I’ll rather do a top up course in UK to be equivalent to bsc than getting my bsc here and use my bsc later for masters Yeah I know there's Top Up in the UK, You can do the UK top up if you can afford it, it's just 2 Semesters, Just tick the Bachelors box and move on, you gonna need it sooner or later. |

sewenbigboi: For the BSC To get bsc from HND depends on course
Maybe open university offers your HND course of study U can’t even see mine in open university 😂😂 Haa, Your course must be a special one then, you can try conventional universities then, or even private universities. |

sewenbigboi: Thanks for advise HND is accepted in some schools If u have the money you’ll see schools that accept HND in UK Them plenty In fact that’s my plan now I'd rather obtain my BSc to enable me leverage the option of going for Masters anywhere in the world than to limit my self to UK alone. I'm 40 years old but my age didn't deter me from going for a BSc and I'll round it up in December this year, I believe you're way younger than me, you've all the time in the world, get your BSc here and Japa later, my 2 cents 👍 |

Guy, just go for your BSc here in Nigeria and continue your Japa plans later |

digitaccountant: That's one thing about lack of vision.
You see those countries in Eastern Europe that are now part of Schengen zone( now everyone wanna go to Latvia, Estonia, Romania, Lithuanian) etc , people went there when they were not even part of the EU and today they are part of the dream.
If the OP has faith and prepare well and is going to focus on studies, things will become better. The problem is you will probably spend the same amount of money going to these non EU countries as you would going to EU or Sheghen countries. I'd rather he focus on EU or Sheghen countries. |

victorVIC1: Please my lil sis wants to explore Austrian. I've shared the link with her to join the forum. While she sorts that out, I will like to know if they accept HND for master's programs. She also did an MBA program, does she have to declare this or leave it out?
Also when does admission commences for September intake? Bad news!!! HND is not accepted for Masters. HND plus PGD or MBA doesn't mean shit abroad, she should have used the time she used doing MBA to run a BSc program which would be just 2 years. I'm in the same situation, I'm currently running a BSc program in National Open University of Nigeria, I was admitted to 300L with my HND. The moment I round up, I'll continue with my Japa plans. |

@Tensa please I got some questions!! Are there English taught masters in Chile, MBA or Msc in Business Admin? Must you be employed before you obtain your PR as a student after one year? Is it possible to secure Masters with HND in Chile? Though I'm currently running a BSc program scheduled to end in December 2025. I hope there's no age restriction for study visa because I'm currently 40 years |

AquilaOvum: We are waiting for our seniors to come and enlighten us. But from what I learnt in other Australia threads, the best route as a nurse is going through the student visa route. The process of processing the PR visa from Nigeria is very bureaucratic and cumbersome. This is why Nigerians are still backward on a global scale It's always better to immigrate as a permanent resident, that way you enjoy all the benefits of Immigration from the moment you land in your dream country!!! All the bureaucracy and cumbersome process will not exceed a year, the Indians understand this, they're always patient with the process until they get what they want. If you're a licensed Nurse from Nigeria with BSN, please forget the student route, use 6 months to do all the proper documentation and English test, then apply for Permanent Residence : |

Very good.
Polytechnics are useless.
HND graduates are not accepted in the whole of Europe, Asia, America, Africa, Oceania etc for Masters Degree admission.
A lot of HND graduates are stuck in Nigeria because they can't Japa through school with it.
Close the polytechnics down 👎 |

He borrowed to build roads and bridges across the country,
Gave us imfastuctural development that even his hatters can never denies it's existence
He borrowed to give us subsidy and we were able to get petrol at N200 per liter
He borrowed to defend the Naira and the highest our Naira rate per dollars in black market that the government didn't defend was N762 per dollars
He borrowed to defend our farmers by introducing different Agric programs that's why garri remained the last helper of the poor throughout his term as president
But for OTP, One Term President, we never see anything yet. Buhari and Tinubu are failures |

If your wife has a job you can use her contract but the Chilean government will confirm if she earns enough to support a family before they give you Fair enough, in essence you must prove economic sustainability before you are granted permanent residence. |

tensazangetsu20: Chile Is an amazing country but unfortunately it's not paradise. Chile as a country has very deep internal issues and most of these issues do not show on the surface.
You don't get to see Chile's issues until you start interacting with Chileans and get to see life through their own perspective.
The wage inequality in Chile is very real. A simple internet search will show you that Chile has one of the largest income Inequalities in the world but if you come to Chile, it's not very apparent. Most people tend to dress well and somehow look fresh but men life is hard.
Let's say you live in the same city I live in and you earn the Chilean minimum wage of around 500000 Chilean pesos which comes to around 500 usd a month. A single room in this city. A room not a house goes for 200000 pesos. You would also pay a tax of around 50000 pesos on that money. What's left after that. How are you gonna eat? How are you gonna buy clothes and all.
The education gap is also very wide. It's very expensive to go to school in Chile from primary school to university so if you are born in a low income household you are pretty much bleeped to be honest. It will take the grace of god to pull out. To be born to a poor single mother household in Chile is equivalent to being born an almajiri in Nigeria. There's really not much difference. Life on earth would be hell for both people.
Another problem I have noticed is that the family unit in Chile is completely broken. A lot of Chilean men are very irresponsible and that has led to a huge number of single mothers. It's almost an epidemic here. There's like so many single mothers. Most times these kids are left to the mothers to raise and it's extremely difficult especially if the lady doesn't have a good career or profession going for her.
Truly every country in this world has issues and there's really no perfect country on earth. I like Chile for what I have gained here and the opportunities I have gotten access to but Chile has really deep issues and I feel those issues are what makes Chile a second world country despite how developed the country is. I feel a whole lot more work will need to be done by the government to reduce the wage gap for Chile to actually be a first world nation in the true sense of it. This is actually not a problem, Chile is where it's supposed to be in terms of development, like you said it's a Second world country, I'm not disappointed with that. Chile is still far better than a certain giant of Africa that has become a home to Mass murderers, Serial killers, Kidnappers, Ritualists, Armed Robbers, Bribery and Corruption, Vandalism etc Chile will get there. |

79733139: You can still do passive listening when you are occupied with something else, just set the proper expectations that you are not going to absorb 100% of the material, even if you absorb 10%, it is still good enough. Only do passive listening with audios to which you have listened and decoded their meanings. Don't do passive listening with new audios. With your experience in this journey, do you think living in a francophone country for 3 months immersion will help in blasting TEF or TCF, especially for someone on A2 level. I'm looking at embarking on this adventure next year, it'll cost a lot of money so I need some assurances |
