I have been with them for four years now. So without my employer's bank statement, I don't stand a chance of getting approval? Pefuele: You will need your employer to provide a letter of support from their Bank and a Bank Statement for you. You will need both in your interview. How long have you been working with your employer? |

So, I have to get a Bank statement from my department and also my employer alongside the letters? Malone122: no you need both the letter ( probably stating why they choose to sponsor you )and definitely the bank statement |

Hello Nairalanders,
I currently hold an offer from a top US school with partial funding from my department. I have spoken with my employer and they have agreed to fund the rest of the fee. The school said I can just provide the letter from my employer to them to secure my I-20 without providing a bank statement. I would like to know if that same letter suffices for the Visa interview here in Nigeria alongside the partial scholarship letter from my department. |

I am 23 but still got a regret mail, so I totally don't get your point. rozdan: @ Enireqx20-FYI
Got this from a friend whose Bro works with PWC and I quote
“My Bro just gave me the insider info that the basis of regret mssg on the Tax apprenticeship was Age....Not more than 26”
The thing is,his younger brother wrote the test and also hit regret mail and he just turned 27 years. |

Ocon: All question asked will be based on your personality/attitude. No right or wrong answer... All you need do is read up PwC core values and align it with ur answer (Be consistent as much as possible) Example of question include: Do you like to Lead, Do you care for People, Do you like statistics, do you like new ways or old method, do you like being alone, do you like being Busy, are you a talkative and all Please, do you mind sharing the link to their main core values Thanks in anticipation! |

mcpat: Hi Thavybe,
Thanks for the mention.
@Babax200, I don't know if the format will change this year but last year it was an online shl question (much simpler than the GT SHL questions), then an OPQ. The next stage was a physical test at the office - Basic accounting, basic excel usage, basic tax questions , capital allowances viz annual allowance and initial allowance. If successful, you will be invited to a final panel interview.
You can go through the tax apprenticeship thread for more guidance
Hope this helps. Thanks alot for this |

Can you please share a link to the online OPQ test ?? Enireqx20: I studied their core values, took some mock OpQ online and also watched some YouTube videos. Also check for the traits of a good tax trainee or accountant. |

I just got a text from Pwc that I have been shortlisted for the test, I need your help from the kind of questions to expect. Thavybe1: I remember you at that EY 2017 thread. I don't know you personally, but when i saw your moniker on this thread, i was rooting for you. Congratulations!!!
For those that didn't get in, just continue to work hard, improve on your self, take professional exams while you job hunt and pray. It took some of us 10-15 regret mails to get that ONE success mail. There are loads of opportunities outside PwC, Keep at it!! |
