Amgoodtogo: It depends. If you're going alone or with family. Iceland requires a minimum of ISK 240,000 per month. And that's around 2.9m to 3m naira. So if you calculate for 12 calendar months that's about 36m to 37m naira. In my case as at the time I was arranging my pof, the naira was really low I needed about 40m.
So to answer your question, you will need between 36m-40m give or take. Many thanks man |

The richest Nigerians live in Nigeria. I've not left Nigeria sef. I'm not near one of the richest Nigerians so I have to plan my exit, most of your so called richest Nigerians go abroad for Medicals, Holidays, Studies for their kids etc so I might as well go and live there |

Amgoodtogo: Iceland offers some undergraduate studies, as well as post graduate diploma course for free. And they are taught in English.
I'm 42yrs old, and relocating to Iceland via study route for a 3yr bsc program. By September, I should be in Iceland by God's grace. Just paid my registration fee, and other payables. Currently waiting for my resident permit. Please I'm not clear with proof of funds for Iceland study visa, how much do I need as POF. I need this question answered please. |

Which life are they living on Instagram Life of fake pictures and crime Nigeria is a joke, massive killings in Benue, Katsina, Zamfara, Sokoto & South East. Human rituals in South West and parts of South South. I hope they show these on Instagram too !!! |

uniqNurse: Hello everyone please I need help on this information, apart from UK, Cyprus, Turkey, Poland and Malta what other European country can one study abroad as an undergraduate within the age of 35-40, I have searched and I can’t get an answer so I’m genuinely looking for. Throw in the insults it’s fine I’m just looking for one helping answer. First of all no one will insult you, Naija is in a despicable state right now, so any legitimate japa move is welcome Right now, Japa is all about affordability and visa success rate, they're some countries in Europe aside the ones you mentioned above that still makes sense for your profile like Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia & Romania. All these countries are in the Shenghen Zone and you can secure undergraduate admission regardless of your age but most of BSc courses are not English taught, meaning you'd have to learn the language of the country. |

I am a HND graduate too, I enrolled into National Open University of Nigeria last year and I was admitted into 300L, I'll be done by December so form next year I'll use my Bachelor Degree to look for admission in any school and country of my choice across the world. I'll advise you to do the same! Don't worry about your age, I believe I'm older than you, I'm 41 years old, so you see you have all the time 👍 |

Interesting thing is none has left the UK because they couldn't get COS. How do you explain this? They all leave after 2 years post study, the 2 years post study has been reduced to 18 months now. Though, they can choose to relocate to other countries through PHD Studies. |

OkanlawonB: Pls, while advising you should not undermine the role interrest, ability and passion plays in choosing a carrier path. People should not choose a carrier path based on the ease of securing a stay through a particular occupation. Nobody should force him or herself into an occupation he or she is not interrested in or have passion for, because you may even land yourself in trouble doing this. PLEASE!!! Leave Interest & Passion one side. The countries you're immigrating to are telling you that they prefer people with STEM backgrounds and you're talking sheet If you want to pursue your interest and passion, remain in your country. It's useless talk like this that made Nigeria raised generations of unskilled people in the last 30 years where many became Criminals, Terrorists, Bandits, Prostitutes, Corrupt government officials etc People should embrace Health Sciences, Mathematics, ICT, Engineering, Skills Trade and Agricultural Studies, these are what the developed countries are looking for |

The governments of UK and Ireland are getting it wrong, they are tightening legal immigration routes but they let their boarders open for illegal immigrants to come in everyday from France Instead of them to allow us that have chosen the legal routes, they're busy romancing and taking care of illegal immigrants, no wahala shaa. |

Mindlog: I am a "decent income" earner, living and working here in London.
After all the expenditure for the month, what I have as spare for savings for a month, is the several months savings of a "decent income" earner in Nigeria and in terms of what it buy in each Country.😂😂😳
The best comparison is how the lowest income earner in Nigeria fares, in comparison to the low income earner in another Country. The thing tire me ohhh. That's why I upped the Income to 500k sef. A person earning 500k in Nigeria is struggling, let alone someone earning 70k monthly 😄😄 |
Travel › Re: Still Want To JAPA? Americans Complain ''We Can't Afford Food!'' (Video) by babakb: 4:52pm On Apr 29, 2025 |
TopBanter: Bro, go and inspect my first post here, that you quoted, to note you jumped the gun. I made sure to qualify my statement properly with "for those with decent income" condition to ensure folks know I was not talking about a "minimum wage earner in Nigeria".
My point stands that those earning decent income in Nigeria are better off than those earning what is decent income in the UK because of high cost of rent, bills, public transport fees everyday associated cost etal.
Britons, who earn decent wage, are frustratingly testifying online about how fed up they are with life in the nation and you are here saying something else.
If you earn £3000 monthly, after tax, that would be £36000 annually which used to be very decent money like even 10 years ago in the UK.
Today, with even a studio flat in a decent-ish area of London costing £1800 monthly, £21,600 annually, then how much is left to service many, many bills and other if life's essential recurring outgoings in one of the most expensive nation on Earth?
Whereas , can you then compare the lifestyle of a Londoner earning £3000 a month ( around 6 million Naira) to Lagosian earning 1 million naira a month when, to begin with, he pays 3 million Naira yearly for a one bed flat in most parts of Lagos (around 25% of his annual salary) whereas the Londoner pays as much as 60% of his annual salary on rent alone?
Yes things are tough in Nigeria for minimum wage earner but things are horrid for those on supposedly decent wage in the UK because of the unacceptable high cost of living Briton are nearly at rioting point over. You're indeed a topbanter 😊😊😊 You guys just want to see the downfall of the west sha All this shit you wrote here doesn't matter as long as a minimum wage earner can not live decently in Nigeria. Besides, let's put what you call decent income to test, Average families earning 500k monthly in Nigeria are also struggling. I'll prorate it monthly for an average family of 4 living in a semi urban area. Rent - 50k Groceries & Gas - 230k Transport Cost - 80k School Fees - 60k Bills (Electricity, Cable TV, Water Bill, Security, Service Charge) 50k Emergency Repairs 30k Apparently, even 500k is not a decent income in Nigeria for an average family, so I don't even know what you mean by "Decent Income" The west is by far better than the whole of Africa, let's stop being in denial. |

How can a man stand to say his wife is so perfect that he can't flow with her.......
Are you married .... You really hate women, I pity the woman that will marry you 😭😭😭 Women can never win in your space. The man clearly said his wife is too perfect for him so he's ending the marriage and you're still trying to put it on the woman. I know a few men that has this same feelings as we speak, because of their promiscuous life style out there, their conscience judge them every day, they lie to their wives that they're going for a conference in another state and the wives prays for them and wish them safe journey, where as they're only going to frolick with their whores, do you think it's easy living a lie.
