Thanks bros. Now, my lil sis got a BB, Airtel line, she subscribes 1200 monthly for 1+GB and still she can tether her phone to browse on PC. Bros, I pay 3k monthly and get the same service value as my sis gets. Is mine different cos it's not a BB, or is there any other hidden service that mine came with that I'm not exploiting I don't get it. If u know abeg trow me some light.

This bundle is for blackberry subscribers, its airtel's BIS service which is entirely different in pricing from the other mobile plans. Airtel allows its BB subscribers to tether (I.e connect their PC's to the internet via BIS, other networks don't allow this) and as such you can use that subscription on your PC, internet modem, its also this functionality that other phones like android, nokia , iphone exploit to connect.

This service is for blackberries, BUT can work on other devices. Airtel is not cheating you or duping you. They just didn't make the service for you non-blackberry folks. So enjoy the loophole and freebie while it lasts.

philips70: I think it is different because you have to work over apple apps. Same question I asked about ipad which is just a bigger iphone. No one is yet to give me a convincing response on my last questions on if it will work with the applications or just on the safari browser. A friend of mine needs an answer to this but I will just tell him to try it since there is no harm in doing so. He can only loose 1k2 once which is somewhat negligible.

Yo Phil! It works great with all apple apps. Tested. Browser works with safari, chrome and opera that I use. I have an Asus Transformer Pad that i tether my iphone internet with but I dont know about ipad, but u should be good to go if u just tether ur phone Internet to ur iPad. I think u should dig more into their data bundle and understand it before attempting anything.
