Tbliss12:The worst is that when people have resolved to comit suicide in a bid to kill others it is often difficult to handle, and that is why it is called Terrorism. You can't identify them, they are all around the town walking around between normal people. You can imagine how a man could walk to where people had queued up to withdraw money from ATM and detonate the bomb he is carrying. Why? what is their motive? It goes beyond monetary reward, it is an ideology perpetrated from their religion and from their holy book which they often misinterpreted. Let them continue, God is watching. |
Mogidi:THIS IS GROSS, GMB IS UNDOUBTEDLY EITHER A DIRECT OR INDIRECT SPONSOR OF TERRORISM. THE IS NOT DOUBT THAT IF THIS 72 YR OLD MAN IS GIVEN A CHANCE, WHAT WE HAVE GOING ON IN IRAQ WILL BE CHILD'S PLAY. APC presenting this man obviously do not mean well for the future of NIGERIA. Shariaaaaaa all over NIGERIA ? This is outrageous. |
ZKOSOSO:APC is just an extension of the Muslim brotherhood in Nigeria. They are all gang of Islamic terrorist seeking evil agenda in Nigeria. Never trust a terrorist or anyone who has affiliation with terrorists anywhere in the world. These goons cannot be trusted with the future of NIGERIA. It happened in Egypt, the Egyptians thought they needed a change at all cost, so the voted Morsi into power, today we could see what has become of Egypt. Why did his happen, because Morsi is of MUSLIM brotherhood and felt that the interest of his terror organization surpasses that of the nation of Egypt. But today he is in jail. We don't want that to happen in Nigeria because if these APC goon manages to grab power (which will never happen) then Nigeria is finished. If we can expunge religion from our constitution, then Nigeria will go a long way as a nation. |
omenka:Who knows who you are? You never cease to show the world how stupid you are by disrespecting your president. It's a shame that you cannot make decent comments without showing how much of a decayed pooh you are. Your education was a waste, should had been given an almajiris type of education so that you can fully inter-relate with your Boko brothers & their agenda. |
eedriyz:Shut your trap, slowpoke is what I call you. I personally don't like it when people from other region think that others cannot lead the country. Why so much hatred for GEJ? Is it because he is from the south south? what if he was from Kano, will any of this useless almajaris or even the Yorubas hate him this way. All this ranting is just because the rest of the country hates anyone from the south south or south east. No wonder the senseless killings of IGBO in the north and Yorubas never condemned that act. Everyone irrespective of tribe and religion deserves a chance & support to lead this nation. It is not the exclusive right of any region please. He might not have done well as we are always made to understand, but you can rule out the fact that he has also done well in some areas apart from security and tackling corrupt officials. He is not the worst president we've had. OBJ's government was adjourned the most corrupt during his tenure, did you call for his head? Over 16 billion dollars on power sector which ordinarily would have improved electricity supply in Nigeria, do you have electricity in your home today. It was a total fraud. Ministry of petroleum was under him (OBJ) yet we had serious chaos in the petroleum sector, he never build 1 refinery for the 8 years he was there. Did you call for his head? No. GEJ decided to privatize the power sector because the decay was abysmal. what happened to all abacha loot that was returned during OBJ's tenure? "Insecurity every, GEJ is to be held responsible" that statement resonates everywhere in the country today by people who don't even have any idea on how to solve that same problem. Who were the people who ran to amnesty international to accuse GEJ of genocide when he flooded the north east with the military and declared state of emergency in 3 northern states? Are they not the northern elders who today cry and shout that GEJ is incompetent. The much you can do as a human being is to support him so that he can deliver. Stop sending almajaris to bomb the north and then turn around to cry insecurity in the nation and blame GEJ. If you can push a man forward towards his goal, don't pull him down. GEJ means well for this country. |
NgeneUkwenu:That is how gullible and naive you are. Easily deceived by what they see. No wander we have lots of almajaris who only act by sight because they lack skull not to mention brain. He will dump you at the last minute. Wait and see. |
1. 75% of federal projects are done in the north yet they cry fowl 2. The northerners have more states and local government councils in Nigeria. The implication is that any project they don't want executed in the southwest or south east they don't support at the National Assembly. 3. During ObJ tenure, the bill for the construction of the second bridge was frustrated and never got any support from the northerners who are more in the house supported by the southwest out of share love for the IGBO/southeast. 4. Based on flimsy excuses, uncle Fash deported people from the south east and dropped them all at the Niger bridge. Too much love for the IGBOS and south east. 5. The first time someone from the nations resource pot is leading this nation and someone from the north promised to make the nation ungovernable for him. Haba why? If not for anything, GEJ deserves all the support he needs to move this nation forward, but no, the north and southwest rather pull him down just because he is from the south south and they don't want him there because they in the north are born to rule. There are many more, is it killing of IGBOS even right from the civil war and after, the riots in Kano, kaduna and north generally are all targeted at the IGBOS. So tell me, is it the Tyranic Buhari who is an Islamist, a coupist that the IGBOS will vote for? Or it is Fashola who has only shown IGBOS the tip of what's coming if eventually they grab power. My friend, let's not deceive ourselves, there is no one NIGERIA, the military had already positioned their people to have a say in politics and decisions taken in this country. They don't like anyone but themselves alone. Stop deceiving yourself drumming support for Buhari, he is a tyrant. Look for a better candidate but not Buhari. IGBOS will not vote APC if Buhari is presented. Moreso, what's wrong in supporting GEJ, the first time a Niger deltas will lead, I think he deserves all the support and encouragement to at least serve for 8 years without anyone promising to make any part of NIGERIA ungovernable for him. He is trying, there are positive things about him too. No one is perfect. During OBJ, over 16 billion dollars was spent in power sector, and today we still don't have electricity. Did anyone call for OBJ's head? Benin - ore road was a total mess, people traveling to east during Xmas spent days on that road. But today, the story is different. How much did OBJ spend on refineries, do we have refineries working today? No. Yet OBJ was in charge of petroleum ministry and power. Let's stop this tribal sentiment so that NIGERIA can stand please. If GEJ was supposedly from Kano, would Buhari and the north make his government ungovernable? Wouldn't he drum up support for him. Coming to the pictures, it is that bad and even in south west, the problem is not with GEJ, it is with the National Assembly where projects bills are sponsored, mentioned and passed for execution. The northerners are more in number, the south is devided and so much hatred towards the south east. How do we veto any capital project meant for the south. Please people should wake up. |
Arch1:Please respect that office. If you know what the office of the president really is, you will not write that rubbish you just wrote now. I will excuse your ignorance because people like you graduate from school with empty reasoning faculty. Well, what are you waiting for, can't you join the prison service and be a defender of the prisons, or you want Mr. President to turn himself to Clark Kent (superman). please sell your laptop and buy books that will help your thinking faculty. |
experimentist:Islamist looking forward to entrench sharia in Nigeria, I can see how far you've gone in NE, you all will failed. Tell that to your retired general. I don't know why he can sponsor you to become president, is it that you also lack credibility and integrity that you need him to come and cleanse you? You should be ashamed if yourself for thinking that a 70 something year old General will lead you out if your pathetic situation. |
MORE. He Is An Ethnic Bigot Who Thinks That Vendetta Is Fighting Corruption: After Buhari and his boys overthrew the govt of Shagari with the sole reason that the govt was highly corrupt, he locked up Dr. Alex Ekwueme – the then VP in Kirikiri maximum prison but left Shagari – the president and Head of govt in his mansion. Ekwueme was tried by the tribunal set-up by Buhari and the tribunal declared that he was even poorer than he was before he came into office. Yet, Buhari jailed him and allowed Shagari to relax in his mansion. He gave Dede Sam Mbakwe 100-year jail term for stealing nothing and also went after his wife. Ambrose Ali was tried for an undeveloped plot of land and he was jailed for 75 years with heavy torture that led to blindness and later death. Jim Nwobodo and Lateef Jakande were jailed for 100 years for stealing nothing. Adekunle Ajasin was tried by a military tribunal and found innocent. Buhari ordered a fresh trial, he was found innocent again. Buhari changed the tribunal and tried him again. He was still found innocent. Buhari still jailed him. But, Buhari left his personal friend – Awwal Ibrahim – the then highly corrupt governor of Niger State who was arrested at Heathrow airport with £14 million. Awwal was never jailed. He was placed under house arrest in his mansion like Shagari for just two weeks and indeed released. 6. He Is A Coupist: Buhari has no moral ground to stand for an election in Nigeria because he’s a destroyer of democracy and can never benefit from it. He overthrew a duly elected govt and ruled illegitimately until he was kicked out. For those that claim he was invited, go read the recent interview by Chief Ebenezer Babatope on why Chief Solomon Lar was imprisoned by Buhari. MORE ABOUT BUHARI. He Is Corrupt: That a blind man doesn’t see the sun don’t mean the sun is not up in the sky. That Buhari has not been jailed for corrupt practises doesn’t mean he is not corrupt, after-all, nobody has jailed IBB, OBJ etc., yet people say they’re corrupt. Buhari has never been able to account to Nigerians what he did with the N25 billion missing in PTF of which he was the chairman. Shagari incurred Buhari’s wrath when he decided to investigate the US$2.8 billion that disappeared from NNPC account and traced to the Midland Bank, London. Justice Ayo Irikefe panel was set-up and Saraki headed the Senate committee. The following were unequivocally discovered: Firstly, a judicial panel was set up to trace the $2.8billion (Justice Ayo Irikefe panel). Secondly, a senate committee was also set up to trace the $2.8billion (headed by the elder Saraki). The findings of the senate committee were reported live on NTA by Vera Ifudu. Buhari overthrew the govt to burn and shred the evidence. Buhari got Vera Ifudu sacked. Vera Ifudu and the NTA went to court. Vera Ifudu won her case, got reinstated and was paid compensation A man that procured a loan of N27.5million to purchase his presidential form using man-know-man approach is definitely corrupt. Buhari ought to live by example. 13. He Is A Pretender And Deceiver: Buhari claims that he has no foreign bank account, no booming business, no house in Lagos or Abuja. He has 2 houses: one in Katsina and the other in Kaduna. Yet he has been contesting elections since 2003 and pursuing it up to the Supreme Court with his team of SANs. The minimum appearance fee for a SAN at the Presidential election case at the Supreme Court is N25 million. Where did he get this money? Can he tell us his sponsors? He borrowed N27.5 million to buy a form, yet he moves around in Chattered aircraft each time he wants to fly which is costlier than owing one. Buhari is definitely a pretender. Source: http://pointblanknews.com/pbn/exclusive/20-reasons-nigerians-rejected-buhari-since-2003/ |
Take note of Bihari's comments when the FG clamped down on the BH sect. 15. He Has Soft-spot For Boko Haram: Buhari made the following statements which support Boko Haram: “The declaration of state of emergency in three Northern states of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe is a grave injustice against the North.” – M. Buhari (Liberty Radio, June 2, 2013) “…when the Niger Delta militants started their activities in the South-South, they were invited by the late President Umaru Yar’adua. An aircraft was sent to them and their leaders met with the late President in Aso Rock and discussed issues. They were given money and a training scheme was introduced for their members. But when the Boko Haram emerged in the north, members of the sect were killed”. – M. Buhari (Liberty Radio, Kaduna May 14 2012) But on Ombatse, his tone changed because they killed Fulanis: “…But those that killed the 56 security men must be hunted and prosecuted no matter how long it will take because this is the bottom line about law and order, and security in the country. They can’t be forgiven, they can’t override the constitution, Nigerians are being hurt and killed in their duties and those that killed them must be brought before the law.” - M. Buhari |
THIS WILL HELP YOU MAKE UP YOUR MIND ON WHETHER TO VOTE FOR OR AGAINST THE RETIRED GENERAL BUHARI. http://pointblanknews.com/pbn/exclusive/20-reasons-nigerians-rejected-buhari-since-2003/ |
Another picture when the car was approaching.
|
In first picture the man in uniform deliberately looks away because he knew I was taking their picture. Secondly, the man at the back was used a a decoy to say he was also arrested and his car has been taken to their station by one of their officers, but I think they are all working together. Thirdly, the other officer in uniform who is armed was the one driving my car while my driver sat at the passenger seat, I could not get his picture because the situation was so scary, I really thought they were trying to make away with my car.

If Buhari is the only option APC has for Nigerians then they are as worse as their counterparts in PDP, and I make bold to say that they are taking Nigerians for a ride and I'm sorry they will lose the election woefully. Coming to Jonathan and co, it is wrong to say they are panicked because of Buhari for fear of losing to him. Let me tell you, Buhari cannot defeat PDP even if all his almajaris and bunch of terrorists and religious bigots in the north & south vote for him. The only reason why he must not be allowed to contest is because he has already promised terror again if he loses this election in 2015. The aftermath of the election he lost in 2011 is still on, we have not been able to deal with the issues which obviously had gone really bad. Now if he loses again, what we are seeing now is child's play compared with what will happen. Every responsible leader must not throw this into the gutters because Biharis participation in this forthcoming election is a disaster waiting to happen and portends danger to the unity of this nation. It is a pity that APC leaders are not seeing beyond his participation in this election, it is highly irresponsible of them to overlook this. They are not asking the question, what if this man loses again, what will happen to this entity called NIGERIA? Will they also join in supporting his inflammatory statement to spark off pockets of violence that will consume Nigeria? I think everyone who has the interest of this nation must think beyond Buhari, and his possible post election reactions. Please let's all act responsibly. Back to Jonathan, it is clear he has not performed as expected. He has not taken some serious actions that needed to be taken when it comes to making things right. Yes, he hasn't solves security problems, electricity, roads etc. I am not campaigning for him,and will not, but he is not more guilty than our past presidents. When OBJ was there for 8 years, I don't think he got this must criticized by the opposition party, yet we never had good roads, Benin-Ore roads where totally written off, electricity was at its lowest then, our economic growth was completely stunted, he was not able to achieve much even though he did not have security issues of this magnitude such as we have now in Jonathan's administration. Yet no one called for his head. Jonathan is from the region where the resources to build and develop this nation is tapped from, yet his people live in poverty, they are minority. If he begins to show developmental concerns about his region, he will still be condensed and labeled tribalistic. Why can't we allow them to have their fair chance to lead? Why do some section of this nation employ every means to make the nation ungovernable for him. If he was from the north, would they have continued with this callous act of terrorism, would Buhari had made such inflammatory statements? Come to think of it, the north is constantly calling for Buhari to take the mantle of power come 2015 on the grounds that he is credible and not corrupt. I oblige to ask this question and I want honest answer from our northern brothers. 'If Buhari was from the south west or south east, would you have drum up support for him?' What we see at the front end of politics is just a tip of what goes on at the back end it. Talk is cheap. It is not easy to lead a multi religious, ethnic and tribal nation called NIGERIA. When you get in there you'll soon realize that it is not what you think. Let's think like responsible citizens of this nation. skyface00: |
Hello nairalanders, my experience recent along oworonsoki/OSHODI expressway. I was traveling to Abuja in my car and we stopped al Pat in front of Christ church to check my tyre. My driver parked way off the road. Sudden these guys appeared; two in police uniform and another two in plain cloth. They claimed I parked in a wrong spot and they want to take me to their office, we had a heated argument and they took my car key, jumped into my car, and drove off with my driver. I had to cross to the gbagada axis and when they approached I tried to take picture of their car, and they almost ran me over. I'm posting the picture if their car which I was able to take and this made them drop the car and my driver & zoomed off, please everyone around that axis should be careful. They are armed and could even snatch a vehicle and get away with it. I'm safely in Abuja now. |
drlawizle:I just read that article. I'm aware of few of the points. One thing is clear. I will not and cannot vote Buhari because he is a compost who never wanted democracy, secondly, he is a religious bigot. Take it to the moon, his position regards islam and spreading of sharia across NIGERIA has not changed. Really, he portends a lot of danger to Nigerians, and the corporate existence of this nation call NIGERIA. Mark my word, if Buhari wins this election, that will be the beginning of the end of the evil entity called NIGERIA. We cannot stand the spread of sharia or killing of innocent people from order regions of the country by he and his co-religious travelers. This man talks anyhow and carelessly too, I do think he needs serious psychiatric evaluation because he talks like someone who brain has been altered by some substance abuse in the past. I am not surprised by the crop of his followers and sympathizers, they are just bunch of almajaris and core northern Islamist who things that power belongs to the north, and as for those in the south west, they should read history very well, this man called Buhari does not care about other regions, if you are not a northerner and an Islamist, nothing for you. Finally, I prescribe that on no accession should any retired military officer contest election in Nigeria because they are all enemies of democracy and should not be allowed to smell it. Come 2015, Buhari shall failed, and he will cry for losing like a dog. Really, this is not the kind of man of Intergrity we need, we can do better than this. Even if we want Jonathan to go, Buhari is not fit enough to take the reigns of power, he will kill this country called NIGERIA. Please Pray for NIGERIA this coming 2015, we may cease to exist as a nation called NIGERIA. The hand writing is clear and glaring too. I see a do or die political approach being fueled by the opposition. It's not healthy for our corporate existence. |
MissMeiya:Sorry, debtors owe people money, while creditors lend money out to those who need it. So the landlady might be a debtor if she borrowed money to build her house not the creditor. Lol. Now to your submission, the system you seem not to know now is the same system which puts in place laws guiding rents, tenancy agreements, eviction, notices etc in our judicial system. I see that the landlady did not follow legal proceedings in serving her tenant a quit notice. These issues are determined in a law court and not by removing the roof of the house just to show how arrogant and pompous a house owner of her type could be. If she had followed the proper legal channel, the court might have compelled the tenant to move out and even pay fine. Please reset your kind of thinking, it will not help the society. |
ibedun:Animal, you never cease to disgrace yourself on this forum. Try it and end up in jail. You think it's all about owning a house and tramping on your tenants right. I see that you are a big fool & I'm certain you killed your father just to inherit his dilapidated 12 room face me I slap bungalow in Mushin. |
john403:This is the handy work of the supporters of that almajari presidential aspirant. |
If power mistakenly goes back to the northerners especially under Buhari administration, the south will cry and smell like rotten egg. Mark my word. All they want is power, nothing else, no developmental agenda, no road map for change, nothing, and once they have ithat power, they will treat the southerners with disdain and nothing will happen. To me, I think buhari has a mandate to get to power so that some evil agenda concerning religion in Nigeria will be perfected, and I see him failing once again and crying even more. There is an agenda from the Islamic world to ensure that NIGERIA is under Islamic rule. He cried when he lost last election, not because he loves this country, but because he is greedy and feels that he is the only holy saint worthy to rule NIGERIA and every other Nigerian is corrupt. To me, even if power should go to north after GEJ 2019, let it be given to a moderate Muslim man, not an Islamist like Buhari and his gang of almajaris. |
Islam is never about peace and so let's not be so surprised. However, it appears the north doesn't want this entity called Nigeria that is why they kill people with impunity not minding what the consequence might be. The north feels that they must rule by force, like they've always thought they were born to rule Nigeria. Time shall tell. It is part of the message preached in the north. |
I don't trust this his defection. In his statement in a welcome rally organized for him by the APC, I noticed he said "come 2015, we will join hands and sweep......................" he never mentioned the party he wants swept away, he only demonstrated the act of sweeping by swaying his broom. I was thinking he should have just mentioned the party he intends to sweep away come 2015. I call this POLY-TRICKS. Numerous tricks in Nigerian politics. I'm sure if he runs back to PDP, he wil be welcomed like the prodigal son. Let's keep our fingers crossed. |
alnaijiri:This is what we have been talking about coming from someone you think has a reasonable level of human interaction. I have always said it, every average person under the influence of islam is a potential terrorist. No matter how gentle and sincere they might appear to be, as long as they are inclined towards islam, so an islamic candidate might never be trusted, they are bound to be controlled by the tenets of the islamic religion and its agenda of violence and killing. We are saying no to islamism in Nigeria, Nigeria must be a free country with unhindered freedom of worship, religion, movement and association. It is happening in Osun state, Aregbesola thinks that everyone in osun state is a muslim, so he is busy pursuing the muslim agenda & reforms vigorously. |
Obiagelli:Who are the competent candidates and their popularity outside their domain. Please let's be realistic and not avoid the obvious. Religion and tribe are crucial factors affecting Nigerian political process. |
That is the Mark of a military man, same goes for all of them, they cling to power as if when they die the position will cease to exist. Shame if Idoma people allow this arrant nonsense again. For a man who once said that telephone is not for the poor, I think he shouldn't have been allowed to even contest. Rubbish. |
kingthreat:Luke 14:11 KJV [11] For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. James 4:6 KJV [6] But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. |
danjumakolo:The dual Muslim ticket cannot move NIGERIA forward. Nigeria and Nigerians being what they are can never leave religion out of politics or governance. You can see what hijab ban in LAGOS public schools is causing already. Are our children in school to wear hijab or to read? Or is hijab part of school uniform? You can see how religious things are trivialized in Nigeria. Even if the dual Muslim ticket works for APC, I bet you, it wouldn't be long Nigerians will start crying. In my opinion, NO retired army officer especially those who planned and executed coup in the past should aspire for any political office. Once a soldier, always a soldier. They can only be appointed as security advisers. |
anonimi:This general is a terrorist, period. No sentiments. How could he make such statement and still expect to rule this nation. He has failed already. |
Thanks. |

) funds, but he's clueless at covering his asses. He's a good for nothing Pres. which is why he can't do anything about those issues. It's only setting up useless panels that he's good at. Can you pls point to an achievement in 6 yrs? I'm not projecting anybody. I don't give a f?ck about APC or PDP... I'm not into politics and I never want to be a politician.
