the economy was stable when this government came in. Tinubu destroyed it with his useless policy
Nigerian economy has not been stable for the last twelve years or so to my knowledge. They've always used the fx reserve to shore up the imbalance and now they've run out of options.

You are very funny.Pls stop lying that it's because of obidient that made u support Tinubu . You have always been a supporter of APC . Don't lie that it's because of some faceless rant on the internet that made you vote in this disaster into power. Anyway, hope you have been given your APC subsidy card to purchase items from the market at a subsidized rate?

PDP are civil ! You make me laugh.. What was that bitter exchange of words btw APC and PDP after Jonathan lost the election ! Was that not when these hostile exchange of words started btw APC & PDP.. and the word wailing wailers was invented ? So they have suddenly turned to saint because a movement started supporting an Igbo man.

You talk as if you APC supporters are saint. You guys are equally vile and rude as the obidient. You insult one another and sometimes poke at the person of Peter Obi .

Oga, continue to support your Tinubu , who is now the President of Nigeria, while other supporters of other parties support theirs.

I thought you should be celebrating the success of your Tinubu and leave this bitter exchange of words in a faceless forum like Nairaland. Why are you still going about as if election is not yet over! Pls enjoy your renewed hope and let peace reign .
Yes I started supporting Tinubu because of all the abuse and vile attack he was getting from obedients. It was just too much.
PDP did abuse buhari, they called him pampas wearer and all that but the obedients were far nastier and I'm glad they lost. At one time I thought that they were just tribalists Nastiness should not be rewarded.
I didn't even vote on election day as none of the candidates appealed to me.

If Peter obi with all his success in the banking and business world cannot become the president of Nigeria, then the problem is Nigeria and not Peter Obi, there is something obviously wrong with Nigeria and not Peter obi.
Well you can try to console yourself but the fact of the matter is that the presidency is a marathon not a sprint that obi thinks it is.
Strategy and long term planning is needed to woo northerners and keep ipob in check but unfortunately obi is now in his sixties. It is good for Nigeria for obi to be politically active as it keeps Tinubu on his toes.

So to float FX they ban the trading venue not under government control

Tell me how price discovery occurs

You print NGN 30 Trillion out of think air and act surprised when people point out that naira should be trading at NGN7000 per USD on a money supply/ trade weighted basis

How can a porfolio investor trust to bring capital to such a country who insists on monopolizing FX supply

You can see the likes of Nestle, Dangote, BUA, MTN declaring massive FX losses

The next step is the massive retrenchments that usually follow such cost of finance losses, the Human resources are always used to pay for finance losses

when will this zoo government ever learn

With a big thief as President i'm not surprised

I am moving up my price target on NGN to 7000 in the next 18 months

Check my post i called USD/NGN at 2000 back when it was at 460

Most nigerians are evil without even being aware of it.

How can you distinguished btw an Obidient, Atiku , and other party supporters ? Every comment that goes against the APC govt is immediately seen as coming Obidients. B4, the fight used to be between APC and PDP but now there are no pdp supporters anymore abi? They have all suddenly disappeared and left the internet space for the obidient? Now everybody that does not speak the language of your party is seem as obidient..why ? Where are the pdp and other party supporters ? Where did they go..? Are you saying they have all turned to supporters of APC !
PDP supporters are actually more civil. The obedients are loud, vociferous, disruptive and generally rude.
In fact before I was not a supporter of Tinubu and didn't even vote as none of the candidates was any good. I started supporting Tinubu because of the unjust vitriolic attacks on him.
I thought Tinubu has been treated unjustly and unfairly.

Admittedly, things are bad. We have a lot of saboteurs in the system as well so it'll take more efforts than necessary to turn things around.

The bad times is not permanent. The best thing is to have a plan for surviving the next three months and be resolute.Hopefully Nigeria will turn the corner in the next three months.

Did you ever read his infrastructural investment policy? I did

Did you ever read his power reform policy? I did

Did you ever read his housing policy where it was revealed that Nigeria lacked 17 million housing units? I did

Come back to me after you go back and read these things
Anybody can formulate a policy but not everybody can implement a a working good one.
Jonathan and Buhari should tie for worst Nigerian presidents. His power reform is what is causing darkness today and the discos, his friends are giving out outrageous bills for the darkness while manufacturers have left the country. His friends are making money while Nigerians suffer.

GEJ administration was the first time I started caring about Nigeria politics in my adult life. I used to sit down and study his plans for Nigeria and his policies. Then I will discuss with my father later about it.

He had very great ideas for Nigeria. He made sure to site many projects in the north even though they hated him so much.

He did reforms on fertilizer distribution and have farmers cell phone to communicate with them.

India and other nations came to Nigeria because of him to study our agricultural reforms.

Chinedu, these your lies and deliberatel misinterpretations plenty o.Jonathan was the second worst Nigerian president after Buhari.

Its still early days but I think that even if they sell bag of rice 700k, some of the guys that prepared well will be eating good rice.

We knew the devil that was coming, so we prepared to survive him.

Op,
You are quite correct!
As armed herdsmen chase unarmed farmers from Katsina to Benue, to Akure, and Ebonyi, the federal government feigned ignorance of the real cause of shortages in food supply. Who is fooling who?
The people who aspire to be president in Nigeria are not problem solvers, they just want to be president to parade themselves as president of the country. All of them are like that, even the young sixty years old.
It is obvious that the armed herdsmen problem needs to be solved but they are all pretending that the problem does not exist.
A lot of farmers are presently not working because of the problem and starvation looms for the country unless the matter is tackled.
There used to be problems in the area I visited yesterday until about four years ago. One herdsman was killed and since then everyone has been staying in his own lane and there has been peace.

You are just a dyed in the wool tribalist......Igboho your yoruba brother nko? is he not an agitator, the hundreds and thousands of Boko haramists released by the army every year have they set nigeria alight? What annoys me most about these tribalists of agbado origin is that they wave their tribalism around like a flag without shame nor remorse! ndi iberibe
You are too excited to label me a tribalist so you didn't read my post properly .lol. I wrote that the agitators are all miscreants and obviously that would include Igboho .They are all misguided dangerous rabble rousers and pose serious risk to lives and economic security of the country. If Igboho had faced only the fulani, he'd have been okay but his oduduwa republic rhetoric made him a miscreant.
As for Kanu, nothing good will come out only violent deaths and economic destruction for the south east. Some other ijaw guys.are already starting their own from nairaland. Nothing good will come out of it.

I do seven digits income monthly. God has heavily blessed me with contentedness so i dont need so called investments from two centers on the forum.

Southern Nigerian men rather blame everything than take action. There are millions of arable lands everywhere but fulani is blamed for everything.

My post today was justs to stimulate the ideas that black men are best suited for whinning and evading practical actionable engagements. The central ideas on the thread was that Fulanis are responsibke for famine . But i brought up issues about stimulating productivity and the truth appears. Southern Nigerian men rather wgine and complain than collaborate, come together and build societal transformative projecrs. That is the problem not fulani herdsmen
I'm sure you would have heard by now that many people have fallen for farming related scams in recent years ,in fact there was a really high profile one recently. That might be the reason why some people are suspicious. We live in a perfidious society

NB: I voted for P.O
So let no one accuse me of voting wrongly .

Garri is now expensive as well. You voted wrongly, this is Nigeria. Obi would have done worse
You have a short lived hunger to cope with now but with Obi,you would have hunger and civil war to deal with because he would have released Kanu. All the miscreants calling themselves agitators would have come out causing anarchy everywhere

Theres over 1,000 acres in my community. I occupy one of the nearest sites to a river. As i wroite, the fulani have mapped all lands close to river because they need their cows to have water. I have learnt to co exost with them
To be frank, pictures of day to day activities on the farm would help to attract investors. In Nigeria we live in a perfidious society where up is down and right is left. Many people have fallen prey to the dishonest scurrilous activities of scammers.
I'm sure potential investors will be more confident about the project when there are pictures involved

I'm actually presently already involved in one near Abeokuta. I was there yesterday and hence the topic.
I saw a lot of fulani herdsmen , their families and their dwellings there but to my surprise they were nice friendly people , get on very well with the locals and sold cheese to them.
The government needs to step in where the herdsmen are disrupting farming activities so as to avert a famine and keep people employed.
I saw a farmer using a hoe to make mounds to plant corn. I told him he was wasting his time and that ne should just get an ironsmith to make him a plough, put it on one of the cows or use a motorcycle and the job would be done in an hour instead of days.

It's very obvious to me that you have never run a business of your own before.

Why don't you leave the comfort of your salary employment and go take a bank loan to set up a business let me see if you will be so welcoming if someone tries to destroy that business by making careless and statement just because he/she is chasing clout on social media!
You are not getting the point. What the woman did was wrong but the erisco owner did worse by bending the law and justice of Nigeria to his will just because he has money and influence.
We should not strive for a lawless society where rich men can behave with impunity. Getting the I.G.P to lock her up is wrong and all right thinking nigerians should rise and condemn that kind of obvious comtempt for our constitution .
I've lived mostly abroad but did have a short lived business in Nigeria but the stealing there was just too much so I decided to concentrate on real estate.
A country where the rich can use the law to lock up citizens, harass them and beat them is not good. In Nigeria rich people use the police and army to do that.
I told the caterer that did my Christmas cooking not to bring in any erisco product and explained my reasons to her.
I believe all nigerians should participate in the defense of that woman and that her lawyers should give all nigerians the chance to crowdfund her defense so we can send a message to the influential Nigerians using the police and the army to bend our constitution to their nefarious will.

Taking a critical look at the current food shortages and the level of hunger pervading Nigeria. It is particularly shocking that the federal government is not doing enough to curtail the murderous and destructive activities of the fulanis herdsmen disturbing farming activities and reducing the nations food production.
How long will Nigeria continue to import food with scarce fx, employing other nation's citizens while our own unemployment statistics grows because of some selfish illiterate individuals.

since you are not a "deekhead" and your English comprehension skill is above subpar, am still surprised that you can't answer simple questions.

1. is it "at school" or "in school"?

but since you passed English comprehension in school and your teacher did very well, then you shouldn't find this question difficult to answer.

2. in what way has he impressed you?
Both questions were answered in my posts.Put your thinking cap on,,get your pen ready and cogitate on it for five marks.
