omonnakoda: Honestly you are not bright. There is never in any logical process the imperative to prove asserters wrong. It ir ridiculous. If you make a claim it is your responsibility to prove it.

You are lazy mentally and rely on heuristics to categorize people. SWners do not travel ? funny but they had an empire extending to Ghana while your people had not discovered clothing.Where have you been and what have you learnt in your travels. There is no point travelling anywhere if you are impervious to learning. You rely on your preconceived ideas of what the world is really like and see no need to change your thinking in the face of overwhelming evidence.

We are not travelled but we introduce akara to brazil as well as our religion ditto for cuba and venezuela. What aspect of your culture has anyone copied anywhere huh
You have not travelled, please tell us how your people ended up in brazil, Cuba, Venezuela. Do you know your history as regards your migration to those countries, have you heard of slave trade, go and ask your folks, they will tell you how your people where abandoned in brazil at the end of slave trade. You failed to mention that some of your people are still in Freetown, do you know.? I can see how your yorubas don't travel.

Coming to learning something. Igbos have studied the Yoruba and their cultures, and came to a conclusion that is only to be taken as a mere case study in history, it bears no revelance in molding of a people, it bears no relevance to character, integrity, and trustworthiness and so there is no point learning a useless culture in the first place. Igbos learn from superior beings and not from inferiors. Please note that. Igbos have nothing to learn from Yorubas because the culture lacks substance.

Ankara got to Brazil because igbos in their quest to conquer economically exported Ankara to western countries. Go and check your records. Up until today, they are still in business.

agbameta: I though I told you to quit bothering me with your emotions and pathetic life history? You really do have reading and comprehension poblem.
You are a fool to think that you can live off igbos sweat. You and your Yoruba folks should be ashamed of yourselves. You can't even feed yourself and you are here typing with your disease stricken fingers. I know you very well, and I still maintain that you are just a worthless thief. At your age, you and your Yoruba folks now think you can arrange game plans to make igbos run from Lagos so that you can take over their properties and businesses. I have told you, you people should go and get a life, and stop waiting for when igbos will run away because you just might be disappointed. You claim Lagos is developed, are you from Lagos? You just joined forum as a Yoruba man and think you can talk about Lagos. Go back to your poverty ridden osun state and lets have some peace here. Lagosians did not mandate you to talk on their behalf. You think it's by ranting on the Internet, why didn't you ask igbos to go back 20, 30 years ago. Your folks have sold their lands due to poverty and hunger so that they can manage to give you the kind of education you now display on the Internet, you are just a retard, you think you are elite enough to take back the lands your fathers sold. Did you and have you asked your fathers why they sold their lands to feed and give you that low life education you think you have acquired. Have you wondered why? It is simple, Lagos has no resource to live on. If you doubt it, name one. Go ask your father what Lagos is known for right now, nothing, it just an empty state. You don't generate nothing but a drone of hudlums, thieves, armed robbers who hang around to smoke week day and night. You should be ashamed to come to this forum to write thrash, I am not surprised, an average Yoruba "elite" like you is full of thrash just as also recently displayed by your slowpoke brother Fani kayode, it is a pity that money was wasted to train a pig and a delinquent like that bandit. Go an have a rethink you fool. Your coming generations will not be able to take back the lands your pathetic folks sold because of hunger. The most pathetic trend this days is the so called omo onilê coming to ask for money even when a property owner wants to roof or paint a building. Wonders shall never end, jobless lagosians living off people. It shows that you fools don't have a life, no job bro (LOL), you just loaf around and sleep on the internet waiting for when igbos will run away so that you can move into a duplex or 3 bedroom flat tastefully finished and furnished by an Igbo man. You will die waiting and your coming generations who have the same pathetic ideas like yours will die waiting while living in those stupid one room lockups you have in mushin, Isalè eko etc. people like you should be thrown to the water rats and the wild cats, you don't deserve to exist because you are nothing but a thief.the topic is very clear no matter the language and definition given to it, it is a fight against igbos and their businesses, you have subscribed to it and your likes and your generations will continue to die in poverty even as igbos soar in all their endeavors. I advise you go and get a life. God bless the Igbos.

agbameta: Please shut up and face topic, I didn't ask you for your emotional and pathetic life history..
You are a pathetic fool who still thinks he can steal from the igbos, I stil, tell you that you are a confirmed Tax rogue, go an get a life and stop make money. You are not a match for the igbos. Stop planning schemes to extort money from the igbos using stupid policies, it only exposes your diseased ignorant being that you are. Do you pay tax in Lagos? show me your tax ID. You are not even from Lagos, and you are here talking from your behind. Listen, without igbos, you'll be carrying guns to go rob in neighboring countries. Goat like you, you just woke up to think that igbos are making too much money, instead of asking to be shown how to make wealth, you think you can make money with tax and imposing stupid laws and regulations. Carry your mat and go and sleep in ASPAMDA, you will only count the number of containers that igbos are bring in, and one dime will not end up in your pocket. go and throw your pathetic and bug ridden life into the ocean, ants are much preferred in this ecosystem than having your sorry ass around the igbos. You are a just a common thief. It is only a thief who tries to steal other people's wealth covetousnessly, wake up and go out there and get a life. Or you go and join your dirty criminal brothers in Isalè eko, idumota, mushin to collect 20 naira from buses and taxis. Stupid.

agbameta: Obviously, you don't know how to read and comprehend, it's in the main article and I'm posted the name of the agency and what they regulate under the law.

Please don't quote or ask me the same question again.
I am not disappointed at all at all your post, it has only confirmed that your mentality is not different from that of a 'THIEF' and I make bold to say this, if not for igbos who have come to the state to boost the economy and earning power of the state, people with the kind of mentality you display here would have taken arms to rob. I make bold to say that you are not different from a land grabber, a property fraudster, a covetous rogue who only feeds on the sufferings of other. Let me make something clear to you, you can never match the igbos, even in the next 50 years. Take all the igbos have, their houses, businesses, but you can never take their life's, success in all, is inborn, igbos are not born to be lazy, and they don't reap where they don't sow, that is why igbos don't beg for arm, they work hard to move on.

If you don't have brains, I can ask the dog to give you some, because even the dogs, goats, the rats and roaches are more intelligent than you diseases being.

You are not a match for igbos mr. Man go and get a life and stop waiting for when igbos will run away from Lagos because of your tribal heat; in order to take over their properties, don't wait, you may be surprised at what you'll get.

No, you for carry mat go dey sleep for National stadium too, Shebi na Lagos land owner you bi. Animal. Make una dey target igbos and their businesses, the one who pursues a small chicken is the one who owes the ground a fall. Soon and very soon.....

These actions in,y shows that the so called Lagosians don't have any tangible business that can yield taxes and revenues that can even sustain the state, hence they want to milk igbos die. No matter how much your touts steal from igbos, they can't run igbos down. Igbos lead while other follow. Get that into your goat brain.

ekwy nwa: How?

What laws are we talking about here?

What has the commissioner for transportation got to do with security threat issues if any? And what guiding laws are we looking at here?

Can someone help me out with this so called regularization Mr. Kayode is talking about?

Concession is different from outright sale…. What are the exact terms of this concession agreement between federal govt and the private investors? The terms of the agreement should be made public so that people can discuss from position of knowledge.

Who are these regulatory agencies? What exactly is the role of the commissioner for transportation in all these perplexity?

What has crime prevention got to do with this?
THEY ARE ONLY LOOKING FOR WAYS TO STEAL FROM IGBOS BY OVER TAXING THEM.
Politics › Re: Lagos Labels Spare-Parts Dealers Security Threat by babestella: 10:07pm On Aug 22, 2013
FG owns the structure does not equate to FG own the land.

Look, the only lands that are exempted are those inherited from the colonial govt and even those are not owned, but it is exempt from leasehold agreements. The colonials with their might and laws and guns could not even own lands in Lagos. They were alloted lands (land lots and plots) to develop but never to own.

When Dosumu ceeded Lagos and signed it to England, the British thought they had a deal but soon found out the land did not belong to Dosumu.

Constitution of Nigeria led you to believe it owns Lagos, but you shall soon see clearly that this Constitution itself is a tenant on the land.

Kalu just found out last week. If he doesnt hurry up and pay his tax or go and dobale and beg Fashola he will discover in 6days that the Constitution lied to him about ownership of Lagos. grin grin
Shut your trap animal. You always dream to reap from where you did not sow. I know your type, lazy fool. Because igbos have developed trade fair complex and made it come to live you fool now think it is time to collect tax. Go to hell stup goat. No matter how much you and your bigot govt officials steal from the Igbo, you can never match their wealth and resources. Dumb mull.

Yorubas own the complex now.
Concession or no concession, the trade fair complex still belongs to the FG, and LASG has no business there. What arrant nonsense are these yiroba bigot getting at.

CyberG: You don't get it do you? That you lost the war and the SW, North and Minority won the war did not mean you lost your land, stay in it or move back there! It doesn't matter how long you live in the SW, learn the language, eat our foods, etc you will still not be a Yoruba and have no permanent rights to our lands! This is the reality, you can face it now or wait until another 100 years, it will still be the same!
@cyberG
You are just another disillusioned retarded Yoruba goat who thinks he can take what belongs to others simply because you think you are at an advantage. Your comment above gives you away very easily as a biggggg fooooool. Gullible fools like you will say " now that Lagos is developed, you all should leave". you are just another lousy nincompoop. Let me tell you what you don't know. Unless there is a war or violent dissolution of the country, that is the only time you can have other people's properties and ofcourse at the expense of your blood, but if there is a peaceful dissolution of this sham called Nigeria, your Lagos state will be the most indebted and poorest state in this western part of Africa. The fact you should know is that with a dissolution fully supervised by the united nation, every federal government infrastructure situated in every part of the country will be valued and the value shared amongst member states. So when you check the value of federal government properties in Lagos, you may want to have a rethink because if Lagos wants to retain them, your generation might never finish paying for them. Do you know the current value of Apapa ports today?, National stadium, federal highways, federal bridges, national theatre, etc just name them, all these will be valued and fully shared amongst the states. Why? you may ask. The last time I checked, those properties were not built with your grand fathers money. My dear, these properties were built with money generated from other people's land, taxes and resources. If you think that because infrastructures have been built in Lagos, then everyone should go to hell, my dear you are mistaken, people are not fooled, that is why federal is still federal and their properties belongs solely to every Nigerian. You can go on and claim Lagos state government properties, but you can't claim what belongs to the federal govt, it belongs to all. But if you think war is a better alternative as you have been so disillusioned by what you see on ground, I think you should think again cos you might not like what will become of Lagos after the war, trust me it is never pleasant. So shut your dirty tribalistic mouth and promote peace, justice and unity. Gusshhh, you are just pathetic.

Garri the 1st: That doesn't give them the right to disobey the laws of the land. I'm sure yorubas are grateful for their "contribution" to SW economy, but they should obey simple laws if they wish to maintain the peaceful coexistence..

cool
shut up there you deluded baboon, what stupid law? lagos state govt makes laws contemptuously and enviously against the Ibo tribe to either milk them or frustrate their business. It has always being a fact which you all know, so shut your dirty trap if you don't have any reasonable contribution to make here. Your governor should continue, the end will surely justify the means, i hope it doesn't trigger a retaliatory approach in the end. One day they will appoint yoruba administrators to manage ibo owned properties.

why do you refute the report?

with all the senseless killings, harassment and arrest of innocent citizens by the police, LASTMA, VIO, extortion to the highest level, rejection of sick and accident victims by some hospitals, hospitals asking you to deposit 300k before they can touch accident victims, government asking you to pay more indirect taxes before they can render service (eg. PHCN in focus, Fuel subsidy report in view) spending long hours driving a few kilometers that would have just takes about 15 minutes drive. My man, please, I much agree with the report, there is so much stress in Nigeria, the Grace of God has been our strength.
