lovere:They can't waste their resources to do our job for us, it's the Nigerian system that needs to ensure that a tout doesn't even obtain a Passport. And those who obtained passports and decides to go abroad should be counselled by our immigration authorities at the airport and warned that if they commit a crime outside Nigeria, their passports will be revoked and will not be issued another one until after 10 years. The UAE realized that our government didn't take the issue serious so they took matters into their own hands, if they lift the ban and Nigerians misbehave there again, they should enforce the ban again ![]() |
leopardinatree:I suspected that it would get to this, they will make TEF or TCF harder to pass now. They want people who have actually studied and lived in a francophone environment for like a year or more ![]() |
lovere:At least the UAE has experienced some sanity since banning Nigerians from coming in ![]() It's true that we have poor leadership in Nigeria but a lot our youth lack the right attitude to leave in a sane and developed society. |
Mustiboy:That's very good, The Russian Government Scholarship is currently ongoing, to close on 1st November 2023, but the applicant must be fluent in Russian, You can apply through https://auth.education-in-russia.com/oauth2/authorize?lang=en&client_id=educationinrussia&redirect_uri=https://education-in-russia.com/account/login&scope=openid%20profile%20email%20groups%20additional_info&response_type=code |
Originalsly:Please take your ignorance out of here. The people I'm talking to know what I mean, who told you anybody will suffer for years If you are married to an EU Citizen, you immediately get residency permit that enables you to work and study in your spouse's country, so you're not suffering, even international students work and live well in the EU let alone spouses of an EU Citizen. You seem to be very laid back in your reasoning ![]() About the Language, People learn language everyday, I know you can speak some local Nigerian languages the doesn't have any economic benefits. |
olamide34:And they want to admit only 1000 in total |
cyntobless:First of all, If you can't speak Basic Arabic or French, just avoid Morocco!! |
The problem of we Nigerians is that we don't like to learn foreign languages that's why we're breaking the bank to immigrate out of the country ![]() If you can speak and write fluently any of the following: Portuguese, German, Finish, Swedish, Italian, Russian, Norwegian, Danish etc you will study from BSc to Phd level for free while earning a good income in a developed country. |
I'm really wondering why The young and single men in Nigeria are blinded, If you're a young and single Nigerian man, look for an EU Citizen and marry her, love her genuinely and live with her for a minimum of 5 years, and you will obtain your EU passport. We can condemn the West all we want but they have the best Citizenship system across the world. Remember if you acquire the Citizenship of any EU country, you automatically have the right to live, study and work in any of the EU member countries, you get to enjoy Visa Free travels across the world, If I was single, I would Marry an EU granny to achieve this ![]() |

DEBJOCH1:I've not been to Cotonou before but I have some information from those who have been there. 1M is not enough for a year, you need a minimum of 2M, this will cover your accommodation cost, feeding and transportation costs. You can enroll into Institute Francais du Benin. You can only consider a budget of 1M if you have someone that will accommodate you for free for the whole of the year. |
Kbomber:If you're an experienced Doctor, Nurse, Pharmacist, IT Professional. Any other profession apart from those listed above, max you can get is 5k QAR which is equivalent to 500k naira. |
MatrixReloaded:This Chile thread pain you gan ![]() Hate it or love it, Chile get level pass Naija ![]() |
ehissi:Mr Let Go and Scot are around ![]() They will wash Steve Harvey now, Harvey is almost 70 years now, he can't satisfy Majorie again. |
Gerrard59:Fair Enough |
Gerrard59:What about me that is 40 years ![]() |
Why are Lagos and Oyo states government encouraging peganism ![]() Pagans are a curse to any society. |
Very good development, I see that a lot of BSc graduates are not happy with this development ![]() All HND graduates should take advantage of this opportunity and convert to BSc ASAP, Top Up degrees are well recognized everywhere in the world. You can use it to apply for Masters abroad and Japa, it's 100% equivalent to regular BSc ![]() |
lady25:To be honest it will be extremely hard to get a job within 120 days without any knowledge of Portuguese in Portugal. All these Job seeker visas introduced by EU countries are good but the applicants have to be careful not to go there and exhaust their hard earned savings within six months and come back to Nigeria pennyless. My advice is: Learn Portuguese to an Intermediate level, to a level where you can write your CV in Portuguese, attend interviews, etc, Nigerians have an edge with this class of Visa because we are fluent in English, if only we will endure and learn the official language of the country we intend to immigrate to. All the best ![]() |
Holywizard:Even your study Visa is not guaranteed ![]() But if you secure a study permit, go, if you're single pick a citizen there and marry her, period. |

dealhunter:You are too judgmental, you ought to have known that the 2 years average time I indicated is for average Nigerians who don't have any significant travel history, It's obvious you're the one that doesn't know anything and yet you're misleading people here. Read the testimony you posted above, the applicant has a valid US and UK Visa and also several expired Shenghen visas, of course people like that will get their Visit Visas in 2 months or less. I repeat, the average Nigerian without any significant travel history will wait for an average of 2 years to get approval for Canadian Visit Visa. |
dealhunter:Canada visit visa takes an average of two years to be approved ![]() |
eddy2farm:People aren't listening, The Canadian federal government and Canadian employers are not stupid ![]() The system in Canada ensures that people already in the country with full working rights are employed before processing work permit for foreigners, for example: Citizens and Permanent residents New permanent residents and their spouses Refugees with protected status International Students Post graduate work permit holders Spouses of International Students in Canada Spouses of Temporary work permit holders in Canada. All these categories of people already have working rights in Canada, so why would the Canadian employers bother to employ foreigners from outside Canada and go through the hassles of processing work permit Why would the Canadian government give significant quota to work permit for foreigners when these categories of people are increasing in numbers and can fill the labour gaps in the country, Immigration consultants will only rip you off of your hard earned money, they can't beat the system. The only way to have a chance to secure a job in Canada from outside is if you're a highly qualified and experienced Medical Doctor Registered Nurse Nurse Aide IT Professional Advanced Bilingual ( English & French ) in any profession. No short cuts to Canada ![]() |
If you have the legal means, leave West Africa as fast as you can ![]() |
obinrinrere:I wish I can like your post countless times ![]() You spill pure truth. |
pappybarry:The only process is the legal route, reside in your chosen country for a minimum of 5 years, learn the dominant official language (French), and have a verifiable source of livelihood. Don't be deceived, no short cuts for citizenship in these countries ![]() |
Where are the Anti-Japa crew that always tell people to invest in Nigeria ![]() Listen to them at your own peril. |
lizabeet:Only very few Universities in UK and US accepts HND for Masters directly, the rest of the world doesn't accept HND for MSc so what's the point, besides it's better to convert to a BSc, this will enable you to study to PHD level if you so wish. Why limit yourself to very few Universities in UK and US when you can just convert to BSc and have the option of going for Masters anywhere in the world. HND is not a crime but a serious mistake. The whole of Europe, Shenghen, Asia, South America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and even Africa doesn't accept HND for MSc, I'm an HND graduate too so I ain't discriminating!!! It's time to face the reality, convert your HND to BSc and move on ![]() |
wentroublecomes:Southwestern University of Nigeria, it's 4 semesters done in a Year, I started this month and I will finish next year July. SUN is NUC accredited and globally recognized. The University has campuses in Sagamu and Ikeja. Just google Conversion program in Southwestern University of Nigeria and you will get all the information you need, though a bit expensive but you can pay in installments. |
SouthSultan:Hmmm, I really don't mean to discourage you but I have gone through this phase before that's why I resorted to HND-BSc conversion. Even with many years of experience and PGD you won't be given admission directly to an MSc program. But with a taught Masters you're good to go, I decided to do the conversion so that I will bury the HND Certificate and move on ![]() |
omobolarinwa1:HND holders can't secure admission to MSc directly anywhere in the world, better do a HND-BSc conversion in Nigeria now, I'm also a HND graduate and I have started my conversion program, hoping to finish next year August then I will start my Japa plans properly. |
