How it works

The project objective behind ForteReg.com is to create a global information database of personal stuffs, gadgets and other items such as to deter people from stealing them. Once this is achieved, you really don’t have to lose your stuffs anymore. ForteReg.com is a global e-warehouse where you could register/e-warehouse your valuable stuffs free of charge. So take the first line of action in securing your stuffs and live a worry free life.
Individuals or Corporate bodies are encouraged to create an account today and start adding their gadgets, laptops, camera & stuffs etc on the platform. Navigating the website is very simple and easy to use.

So when you buy a new or pre-owned stuff or gadget and you are not yet registered, you are required to visit our site and do that now.
Log on to www.fortereg.com and get started.
When registering your gadgets, you can either add all serial number of your gadget, or first 4 and last 4 numbers, of last 6- 8 numbers of your gadget serial/IMEI. Same applies to other equipment and devices.

A typical example, you can search a given gadget Serial Number: 35210416 or a Car's serial number 800700600500, and see how exactly what you get when you have you stuffs registered.

When you have signed on, your stuffs are fairly safe and may never be stolen.

WHEN YOU LOSE YOUR GADGET/ASSET.

When you lose your item, you simply log on to your account, click on the item already registered on our database, and click on “Report” and then write a report about the missing asset and save. Be sure to highlight your gadget details, and contact phone number and email. This report appears on the front page of the fortereg.com alerting the general public out there to watch out for such items. Obviously, this could facilitate the recovery of your lost items within a short time or it would make it difficult for that item to be resold out there.

You can also send priority email to: helpdesk@fortereg.com or BB PIN 79E04794 and we will highlight the missing item via emails and sms messages.

Please read our FAQ(s)

Yoney007: Dear Nairalanders;

This is to inform the general public especially my clients and prospective clients that I was robbed of my Created M7 Phablet with BBM Pin : 748AE129, my Nokia 202 with phone number : 08036965028, my ROMOSS sense4 power bank, my access bank Visa card and other valuables at about 4:10pm 26-07-2014. I cannot possibly retrieve or block any of the missing items especially my MTN line & ATM Card since its weekend and also there is public holidays scheduled for Monday & Tuesday. I rely on Wednesday to sort these out. Am practically thrown offline but would still find way to update my threads here on nairaland so please direct all inquiries here to the appropriate thread.
Please don't let any unscrupulous scavenger use my loss to swindle you in the name of TYCONCEPTS.

Happy Sunday.
Sorry bro, I feel your pain. But seriously you will not be able to recover those items. Do you know the serial number, IMEI numbers??

I guess you don't have them. Anyway, when next you buy new ones, please register them on fortereg.com, it is a website designed to as a deterrent site for would be gadget thieves. You register with your serial number and IMEI of your gadgets.

If you had registered them, our job is to blast emails, and SMS to alert people out there not to buy items with such serial numbers, and I fact contact the nearest police station is they meet anyone with items bearing those information.

So eventually, the culprits either get caught or they wouldn't be able to sell the items, because that is their final motive, selling to get some coins.

Register today at www.fortereg.com

Have some peace of mind.

Talk of muslims throwing bombs since 1800 in the name of islam, I dust my yash for islam, what a religion. Shame upon everyone who justifies this bomb throwing and killing of innocent people. No matter the grievance, no matter the insults or negative comments, no one has any right to take anyone's life, be it for religious or political sake. Muslims/islam should free the world please, stop this act of terrorism, we need absolute peace.

MoneyGreen: We Condemn the Unwarranted Attack on Muslim Brothers In Zaria.

Friday 25-07-14 is a sad day, akin to a black Friday, in which some security agents of the federal republic of Nigeria, soldiers by the khaki they wore, gunned down, as at the time of writing this press release, 13  Innocent fasting Muslim brothers,

who were peacefully voicing their discontent with the unfortunate massacre of Palestinians by Israel. Zaria residents are a witness to the peaceful nature of the procession which took off from Sabon Gari Jumaat mosque up to its termination point at Kofar Doka, Zaria City.

Nobody was molested let alone his property. Infact the leader of the procession was delivering his speech, when some soldiers attacked the participants of the procession who were at PZ Junction in Zaria. In the ensuing melee, 10 people were killed by the soldiers, 40 were shot and now receiving treatment. And among the killed is a Muslim Sister together with her child on her back and the son of Shaikh Zakzaky, Mahmud Ibraheem Zakzaky. Also among those shot by the soldiers are two Muslim sisters. Not only that, the soldiers went away with 3 children of Sheikh Zakzaky, namely Ahmad, Hameed and Ali.

As of now their whereabouts is still unknown. We vehemently condemn this vicious atrocity committed by the soldiers on us. Why should we be attacked? Whom did we provoked during the peaceful procession? Who authorised this attack? Who participated in the attack among the soldiers? These are some of the questions the security operatives in the state need to answer us and the public.

Also we demand the unconditional release of Sheikh Zakzaky's children in soldiers custody and other Muslim brothers they might be holding. And should anything happen to them, we will hold the authorities responsible! This is not the first peaceful procession carried out by Muslim brothers in Zaria. In fact due to its peaceful nature residents in Zaria don't consider it as an unusual event that calls for caution. Another proof of the peaceful nature of the procession is the fact that it was staged today in Kaduna, Kano, Sokoto, Katsina, Potiskum, Jos, Bauchi, Gombe, and many other towns in Northern Nigeria and all ended peacefully. So why should the one in Zaria be an exception? The authorities should explain. The casualty figures might increase, God willing we will keep the public informed of the Transgressor in Nigeria.

Signed ABDULHAMID BELLO

Below is Sayyid Mahmud Zakzaky killed by the soldiers in Zaria, and some of the martyrs.
shut up your stinking mouth, what ever your name is, I can see how sick you are. It shows clearly that you all are terrorist. The government is still trying to contain boko haram and you and your deranged terrorist elements are trying to create more chaos which will certainly give your boko haram brother a better leverage to attack innocent people and the military.

Why are you protesting Isreal and palestine, I can see that you are happy Hamas your terrorist brothers are busy sending rockets into Israel not minding if it lands in a hospital or play grounds or even market, now that Israel is fighting back, you people are making noise. As far as your protest is in support of hamas, the military will kill all of you.

if hamas is sent out of Palestine, there will be fresh peace in Palestine, but as long as hamas keeps telling your sick Palestinian muslims what to do, you people will not have rest.

By the way, where is the Palestinian president, has he been bullied away by hamashuh? just asking. Mr. Bello, you make me laugh. Go and get a job and stop supporting global terrorism.

viruses are just too stupid, they infect and invade their host, and then kill it, not knowing that if their host is well contained before & after death, that will be the end of the virus.

RIP to the young man. May God grant his rest.

This is sad.

Sambisa ke, the fool can't even go to Maiduguri
Did I just hear you call your father a fool? You are a wasted sperm and should be castrated for calling your president a fool. It is only in this country that an idiot like you who cannot even pass common employment interview is called a president a fool. I don't blame you, I blame the internet for hiding your useless face, you should be ashamed of yourself. That man you call a fool today is still the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, you simply are no body in the history of this great nation. There you are sited in your dirty home, typing away your sorrows with an old mainframe cum-pukter you call laptop. Shm

If you care so much about the girls in Sambisa, what are you waiting for? You can join danjuma who is calling on his president to wear uniform and take up arms to lead the way into Sambisa, I think he should rephrase his comment unless he has a sinister motive. Presidents don't go to war, they give the commands & codes to Generals to carry out special military operations. I believe retired general T. Y. Danjuma knows better. The last time I checked, Mr. President already did that long time ago.

idupaul: What aircraft do they have to carry out precision bombardments . Story story
Shut up your mouth and stop typing pooooh. I don't get you, now the military is doing something, you complain, they don't do anything, you'll complain. What is your business with the type of aircraft they use? Even if they use witchcraft (LOL) to carry out the attack, at least they are taking some positive steps. Do you manufacture jet fighters in your village? If you do please provide them better jet fighters. But if you don't, then stop typing rubbish about the Nigerian military, it's uncalled for. Please free Nigerian military, they need encouragement and not this kind of comments from you.

No wonder the military gets angry in the public when they are harassed by civilians in any little way. You guys never see anything good in them, you always see them in negative light and it's vice versa, whatever you don't value don't also value you.

Thanks Nairalanders for being there. I called my brother few minutes ago, the ticket has been withdrawn. He went to Alausa with someone who knows some people there and the issued was thrashed. He has gotten a mechanic and his car is being fixed right now. He only paid 3K for towing because the distance wasn't that much. Well, I really appreciate what you guys are doing. However, I have noted the numbers on screen, just in case something like this happens again. Please we all have to be alert, always have your phone cams ready and be on the right side of the law to stand your grounds in event of such act from some over-zealous government officers.
Autos › Lastma Impounds My Brother's Car. by babestella(op): 2:57pm On Jul 10, 2014
Yesterday, my brother's car engine suddenly stopped working along Gbagada Oshodi expressway. So he veered off the road and came down to checked the car. He noticed that his cars alternator belt just got cut. Obviously he was alone in the car, and while he looked around to call for help, Lastma town vehicle appeared. The next minute they accused him of obstructing traffic and towed his car to their office at Oshodi expressway.
He was given a ticket to pay 50,000 naira.

Now my question is this:

1. Is lastma justified in issuing him a 50K ticket?
2. Why would they impound his vehicle instead of helping him tow the vehicle to a nearby mechanic who can replace the alternator belt for him a a fee.

When he called me yesterday, I thought of getting a lawyer to fight this with Lastma, i don't care how long, but this is certain exploitative and inhumane on the guy. Up until now the car is still there and if it is not released by end of today, I will get an attorney to sue Lastma for abuse of power, office and violation of basic human right.
Please I need the commissioner of transports contact. I want to know if it is legal to issue a ticket to a guy whose car suddenly developed technical issues along the highway. Please guys help. I need contacts. I have asked my brother to get me the names of those holding his car asking him to part with 50K, I hope he is able to get it.

Until the palestanian government expel Hamas from its government, they will never enjoy any peace in that region. Hamas is a terrorist group, and they mean no good for any human or country. I just heard Hamas political leader speaking on CNN, where is the palestanian president? Who is in-charge of the palestanian state, is it the people or the terrorist group, Hamas.

Israel have asked palestanian authorities to purge its cabinet of Hamas officials, they refused. But we all know that those firing more dozens of rockets to Israel are Hamas terrorist group. Israel cannot fold their hands and watch some terrorist fire bombs to their land. They must retaliate, and in such circumstance, there must be civilian casualties because Hamas are experts are using humans as shield.

Politics › Re: Governor Fashola Condemns Military Attack On BRT by babestella: 4:00pm On Jul 05, 2014
iwonbaoko: Guy stop speaking from both sides of your mouth "you are not in support but.........." But what? What kind of reasoning is that.
Is this the first time soldiers or other military personnel are assaulting civilians or even police.?? Are you new to the country.
The simple issue is that our military personnel lack discipline and are NOT TRAINED on how to relate to civilians, civilian populations and civil institutions. More importantly at the back of their minds is the KNOWLEDGE that there WILL BE NO CONSEQUENCES for their actions.
You seem to be suggesting that somehow it is right to take the law into one's hands, that mob action, vigilante justice is right.
There is no need to focus on the behaviour of BRT drivers in this case . Whatever might have happened and we have not seen any authoritative reports on that we must have the RULE OF LAW. We cannot have the RULE OF MIGHT.
None of those countries which we would like to emulate would tolerate this. Even if a soldier is gunned down the maximum I would expect is to arrest a suspect. Why harass and beat members of the public? Why burn public property?. Training is a repetitive process in any successful organization.Personnel need to imbibe the right culture and attitudes. The culture of our military is one of indiscipline, impunity and disregard for civil authority. This needs to change and there is need for a long term strategy on how to achieve this.
Guy, you couldn't have said it better. In my post, I never suggested that the actions of the military was justified, I do not support what they did much less backing their actions. I know they are totally disrespectful towards the general public/civilians. I don't particularly like uniform personnel, but my submission is such that action calls for an action, if the BRT bus driver had taken some cautious steps in the cause of discharging his own duty, this chaos too would have been averted. A man who knows how dangerous lions are would wisely avoid their den, it's a case of walking into a lions den and expect the lions not to react. We all know how bullish and disrespectful our uniform men are, do we go on testing their ego?

I mind the way I approach armed policemen because he does not have respect for human life, neither does he value any, he could take anyone's life and the police authorities will try to cover the case. We all know what is obtainable in our dear country.
Politics › Re: Governor Fashola Condemns Military Attack On BRT by babestella: 12:17pm On Jul 05, 2014
We are quick to blame our soldiers. I am not in support of what the army did, but the question we should be asking is what led to this chaos. If the soldiers reacted this way, there must be a cause.

Have you ever had a close experience with a BRT bus driver? The BRT driver don't care who you are or what car you drive, they will run you over. I had a close shave with one at the stadium intersection coming, guess what? I waited for the green light to pass me and when it did, i moved on, before getting into the intersection, a BRT that was supposed to obey the traffic light, never bothered, he came straight on towards my car at full speed. I had to step on my gas to move swiftly because he was just ready to run my car over. I shouted out like "don't you obey the traffic light? he verbally abused me in his language and moved on. I was shocked to my marrow. That was not the first time, I have seen where a BRT ran a lady's car on that same intersection about 3 to 4 months ago, it really damaged the lady's car, and people Thanked God for saving the woman's life, it would have been a different story today. Anyone who lives in Surulere can attest to this, because it really caused terrible traffic issue that morning. BRT drivers are completely and irresponsibly reckless. Same goes with some white buses with an inscription "Owolowo" Their drivers are always drunk on cheap alcohol and lots of weed.

So I think the cause should be addressed in depth. If a BRT drivers sees a soldier driving or riding a motorbike on BRT lane, he doesn't need to run him over just to prove a point, this life we live is only but for once, it has no duplicate, if you take someone's life, you should expect a violent reaction from his sympathizers much less a soldier for that matter. Please let's start addressing real issues here and not just say things because we have access to a computer and the internet.
