawlessness. He said, “Osun and 28 others states went to the Supreme Court to challenge the FG for manipulating the excessive crude fund and non remission of money due to the account.“The state demanded that the should pay to the local government councils and states all dues to them without any deduction.“What the Finance Minister, Dr Ngozi Oknjo-Iweakla, is doing is inconsistent with the rule of law. Why must the FG act unilaterally on an issue before the highest court in the land?”Another ACN governor, Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State objected to the planned implementation of SWF.Fayemi, who spoke with one of our correspondents through his Commissioner for Information, Mr. Funminiyi Afuye, said it was the FG’s insistence to go ahead with the commencement of the SWF despite that governors had taken the case to court showed that the FG did not believe in therule of law.He said, “It is an indication that the FG does not believe in the rule of law. The government is yet to convince Nigerians.“My governor will not support what will undermine the commonwealth of Nigerians in general and Ekiti people in particular. The governors have taken thecase to court but the Federal Government is insisting on going ahead with the implementation of fund. The governors are not in support of the sovereign wealth fund.”But the Director-General of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Mr. Asishana Okauru, said the governors were not in disagreement with the Federal Government on the SWF.The NGF is dominated by the Peoples Democratic Party governors, who are 23, compared to ACN five, the All Progressive Grand Alliance’s two; the Conference for Progressive Change, one and the All Nigeria Peoples Party, three.Okauru, who spoke in a telephone interview with one of our correspondents, said though the governors had issues on the funding of the SWF, the situation had changed since then. Also, the Enugu State Government said it would not take a personal decision to support or object to the implementation of the Sovereign Wealth Fund. The state government spoke through Governor Sullivan Chime’s ChSief Press Secretary, Mr. Chukwudi Achife. He said, “Governor Chime cannot have an independent opinion whether to support or kick against the implementation of the SWF.

But after responding I found out there was no link whatsoever to AIT but to an unknown online site.
The issue is not even the segun's post you are referring me to ,but you asked me if I watched AIT press release, which i watched and they did not display any IP addresses but pattern of votes. Now my question is this; did you actualy watch AIT press release? if yes did you see AIT display or show IP addresses?
But the IP addresses where displayed on nairaland without a link to its original source ( https://www.nairaland.com/2119168/ait-releases-proof-showing-poll ) and on various online sources.Below is what AIT actually sent to media houses.

Note the date on the AIT letter, so when did AIT release the so called IP addresses without a letter head?
Forget politicians they would do everything possible to discredit an opponent or a perceived opponent and do everything to present themselves credible
It was a two page press release not 1 as displayed up by you. so get the last page a 4 paragraph concluding part ,and read the last paragraph carefully. AIT did release a snapshot of the IP addresses to the media. or check this blog mydailysugar.com n type AIT press release on polls. please share your experience later.

3) Punch newspaper and The Nations - they nearly labelled Okonjo-Iweala an enemy of the nation - preaching savings for rainy day when according to them it was already raining

4) Tinubu - I remember an interview he attacked the FG to save it's own share of the federation account if they care but release the states govs share claiming they have a lot to do at home
1. Amaechi n co started saving before the clueless one stopped giving them full allocation. so where is the money?
2. The SWF was illegal as there was no law or agreements setting it up. Besides federal government gets about 52% of all allocations while d remaining are shared by the states n LGs. so why can't the fed government save its share?
3.fiscal indiscipline and corruption are the hallmarks of this administration. maybe you can explain the missing $20b, $1.3trillion subsidy scam, pension funds, oduagate, 400k oil barrel being lost to bunkering daily e.t.c

Have you taken time to read what you've just written? So with these guys you mentioned above and maybe their likes as the host, then every other debate is not acceptable? Nonsense! Where did people get such stubborn and irritating mentality. What has this Buhari done to the mentality and psyches of some Nigerians. I bet you weren't born when he was head of state, he has never been a governor in any state, you've not tasted or witnessed his leadership yet you endorse him for Presidency with blindfold tied to your eyes. What change do you think he promised to bring, put some guys in prison, stop Bokoharam within 24hrs (is that what you think?)..............what else! Is it health care, school, electricity, road, water, name them, what has he promised that haven't been promised before. Maybe you delight on his campaign flyers, posters, hand fans, eye glasses and other colourful ways of campaign that you see him do as a way of betters thing to come (don't be deceived). GEJ on the other hand has his shortcomings, we all know that his kind of person has been giving way to corruption, we know that but what you don't know is that it takes time to fully master the inside game play in Nigeria for you to know how to uproot the main problem from the root itself, and that is what we the masses don't see. CHANGE (for better) doesn't come about just like that, it needs time to apply and manifest and that is the process I believe we're experiencing, it might not be a pleasant one but we should continue praying, hoping and believing God/Allah that this change be made manifest through the leader he has appointed. We the masses in different ways have failed this country and we should CHANGE too.
A very good but futile attempt to sell shit as cake! I have been around bro and i understand my country very well. and dont forget too that this is democracy n people have the right to choose who leads them . The same right we excercised about 6 years ago when the 'cabal' said a shoeless boy from Otuoke couldnt be Nigerian president. we not only defeated them using the constitution to make GEJ the acting president, we went ahead to elect him as the president only for this heartbreaker to ditch us and embraced the bitch of a cabal that has held this nation down for long. Bro, it is payback time . let the cabal vote him! ..A leader must be able to read the feelings of the people he leads, or influence the way they feel; Gej hasnt neither of the two. Corruption roams on the street pampered and protected by the state and you want us to continue to endure its ultimate consequence, poverty, till when! insecurity, impunity n official irresponsibility is the order of the day n u want us to continue to pretend everything is alright while some folks are stealing us blind! don't tell me u don't know there is a thin line between love n hate: we hate to continue like this hence our passion for change!

It is you who need to research on the achievements of GMB because they are so enormous that even GEJ commended him and gave him a national award for his loyalty n positive contributions to the nation about two years ago. Oh forgot i almost , GMB was a minister for petro n built refineries n oil depots but president Jona hasnt; he was the governor of the present north east n is the hero of the defeat the forunner of book haram- maitasaine; as PTF chairman roads built by him within 4 years, Jona hasn't build a half of them in 6 years, just to mention a few. Besides he is nobody's fool!

Besides, it is evident that Buhari as a semi illiterate having lost touch with the current trends of economic and social realities, how would he have made a sound submission when he has nothing in stock.
Watch his campaign very well and pay attention to his speech. You will realise that he has nothing upstairs.
It is only in a party like APC that a professor will choose to work and take instructions from a semi illiterate like Buhari. It is a great shame to education.
