Secondly and more importantly bayelsa state governor was dismissed on similar grounds
Finally if it wasn't a big deal, then why did obaseki go and lobby nysc to issue a new certificate

Firstly, obaseki was disqualified because he doesn't want any godfather again, which didn't go down well with oshomole who happens to be the national chairman that cooked up the shenanigan called screening.
Secondly Bayelsa own was disqualified because he has multiple names more than 3 different names, where does that happen? obaseki has just one omitted letter while bayelsa own have plenty different names.
Finally he didn't need to lobby them, it is within his right to write to the nysc and it is their duty to correct their mistake.

This error didn't just occur this year. It happened over 20years ago . obaseki didn't for once considered correcting this error up until now because it formed part of the reason given by the APC screening commitee for his disqualification.

In law , obasek is different from obaseki.
Many still have issues with their names misspelled and did nothing about it. When it is now used against them, it is not the village people that is after you. You are simply lazy and complacent . simply face the music.

And Apc must be lazy and stupid to have used the same certificate to present him for election before oshomole decided to form superman.
