I uploaded the two because there were some questions asked in the optional part that wasn't asked in the first, like travel history. But it's optional so you might not have to.

The part payment for your tuition and your letter of sponsorship should be added to the part that says "Proof of Financial Support". Please don't add it to the Letter of Acceptance part. That is different.


Document: Proof of Means of Financial Support

You must prove that you can support yourself and the family members accompanying you while you are in Canada by providing as many of the following documents:
•your bank statements for the past four months
•a bank draft in convertible currency
•pay stubs
•an employment letter
•proof of assets or business
•proof of payment of tuition and accommodation fees
•tax reports, declarations or statements
•proof of a student/education loan from a financial institution
•a letter from the person or institution providing you with money
•proof of funding paid from within Canada, if you have a scholarship or are in a Canadian-funded educational program
•proof of a Canadian bank account in your name if money has been transferred to Canada

That's what it clearly specifies.
thanks so much.but what of the optional documents parts where i find schedule 1Application for a Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside Canada (required).i already done that with the IMM1294 FORM.or will i upload it again

You can add that to your "Letter of Acceptance" section, you all join them as a single file and not exceeding 4mb per section

Add the letter of sponsorship and everything relating to funds and your sponsor to the "Proof of Financial support" section all as a single file and not exceeding the same 4mb as above

You might want to yourself like 5 mins break before retrying to upload

So I've finally submitted my application today and also gotten the biometric mail. Office no go allow me do am today.

Police clearance cert not compulsory for online.... as for which is faster, am not sure if anybody can answer that for now thou online usually seems to be faster

Holmes007: Ok, lets use my App as a case study;
When i applied, i declared on my App that my father's friend will be my primary sponsor i.e he is fully responsible for my upkeep in Canada while my mum will be my co-sponsor.

I dont know why peeps get the impression that u cant use a non family sponsor for ur App. To show proof that he was credible i submitted photos we took during my convocation, ceremonies and a very touching reference letter. Datz all!

To cut the story short, it took only 7-8wks to get my TRV approved not even 9wks. If u have a credible sponsor and u have proof (pics are good enough), u have nothing to worry about.

atbu1983: he was notified on the 2nd of September. he didn't check his mail on time. he just checked his mail today. my broda applied on d 21st of July. he wasn't checking his status regularly
