Hi empressonassis,
I also had the same issue two weeks back, i picked February for my appointment at the embassy even though i was supposed to resume March also at IUBH but i woke up like every night by 11pm - 12am and got lucky by seeing January. I rebooked immediately. You can also try the same method till mid January hopefully, you would be lucky also.

But, if you really want a refund, just explain to them that you could not get a space, they shouldn't have any reason for withholding since its your money or contact Tgmeducation in Ikeja, they are affiliated with the school, they could be of help.
Didn't you cancel your previous booking before rebooking?

Good evening guys. I commend everyone who has been commenting , and informing so far. May 2018 bless us all and take us to our desired destination.

Please I'd like to know if it's compulsory to learn German and do the geothe exam before going for interview, considering that the course I'm going for would be taught in English.

Happy 2018 guys.
Hi Marvin, since your course will be fully taught in English, it's not compulsory for you to learn German. However,it is always advisable to learn German even if it is A1 or A2 just for you to be able to integrate with people in your environment in Germany.

Thanks for your reply Berliner1 pls some1 told me they can help me procure 100 level transcript from either delsu or uniben pls i would like to knw if u have or seen some experience dat and hw true it is, wether it can be used successfully for the application process and if it won’t backfire on the long run

Thanks as i await ur reply
Hi Sam, Please don't engage yourself in such nefarious act. Buying of transcript is a fraudulent practice, anyone that give you such advice is only looking for a means to extort your money, which will definitely land you into trouble in future . Germans are smarter than you can ever imagine. Verification of authenticity of documents nowadays is very easy due to improvement in internet technology. Your question has been answered, you just need to have 100level or HND transcripts. What you need to do now is to pursue your HND or use your OND to gain direct entry into the university ,then finish and get your certificate and transcripts, and then apply. I think you also have to learn German up to B1 .

Hello, I've been following the issue you have with your student visa appointment. I'm really sorry. This is something that shouldn't be wished on anyone.

However, there's something you're not getting right. When the consulate replied you that you can book 3 weeks after, they meant three weeks after your appointment i.e. if you honoured that appointment and for some reasons your application was rejected due to incomplete documents or something.

Meaning if you are yet to honour you appointment, you can cancel your appointment this minute and book another the next (as long as it's a week before the appointment, i think), just make sure your desired date is available.

Also, you don't have to use another email. It's really unnecessary. As long as you cancelled correctly, your details wont be found on the system again and you can book another entry.

I know it's difficult to relax in situations like this, but please relax, hopefully, you'll be fine.

Wish you the best!!!!
Thanks alot Ayomeah

Why the three weeks deadline? I have been re-booking with no issues. Did you miss the one week deadline?
Any idea when they'll stop adding dates?
Not at all. The one I booked and cancelled was 18th Jan.Did you use the same email and passport number during rebooking?

then you have to get a date in mid January at least. juss be on the watch bro
Yes. I sent a mail to embassy today about it and their response was that it was booked and cancelled. That they have no influence on the system and that system will not allow to apply till 3 weeks after appointment. I saw Feb 21st and 23rd last night, but I didn't book as my enrollment is early March. I just need to get date around January.

I had the same issue, my curiosity made me mail then juss to confirm my appointment due to what I heard that somebody was sent back on interview date that he didn't book. Behold, they replied and said no appointment was booked with this email. I mailed them back with my passport number, the screen shot of my appointment cancellation page(when trying to cancel) because I was sure I booked with my passport number. Later in the day, they replied and said they have resent a new confirmation mail to me... Truly I got a new appointment email for the date I previously booked.

Is it still possible to do this after the cancellation.I mean was your cancellation successful before sending them an email?

So sorry for that, I'm guessing you didn't put your passport number. Getting the confirmation is automatic though, it doesn't mean you properly booked the appointment

Someone had the same problem, so he cancelled and rebooked

Just cancel the appointment, then be on the lookout when it will be added back to the website so you can rebook
Thanks.I booked under "Long term visa(students only) and wasn't too sure it was successful as there was network failure. So I wanted to rebook that same day ,but the system popped up a message that my passport has already been used. Immediately I got a confirmation email for my booking. So I thought it was successful. I take it as a blessing anyway.

The worst had just happened to me. I booked appointment on 20th December for visa slated for 18th January and immediately got a confirmation of booking on my email telling to print the confirmation and come along with it on the day of interview. Meanwhile I read in this forum that some persons will booked appointment upon arrival at embassy for their interview were told no appointment for them on that date. In lieu of this, I decided to confirm from embassy status of my appointment. This morning I got a response that no appointment the visa number. This is so disheartening to me right now knowing the fact that it is difficult getting a date nowadays. How come I got confirmation of appointment after booking. Any advice on the forward Pls.

my own take on this is that you spend time searching and doing the hard work yourself, just by reading this thread and other past thread on studying in Germany you will become close to being a consultant your self, if you have any issues just come and express yourself here and those who know better are always available to help you out, because you will need every penny you can save , except you can afford it. thats my own advise sha .

Regards
You cannot be in this forum and still nurture the feeling of using a consultant. It is a colossal waste of resources .Everything you need to know is here. Note that Consultant can only help you for the paper work and may charge you high, and you still have to face the interview yourself.

Gurus in the house. I have been trying to booking an interview date and the system writes" Unfortunately, there are no appointments available at this time. New appointments will be made available for booking at regular intervals. 02/2018 "
Please how do i go about it.
Please respond.
Be on the look out every minute, seconds and hours. Let the visa appointment booking site be your friend for now. Before you eat look at the site first, before you drink water look at the site first, before taking your bath look at the site first. Always ensure your phone battery doesn't run down. When you do this, someone can cancel his/her appointment and you will jump at it. I believe between now and Sunday midnight other dates in February will be opened. Best of luck.

Can I applied for a school that uses German And English language To teach, without an experience or certificate in German language?
It will be difficult for you to gain admission as school may request you to apply with German certificate of at least B1 for you to be able to follow lectures in German language. Even if you manage to scale the admission, you may not be successful in enrollment as school will insist you have it. Again, even if you are admitted, you may not find it easy to get visa as the visa consulate will ask you if your courses are taught in German or English. If your answer is that both languages are required, then the consulate may ask you to submit your German language certificate or quickly test your knowledge of German written and verbal which you cannot pass. The way forward is apply for English taught courses only, or spend at least 1 year to learn German to B1 before reapplying.

Guys, please I want to ask,i have been following this thread for long now..contrary to popular belief that the minimum passing grade of our grading system here in nigeria is 1.0, it seems Uni-assist is using 2.0,pls is dis true? It seems our government has changed it to 2.0 and it is reflecting on anabin site..pls,i want to ask,how many of we guys have gotten their documens evaluated by uni-assist,did they use 2.0 as the minimum passing grade?
Mine was evaluated few weeks ago by Uni-assist using 1.0 as the minimum and 5.0 as the maximum. I already have two admission letters with it, and I'm waiting for the last school to respond. I have also booked visa appointment already. Contact uni-assist if you have any issue with their evaluation. But you know the formula, so do your own calculation first and if there is any discrepancies, contact them.

read previours page of the forum or go to daad.de and do an advance search for the course you want am sure u will get as many course as possible
Bros why don't you apply for masters? After 10 years, one would expect you to take a step further by going for Masters instead of another undergraduate again. It's possible sha! but be prepared to answer questions regarding why you want to pursue another undergraduate degree when you already have one over 10 years ago. You really need to convince visa consulate on this.

Overskills nie dey make monkey fall
Some people asking aren't asking because they don't have data to search for the answers rather they are asking because for goodness sake this is a German schooling Enquiries like I said most of their websites are in Germany you can't tell me you did everything by yourself without asking one damn question

If you can't answer ignore,it's better than throwing low key shades

And try to help anyone it doesn't matter if they are too dumb to be graduates

You are not God,you either help or mind your business

Not that
You are not helping and you aren't minding your damn business

This is not a matter of being over skilled, the truth is that most newbie are not interested in reading at all, rather wants to be spoon fed all the time. Your question has been answered time without number in this part 4 alone. Advising you to read back is for your own good, because you will be better equipped with the understanding of the process .However all information regarding courses and how to apply can be found on www.daad.de
or www.study-in.de.

This is not about dulling or being smart. If you see a date that you know you can honor, please go ahead and book. I am talking about those that know they will NEVER honor the dates they are choosing now, they are only choosing those dates because they want to have something to hold on to, so they can cancel in the future and select the actual convenient dates. Now, this doesn’t make any sense, you can only cancel before you can book another date, and once you cancel you automatically fall into the category of someone that has never booked before.
So why choose a date you know you can’t honor only to cancel it and pick another date in the future. By doing this, you will prevent those that actually need those dates now from booking their appointments, so they also will be forced to look into that future date you are hoping to book after you have canceled the previous appointment you booked thus leading to panic and unavailability of dates.
The Embassy has a policy of adding just a few days to the appointment dates so that people won’t book appointments months in advance. It doesn’t mean there won’t be dates when you are ready to book.
I strongly believe that the appointment issues they had for Winter semester was as a result of what I am trying make you guys understand now. It was only in Nigeria that they ran out of appointments dates. We Nigerians like to act too smart at times, thereby causing unnecessary issues for ourselves.

If you submitted your admission application in Nov. or December, you don’t have any business booking appointments now because you offer letter CAN not be ready until sometimes in late February or March (if you see dates in late February or March now, you can book, but please leave the earlier dates for those that already have their offer letters).
Rushing to book dates you don’t need now will only cause issues for us all. I hope you guys get the point i am trying to make. If we all rush and book appointments now, even some people that may not get admission may book dates and they might even forget to cancel it so as to free it up for someone who needs it.
Lalaski I quite agree with you. Those that have admission letter can book, those that are sure of admission letter after consultation with their prospective schools to know when the admission letter will be out can also book, but I don't see any reason why every dick and hareem , some who are yet to even apply to schools for admission are already filling up dates, only to cancel and rebook. The resultant effect is that there is going to be many cancellation and rebooking. This may force the consulate to use some persons as a scape goat by ensuring those in the category is banned for 6 months. Let us be careful and book wisely.

They won't or they shouldn't. Just be straightforward in your dealing with them. You will need to note that if you do not fill married during your residence permit application, you might have to wait till after 2 years before you can do a family reunion. Just convinced them during the interview and you are good to go. Shalom

I don't know the section you checked but for students visa, there are no appointments available from dec until 2nd feb.
Like i said, the only way new dates will be available is the consulate putting up new dates from 3rd feb (they put one day every working day) and people cancelling their previously booked appointments (probably because some didn't get the admission or they are not yet prepared for the interview

Be straightforward and fill married including the name and address of your hubby and vice-versa. Since both address will be that of Nigeria, they might not even find out until days after the interview or during your hubby interview provided they will. They might ask from your hubby who and how he will be taking care of his wife while he is away. At this point, wisdom is needed in answering the question. Then don't let your interview fall on the same day, I think that will settle it. Ordinarily, they shouldn't have problem with it so far you both have the required means of sustenance, it is not against the law of Germany. NOTE: If you fill single, remember your marriage certificate is with a date already and for you to come together officially in Germany as husband and wife , you will need it. What happens if they detect the anomalies in the date compare to your info during interview ? Shalom

What of situation where you are a married and your wife and baby lives in Belgium while the husband lives inn Nigeria. Won't the German embassy feels that the man is trying to use that medium as an escape route to join his family ,whereas the true intention is to study in Germany and also have the advantage to see your family whenever you wish. House what did you advice in this case?
