To save money this year go to a regular church that already has a building so you don't fund one grin

If he comes up with any projects ignore him
Save at least 20% of your own salary monthly
Start a business
Give to the poor
Don't allow an up and coming scammer use you start business
Avoid every church program with funny themes and avoid anyone that gives prophecy or tells stories
If you are in a mega church leave and find a small place that preaches a wholesome message
Develop a personal relationship with God,study the bible
Give to those in need
When you go to any program and they ask for seed sit tight nothing will happen
Make up your mind what to give as free will offering and take only that to church
Sow no seeds and make no pledges

I promise this time next year you will testify

I applaud Nigerian youths.
The responses here show this generation is waking up and will not make the mistakes their parents make/made by funding these bottomless pits,and their unending projects.
They are building wealth with your money.Wake up and start building yours

2019 is a new year.Dont fall for any seed sowing,first fruit,tithing,prophet offering,sacrificial sacrifice,nehemiah or Jeroboam offering or whatever they decide to start .
It's all a scam for their increase and a drain on yours
Don't fund any building projects or schools for them.
Money responds to laws of money
You get increase by starting a business venture or working a job and when your production increases your money will increase all things being equal .
You don't sit in church and give money to a smooth talking charlatan and money comes.
The pastor is wealthy from collecting from you,he is not sowing anything to anyone because he knows it doesn't work

Live not live in opulence or collect 10% tithe and January salary.
If they can't make it by a freewill offering then it's not our business
When they decide to build domes they are on their own,Paul didn't build any,his concern was always the poor not hi's jet
I also showed you that Paul worked to provide for himself and others and didn't burden the people.
The pastors in Nigeria are a huge burden to the people and their progress.

Salvation is free, the early Christians contributed money to take care of everyone in their fellowship not just the apostles, and this wasn't from tithe or first fruits. The bone of contention here is the manipulation and coercion by the preachers we have today. If someone contributes 100naira in church, as you have been deriding in your previous posts, he is doing it out of his freewill. It is not your place to tell him how to contribute or place curses as mines for him to avoid. If he also chooses to give it to widows or prisoners, please restrain your greed and mind your business. Churches are not agencies that should be paid before getting access to God.

In the new testament emphasis on giving was always to thr poor.
That's what the Bible says,today the pastors receive all manner seeds to enrich themselves
They get richer the people get poorer
You don't need to give a dime to any pastor to be wealthy .If tithing makes you rich,Nigerian church goers will be the wealthiest
