I am a witness to what Nigerians can do....good people irrespective of our political and economic gbege..we are no fraudsters no matter d pictures painted..i landed in Toronto some weeks back...stranded due to issues with my debit ATM MasterCard (couldn't withdraw from my account as only credit card is accepted at the spot) only to contact an NL member who not only came to my aid but linked me with another guy who helped with my accommodation and other School issues. Imagine standing outside at temperature -5 degrees and -15 degrees wind chill...am ever indebted to u guys..i know u are reading this.. thanks a trillion.
-Do u know the percentage of successful visa application on this thread keeps increasing? just for Winter applications alone I have counted over 20 successful stories...still counting though (may more success stories come in as d year ends -Amen)... it points to d fact that we are capable of achieving our dreams...pls lets kip d flame burning, lets make positive comments and assist as much as we could...u never know when d table would turn.

This is by far the best Xmas gift ever! Haven't seen my "Soon to be Mrs" since I left Nigeria in September so now it means I'm gonna see her in January cos I'm heading to Calgary for the Xmas holiday and our future plans are falling into place.

6 days after my medicals .And I was told at VFS to come back 5days after my passport submission .i just went there today without receiving a mail .

Your passport can stay in Oregun for 2 weeks before they send it back.
I would advice you go there blindly shaaa... I did not receive any notification that my passport was ready to be collected.
I submitted on Monday and went back on Wednesday morning blindly. They said it was not there. I asked when it would be around. The guy checked his computer and told me 2pm that same day. Went back by 2pm. Tada! It was there. Just take that biometric slip/payment slip or whatever they call that piece of paper along with you when going.

Good meaning someone can go there to collect it without d notification . I submitted on Monday too . It means mine should be back then too

This house has touched the lives of many people and I am a living witness. I did my medicals on Friday(12/12/2014). I just checked my CIC page and behold Review of medical result: Passed . Please what next. Am i going to wait for them to request my passport and how long from now?

i did mine on monday.And i just received a mail from CIC now saying medical passed.

Bro I sent my scanned original certificates and transcripts .no I didn't certify mine o .u don't need to .
My cousin in America paid for me on my behalf cos I don't think Nigerian banks do that.Go to bank and tell them u want to pay for application fee ,they should be able to help u.
