Business / Re: Naira Maintains Steady Falls As Speculators Scoop Dollars by Babalegba(m): 10:46pm On Apr 26 |
idahme:I think that it is the responsibility of the government to know when to talk and when to be silent. It's called leadership. Not everything can be communicated to the proletariat Many times you tell your wife about something only after the incident has passed and you've dealt with it. Anyway nigerians need some sense so maybe we need an economic meltdown and naira at one million to one dollar get some sense. |

Fujiyama:When you invest in a volatile market and the general manager of the market says that he would do nothing to protect your investment, you would get worried and pull out because the assumption all along was that Nigeria is doing a managed flotation. I do pity Nigerian children but the adults deserve all the suffering they get, they are greedy, selfish, callous self inflated retards who pretends to be intelligent. One million to one dollar might get some sense into their vacuous heads. Let's pray for that. 3 Likes |

derecho:Obedients caused this particular problem. They kept mouthing off that Cardoso is using foreign reserves to shore up the naira. They got very loud so Cardoso had to deny which spooked the market . Nigerians are their own worst enemies but guess what nigerians deserve all the hardship they get so naira can as well go to one million to one dollar. Retard nation 4 Likes 2 Shares |
Business / Re: Increased Demand For Dollar Causes Naira To Depreciate To 1,420/$ by Babalegba(m): 4:30pm On Apr 26 |
Nairalander248:Presently,there are market distortions but it will still not get to 2000 .Cardoso should have kept his mouth shut about not defending the naira but he talked because of the accusations of some nigerians. Nigerians are the worst enemies of Nigeria, but still the reforms are yet to kick in and refineries are not yet working. It means that the economy is yet to start firing. When things are in place we should see a huge fundamental turnaround for the naira . No shaking. |

Olamak1:Nigeria is not the only country presently affected by high dollar rates. The american economy has done so well that the figures has put enormous pressure on the currencies of emerging nations, even Japan and the south Korean won has been adversely affected and China is not left out. Indonesia and Malaysia are having to intervene in the market while Portugal is pondering it. Nigeria will only be out of the woods when there is enough liquidity in the market, inflation is tamed and refineries are going full blast saving fx and bringing in fx. |

vanbonattel:I got rice, beans and fish for 800 in Abeokuta A bottle of coke made it 1100. It's absolutely impossible for you to get a portion of chips in the UK for a pound but I had a Nigerian meal for 800. |
Business / Re: What's Dollar To Naira Rate For Today? by Babalegba(m): 11:05pm On Apr 20 |
vanbonattel:Intelligence is about finding ways to reap maximum benefit from whatever hand you are dealt in life. All of them are thieves,in fact you cannot get to be a leader at governorship level in Nigeria unless you are a thief and have no respect for the masses. Think about this,if two governorship went to a juju man for fortifications and they were told to bring a human being for sacrifice. One man refused but the other man asked the juju man if he could bring two people so that the juju would work better. Who do you think will win. Don't be deceived. They are all thieves. |
Business / Re: What's Dollar To Naira Rate For Today? by Babalegba(m): 10:55pm On Apr 20 |
HopeUzodinma:Not possible unless the government start printing loads of money. The naira is currently undervalued and should be around 700 or so if not for corruption and the japa people. One dollar does not even get you a plate of chips in the US but 1300 gets you a decent meal here. Naira is going to appreciate because it's undervalued. 1 Like |

vanbonattel:You are talking to the wrong person mate. I lived in the UK for twenty five years,,got back and have a sizeable real estate business. I'm not worried about myself,my children are not even here. I just feel bad that nigerian children are going through hell not all of which is caused by the top people. Sadly Nigerians are not very intelligent. Intelligent people get behind whoever is repairing a country, offering support and encouragement, in Nigeria the losing opposition work against the government in power throughout their tenure. Years later when the opposition is in power then the other lot work against them as well resulting in a failed country. Nigerians are not intelligent, sorry. 1 Like |

vanbonattel:That question is irrelevant. Economies can be ruined by external and internal forces. In Nigerias case it was ruined by the ruling class and the proletariat. The relevant thing is what is being done to alleviate the sufferings of the poor. In China people who work against the economy are executed. I wish we could have the same thing in Nigeria |

vanbonattel:And what truth did you say. Would you recognize the truth if it is camped on your nose. Children are going to bed hungry and you want the economy ruined for some nefarious reason so Nigeria can become a joke for the rest of the world. I've now realized that Nigeria has no real hope because when the inhabitants of a country are not very bright then their country becomes inhabitable and a hellhole 3 Likes |
