UAE should introduce strict measures to prevent those touts and criminals who come to 🇦🇪 to tarnish 🇳🇬 image.
They can't waste their resources to do our job for us, it's the Nigerian system that needs to ensure that a tout doesn't even obtain a Passport.
And those who obtained passports and decides to go abroad should be counselled by our immigration authorities at the airport and warned that if they commit a crime outside Nigeria, their passports will be revoked and will not be issued another one until after 10 years.

The UAE realized that our government didn't take the issue serious so they took matters into their own hands, if they lift the ban and Nigerians misbehave there again, they should enforce the ban again angry angry angry

Is it true that TEF format is about to change? And if so what are the changes we are likely to encounter. Please anyone with reliable information on TEF exam format change.

From what I gathered they will no longer have 60 questions in 40 minutes for Comprehension Orale. It will be 40 questions in 40 minutes. they will not use the section A,B,C and D format as we know it, instead they will use real recordings from tv5 monde, RFI and France 24. So one can no longer cram but must understand the recording and answer accordingly.

For comprehension ecrite , there will also be changes. Less number of questions but more long text questions.
The changes are said to take effect in October 2023.
Anyone with more information, please share
I suspected that it would get to this, they will make TEF or TCF harder to pass now.
They want people who have actually studied and lived in a francophone environment for like a year or more angry angry angry

It's true that we have poor leadership in Nigeria but a lot our youth lack the right attitude to leave in a sane and developed society.

If you are married to an EU Citizen, you immediately get residency permit that enables you to work and study in your spouse's country, so you're not suffering, even international students work and live well in the EU let alone spouses of an EU Citizen.

You seem to be very laid back in your reasoning huh huh huh

We can condemn the West all we want but they have the best Citizenship system across the world.

MY QUESTION HERE IS, I HAVE A BUGETTING OF WITHIN N800 - N1M FOR THIS, WILL THIS AMOUNT BE ENOUGH FOR ME TO ACHIEVE THIS THERE, WHILE I ALSO ENGAGE MY SELF IN OTHER SIDE HUSTLE? ,
I've not been to Cotonou before but I have some information from those who have been there.

1M is not enough for a year, you need a minimum of 2M, this will cover your accommodation cost, feeding and transportation costs.
You can enroll into Institute Francais du Benin.

You can only consider a budget of 1M if you have someone that will accommodate you for free for the whole of the year.

Go to Chile. Use one year to learn Spanish, apply and enrol into the easiest course you can handle. Five years you collect citizenship. But this depends on why you want to emigrate. To me, anyone above 40 should remain in Nigeria and plan his retirement. Those above 35 but below 40 should emigrate only on a work visa into a structured company.
Fair Enough
TravelRe: Japanese Visa And Travelling To Japan by babakb: 3:43pm On Aug 20, 2023
Gerrard59:
These are the issues. It is clearly stated in the Japanese embassy in Abuja (online and at the embassy itself) that applicants should steer clear of agents. That is clearly stated. No agent can issue anyone any sort of visa to come to Japan. It is not possible. That is an immigration law from the Ministry of Justice.

That agent would issue you a fake tourist visa, you get to Haneda or Narita Airport, where you would be detained and deported. Thus, you would be banned from entering Japan for ten years. Alternatively, you take it to the embassy, and you would be denied and effectively banned from every visa application for six months. Since the visa was fake, you are then technically shadowed banned from future visa applications even after the six months elapsed.

Also, you cannot work in the country with a tourist visa. It is mission impossible neither can you convert it to working visa.

I for Impossible. It cannot be converted. That is a lie.

Yes, you don't need an agent to run a visa application for entry into Japan. The embassy hates that agent thing. In fact, it is not possible as all applications must be submitted to the embassy by the applicant physically.

To get a work visa, apply to jobs in Japan via LinkedIn or Indeed. The issues with getting a job in Japan while outside are the language and skill set. Language in that most jobs that can work out the COE application at the prefecture immigration bureau require proficiency of the language since your colleagues would be Japanese. On the other hand, the jobs that are lenient regarding language proficiency tend to be mostly tech/IT jobs. So if you know how to code and pass leetcode tests, Japanese companies would go all the way to ensure you get the COE and come into the country. Then on, you begin to learn the language.

Alternatively, you apply to Japanese language schools (they are quite expensive), get a language student visa and come to study the language. You are eligible to work for 28 hours per week. There are jobs available. The student visa has a COE attached to it which is converted to the residence card. Without that card, you cannot apply for jobs or anything at all. See why tourist visas don't count? The issue with the language schools, especially regarding Africans, is that there is a rule that if the applicant is more than 30 years old, schools should not accept the person even if the person can pay. Or if it is five years since the person left the university or secondary school. Such an applicant would be denied admission into language schools. Why I am specific about Africans is because the majority of language school students came to Japan immediately after their secondary school or first degree. These are Chinese, Vietnamese or Indonesians. Some of them study Japanese in their home countries to N3 level before entering the country. That is another leniency - attain N3 level and the applicant's age or years after graduation is waived off.

N5 is the lowest while N1 is the highest.

Now, the best/surest route for an African anywhere between 25 - 32 is via graduate studies. Either the person comes in via graduate studies or as a research student. I already outlined both processes in previous pages. Please go through them.

Please I want to apply for job search visa. How easy is it to get a job within 120days and move on to the residence permit as a Nigerian that doesn't speak Portuguese
To be honest it will be extremely hard to get a job within 120 days without any knowledge of Portuguese in Portugal.

All these Job seeker visas introduced by EU countries are good but the applicants have to be careful not to go there and exhaust their hard earned savings within six months and come back to Nigeria pennyless.

My advice is: Learn Portuguese to an Intermediate level, to a level where you can write your CV in Portuguese, attend interviews, etc, Nigerians have an edge with this class of Visa because we are fluent in English, if only we will endure and learn the official language of the country we intend to immigrate to.

All the best wink wink wink

You are too judgmental, you ought to have known that the 2 years average time I indicated is for average Nigerians who don't have any significant travel history, It's obvious you're the one that doesn't know anything and yet you're misleading people here.

Read the testimony you posted above, the applicant has a valid US and UK Visa and also several expired Shenghen visas, of course people like that will get their Visit Visas in 2 months or less.

I repeat, the average Nigerian without any significant travel history will wait for an average of 2 years to get approval for Canadian Visit Visa.

That is so sad to here.
I don't even no how to get reliable immigration consultant to help me with work permit

Hmmmm
People aren't listening, The Canadian federal government and Canadian employers are not stupid angry angry angry

The system in Canada ensures that people already in the country with full working rights are employed before processing work permit for foreigners, for example:
Citizens and Permanent residents
New permanent residents and their spouses
Refugees with protected status
International Students
Post graduate work permit holders
Spouses of International Students in Canada
Spouses of Temporary work permit holders in Canada.

All these categories of people already have working rights in Canada, so why would the Canadian employers bother to employ foreigners from outside Canada and go through the hassles of processing work permit huh huh huh Why would the Canadian government give significant quota to work permit for foreigners when these categories of people are increasing in numbers and can fill the labour gaps in the country, Immigration consultants will only rip you off of your hard earned money, they can't beat the system.

The only way to have a chance to secure a job in Canada from outside is if you're a highly qualified and experienced
Medical Doctor
Registered Nurse
Nurse Aide
IT Professional
Advanced Bilingual ( English & French ) in any profession.

No short cuts to Canada cheesy cheesy cheesy

Lies!! Who told you this? I have people who are studying in UK and US with their HND, don't let it look as if HND is a Crime.
Only very few Universities in UK and US accepts HND for Masters directly, the rest of the world doesn't accept HND for MSc so what's the point, besides it's better to convert to a BSc, this will enable you to study to PHD level if you so wish.
Why limit yourself to very few Universities in UK and US when you can just convert to BSc and have the option of going for Masters anywhere in the world.
HND is not a crime but a serious mistake.
The whole of Europe, Shenghen, Asia, South America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and even Africa doesn't accept HND for MSc,
