ratatis: @ Babe2sure. Yes, telepathy is very important to the extent that the US Govt has grant-aided investigations & The Russian Govt has, through books & magazines, revealed many of its findings on the subject & went as far as establishing an enquiry known as the " Popov Group ".
Telepathy is " experimentally established fact" as well as any scientific subject can be. Many scientists & philosophers are just afraid to accept the proofs because if they did, it will strike at the very base of the materialistic conceptions of Man. This attitude of not recognising the fact was castigated by Professor C. D. Broad, who said : " It is hardly necessary for me to reiterate my often expressed conviction of the extreme importance for Philosophy & Psychology of the well established results of psychical research, & my regret that most philosophers & psychologists are content to remain in ignorance of them. Telepathy, both simultaneous & precognitive is now experimentally established fact " .
Anyone who wants some definite "facts" about telepathy, will do well to read "Thoughts Through Space" by Sir Hubert Wilkins, who demonstrated practical telepathy with one Harold Sherman, even though they were CONTINENTS apart. These classic experiments which were carefully monitored & witnessed in sworn affidavits by some New York's most prominent citizens, one of whom was Dr. Gardner Murphy, the then Head of Psychology Department at Columbia Univ., proved 70% accurate & were widely reported in the popular press, at the time. Okay. Thanks for the enlightenment. |

The full blown ones the OP is talking about ----NO Partial albino --YES. Some partial albinos are very attractive. There was a teacher in my secondary school, two of her four children has partial albinism(a boy and a girl). They were so attractive, that I used to steal glances at them It is characterised by: light skin(not white like albinos own) but the eyes will look like albinos own, thou not fully. They do not lack pigmentation completely like full blown albinos. |

emeraldoe: It cud be in 3 ways- 1. God cud be showing u dat she is not faithful, 2. D devil may want to separate u frm ur right partner 3. It cud be as a result of ur thoughts which brought about the dreams. Advice- pray fervently and sleep then dream again. OP, she has given you the perfect answer. GBAM!!! One thing is, never disregard dreams. It is one of the ways God communicates to us. It tells us about things that may happen. Though, not every dreams, but then every dreams should be taken seriously, you don't know which one will come true.( I am talking from experience) In your own case, for the dream to occur 3times, God is giving you message there. What you can do is to fast for three days, pray fervently, tell God to reveal the mystery behind the dreams you had about her, then on the third day after praying and breaking the fast, sleep immediately so that God will reveal some things about her to you. And there lies your answer. |

Majority carry the vote . I will borrow it later when I don't have interesting book to read, just to get a glimpse of what they are talking about, since one man's meat is another man's poison. illicit: oh yeah really, my bad, thanks i will make correction, Rainmaker is by grisham, i will edit my post, bleacher sucks, its so boring, i have novels that are very dry but there is something captivating about them that i find it hard to dispose them, an example is The day of the scorpion by Paul scott, a very long boring novel but his characters are always unusual... Stephen king has a way of making an ordinary event or story fascinating, an example is the Runner, the body/fall from innocence, seems you are an avid reader like me, about storyline it dont matter in the work of some writers, it would bore an average reader for example Ernest hemmingway's novels, i love grisham, the Pelican brief was his first novel i came accross, i made the mistake of lending bleachers to a friend i was encouraging to read Grisham, d next day the guy nearly swore for me lol, i had to go get him a copy of the rainmaker for compesation, recommend me a writer please Before I buy or borrow any novel, I normally check the ratings on google. When Grishams books was rated by a particular avid reader, he rated 'The bleachers' last. He said, 'it sucks and does he want to spoil his career with that one'? That was when I got to know that it sucks. But to me, we can still excuse him, they always have their bad days. As per dry novels being captivating, I think some of Grisham's novels fell into that category, I mean his choice of words is windy- complicated and it does not make easiest read, but yet it will be interesting at the end. That is why it normally take me more time to finish Grisham's novels compared to others. My best of his books is 'The firm' You got me cracking my ribs with bleachers that you borrowed your friend. Mary Higging books Jeffery Archer books- most especially Kane and Abel Leon Uris- Exodus Scott Turrow- Presumed Innocent Truman Capote - in cold blood Thomas Harris- the silence of the lamb I have not read Ted Dekker though, but they said his books- blink, black, red and white are quite good. If you are into emotional books, you can check my thread 'BOOKS THAT MADE YOU EMOTIONAL'. |

ratatis: Yes. Not easy to explain it in terms of "Classical Physics" where the model of the universe is based on 3-dimensional plane in which time is "linear". However, startling correlations are increasingly being observed in the areas of Sub-Atomic Physics, Bio-Physics, Paramedicine, etc, etc, which is giving rise to some provocative theories. In some experiments, even plants have been observed to react to the thoughts of any person who " intends" to harm them, well in advance. Some researchers are teaching humans how to communicate with Dolphins through Thought Transference (a.k.a. telepathy) using some instruments. And many other researches, both for good & bad, are going on. Nice contribution. Yes, in as much as researchers have not be able to unravel the mystery behind having telepathic thought towards another, they will not rest on their oars, until they uncover the causes, significance and developing experiments on their subject matter. Telepathy is a deep subject matter, very very deep. I give it to them, they have got such inquisitive mindset. I actually watched documentary on 'relating with Dolphins through 'thought transference', years ago. I was awe-struck by it. But, its still a work-in-progress stuff. |

illicit: Any John Grisham novel are good except THE BLEACHERS, he fell hand on that one, Hadley Chase's novels are classics anytime. Mario puzo's Godfather All Robert Ludlum and so many other writers i cant remember their names now Pls i implore you to read Stephen kings a.k.a Richard Bachman's novels, this guy is a drunkard in real life but knows how to scare or amuse u, try his The Rainmaker, The Stand, Carrie, Cujo, Salems lot, The Shining, Creepshow, The shawshank redemption (adapted into dat movie Prison break), Firestarter, Skeleton crew, The Tommyknockers, Different Seasons (a combination of 4 interesting novels, apt pupil, rita hayworth and the shawshank redemption, the body, the breathing method.) I read writers not just random books, some of my best writers are Sidney Sheldon, John Grisham, Stephen king, Dean koontz, Terry kay, Richard wright, Agatha Christie, Chinua Achebe, Robert Ludlum, Mario Puzo etc i dislike Danielle steele or those cheesy predictable love and romance tales there were a lot of novels i read when i was younger but dnt care abt the author or title then, i really miss them now but have no way of getting them back now, STEPHEN KING books are my reccomendation for you boboyekini almacherish babe2sure omavik 2scorehigh deife sometimes its not even all about the storyline but how versed, crafty and sensible and how committed the writer is Thanks for the recommendation. I have actually heard of Stephen kings novels 'It' and 'The green mile' but I have not got around to read any of his novels, though, I have it in mind. I still have loads of novels I have but have not read. But, anytime I am ready to read him, I will surely refer to this page. You made mistake there 'The rainmaker' was written by John Grisham not Stephen Kings, I have read it. I read writers too not just any random books cos normally if a writer is good you will always want to read more of his/her books. I don't agree with your last post. No matter how good a writer is, he/she will experience 'Writers Block' or 'his bad day' which may make them write rubbish. I.e John Grisham books (the bleachers and A painted house) which people complain about. If you had known 'the bleachers' is not interesting I don't think you would have gone ahead to read it. You see..... Storyline is everything. It matters irrespective of who wrote it.. |

She is not saying the whole truth so that she will not be tongue-lashed. The story does not add up.
However,I have reservations about putting one's number on facebook. Exposing it to every Tom, Dick and Harry. You can't be too careful. Anyone that wants to contact you can always message you and if you are comfortable with the person, then you can give him/her your number.
Those who did have their reasons though. I dunno.... |
