Flangelo12:Nigerians are creative enough as evidenced by their successes abroad. When I look at the broad Nigerian market,I see a lot of products made by optimistic entrepreneurs but I know that lack of electricity, stealing by staff and multiple extortionate taxation will not let them progress. We don't need to live on a par with the west but our children should not be going to bed hungry either as is happening under the present Tinubu government. Corruption has finished Nigeria and that was possible only because of the low quality of humanity indigenous to Nigeria |
Flangelo12:Nigeria has not always been a nation of two hundred million people, stealing has always been the bane of Nigerian society. The average Nigerian is poorly disciplined and lack control putting his hopes and fears on superstitions and prayers. At present Nigeria might not be able to give every citizen ten pounds sterling but they should at least be able to have a working refinery and competent low fee hospitals. Low quality human beings steal the common wealth while the higher quality ones rise above self interest. |
Flangelo12:I think that you should stop defending Nigerians with their propensity for self centeredness, self aggrandizement and corruption . Fact of the matter is that this gesture by the Guyanese government shows that they a better human beings than their Nigerian counterparts. In fact it could be that the Guyanese are better quality human beings than Nigerians.. That money is not even enough for one person to steal in Nigeria. |
The Guyanese government is to give each citizen 370 pounds sterling as their share of the country's oil weath. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/nov/06/guyana-cash-payouts-oil-wealth This is in sharp contrast to Nigeria where the government is taxing citizens left right and center. All citizens living in the country and those domiciled abroad are to receive the money. |
ValCon888:You were not brought up normally. Making rape jokes is sick |
Tinubu bankrupted Nigeria with his shortsighted economic policies. He is the wrong president for the times. Too intellectually lazy to tackle the problems so he takes proffered solutions from the world bank.Shameless man. |
senator282:Union Bank is doing up to 75dollars discount |
Bullfallo:Yes, on AliExpress just add the card. |
They should get at least 1 million naira each for the barbarous treatment they got from Tpain officials |
Bullfallo:Yes, the opay physical card and the virtual card |
Lol, so Tinubu is fully in charge of the economic train wreck. The man has no shame |
Opay now work internationally |
Putinofrussia:On the right track where. He cannot get things right even if he is given two hundred years. He is intellectually stunted. It's obvious his plans are not working and stood no chance of working in the first place |
Kennyflyair:Thanks, I'll keep opay in mind as an option but the rate is debilitating. |
Kennyflyair:Do I need the opay virtual card or the physical one. |
simpleseyi:Most of Nigeria did not vote for Tinubu,he came in because PDP foolishly fought among themselves. The S.E and rivers did not vote for him. Anyway,my main problem with him is that he is making yorubas look like incompetent fools . Giving Tinubu one million years will achieve nothing tangible as he is just too incompetent and unwilling to work. He is making yorubas to be the laughing stock which is very unfortunate. |
Jacobx007:Ditto |
Sharpsharp00123:Fact of the matter is that the nation cannot move forward under Tinubu even if he is given hundred years. Being Yoruba,it is hard for me to say but it's the unfortunate truth. Any progress will not be real but relative to the disaster he has caused. When you create an atmosphere for anarchy, then you should not be surprised when anarchy occurs. |
Sharpsharp00123:I can see that you are desperate to believe the lies levelled by the police against innocent Nigerians whose only crime is to protest against a vacuous economically illiterate apathetic regime who has caused widespread hunger and poverty with their primary school economics knowledge. Anyway the international disgrace is well deserved. Even a nation of neanderthals are more intelligent. Lack of shame is an animal attribute. |
Nigeria is actually worse than Sodom and Gomorrah. Nigeria is a perfidious country where corruption, kidnapping, cultism, rape injustice etc reigns. |
Linkzlikz:Lol,is Nigerian education really this bad. There is a difference between far right rioting and protesting against an incompetent government causing widespread hunger. Since you are so keen to use the UK as example, then why has Tinubu not resigned for destroying the economy after all Liz Truss resigned for tanking the UK economy. |
This current regime has achieved something previously thought unachievable, pauperizing Nigerians and causing widespread hunger in the land. Now they've added international ignominy to their tally. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/world/article-29-nigerian-children-may-be-sentenced-to-death-for-protesting-against/ Making Nigerians look like demented savages. |
Afonja44:Why do you hate your mother so much. Not all Nigerian mothers are like her |
Lol, trying to sell ebola to healthy people would fail |
We'll be praying for Tinubu to vacate Aso Rock. He is incompetent |
GreaterFuture:Lol,,all you are going to get is a picture of the furniture |
atobs4real:Especially Nigerians |
Many Nigerian nurses in the United Kingdom are in hot water for acing their tests in record times in ibadan,a feat they repeated later in the UK Problem is that UK authorities believe there is something sinister going on . https://www.theguardian.com/society/2024/oct/18/nigerian-nurses-urge-uk-minister-to-intervene-over-test-cheating-claims More than a hundred of them are now asking the UK health minister to wade in and absolve them of blames saying that the tests are just too simple. |
mctfopt:Nipost issues are very much dependent on location. If there's a thief working in your local post office, then things are bound to be going missing. |
Funniest thread ever on nairaland. |
GreaterFuture:They've never stolen my items at Abeokuta post office. |
supereagle:Negatively |
