Politics › Re: BREAKING NEWS: Bomb Blast In Abuja. by babestella: 11:31pm On Oct 02, 2015
The first thing President Buhari did immediately he was sworn in was to remove military check points across the country. That was a dumb idea, either deliberately done or not, the dullard did not think of the consequence. Now we have unprecedented number of Boko haramites spread all over Nigeria. I pray it doesn't happen in Lagos. We truly have terrorist cells living amongst us today. Be vigilant.

Politics › Re: Saraki: CCB Member Says Chairman Breached Bureau’s Procedure by babestella: 12:42pm On Sep 30, 2015
Ok we can all see that the case is politically motivated, that is the first instance that strips it of all merits.
The fact is that if Saraki were not the SP, those who are battling him today will not do so.

If this step is not taken, I bet you some favourite people on that ministerial list will not pass the senate screening.

"He who is without blemish, let him cast the first stone", they all dropped their stones and walked away. The Bible is always right.

The tides have risen..Those Banana Island people should be on the lookout with the incessant rain lately
Banana island has the lagoon as its water front, they are out if danger for now. Unless we have an upsurge of tide on the lagoon, it's nothing to worry for now. If you have a property on the ocean view, then you can worry.

"However, Buhari explained that the raise was needed to accommodate the “huge amount of capital” required to bridge the infrastructure gap in the country".

REALLY!!!! so the $500m loan for Lagos state and the so called diaspora bond will now bridge the infrastructural gap in the Country? huh huh huh huh huh huh

Is the FEC Meeting now abolished?
I am not sure what this man is doing?

Where is our Finance minister to evaluate the implications of all these loans being granted at this time when oil prices is all time low. We are further going deep into debt and tomorrow they will tell Nigerians how much we are owing WB.

I hope the loans are not being approved only for APC states? The other day it was Edo state, now Lagos, maybe next will be Katsina.

I thought Command center has been moved to Borno
Which command centre?

It's all propaganda, which army moves her command centre to a war zone? They just said it to hoodwink Nigerians and we bought into the propaganda, now we can all see what's happening. Boko Haram everywhere.

Abeg next base joor.

Investment capital: N100,000 - N200,000
Investment period: 6 months
Return on investment: N200,000 - 450,000

I already have much experience in this business so there is very little risk involved. I have also given a realistic investment period to allow for any delay in turnover.

If you live around Festac area, tell us about experience in the hands of the Nigerian police.
I saw the police around the Festac area this morning searching innocent people as soon as they step off the bus or a bike. Men were searched like criminals. So sad the way people are treated in that area of Lagos.

PMB and his team were handed their itinerary as soon as he landed in NY for the meeting. People should not look for a way out for pmb's team. Fayemi and co chose to go to the streets of NY taking pictures and posting on the internet while they left baba to drink his usual sachet milo.

Maybe he was even busy having a secret meeting with OBJ concerning ministerial list.

There is something fishy about this whole kidnap thing.

I do agree he was kidnapped, but the intelligence and how this whole operation was carried out, to me seems more sophisticated than what a fulani cattle handler can pull.

The phoning.

The every 4 hours tactical maneuvers.

The way the ransom was paid.

How he was dropped off at Owo.

Everything shows an organized setting here, that goes beyond people, who ordinarily are nomads.
So what of the videos and audio messages BH posts on the internet, how about the b*mbs they make? Please talk with sense abeg, those goons should not be underestimated.

Politics › Re: The Battle For Senate Presidency: PDP Has The Upper-hand by babestella: 11:00pm On Sep 23, 2015
Good analysis and very objective too.

Saraki will fight dirty and to the end, when he finally goes down, he and his loyalists will take their pound of flesh on Tinubu and Buhari when the time comes to elect a new SP.

Tinubu is playing a dangerous game, he should know he doesn't have clear numbers. Don't joke with Saraki's loyalists.
Politics › Re: APC Considers Akume, Remi Tinubu As Saraki’s Replacement - NationalMirror by babestella: 12:47pm On Sep 23, 2015
I can see apc, Tinubu and Buhari playing politics of vendetta.

They should pray hard to break Saraki's 14 loyalists if not they might just have given the senate presidency back and effectively to pdp.

Finally, even if Saraki is removed, Tinubu or Buhari's candidates will not get that seat, mark my word. Saraki and his 14 loyalists will line up behind pdp and any candidate of their choice which definitely will not be any one nominated by Tinubu or buhari.

By the way, how about the 11 jets in the presidential fleet? Has anyone been sold yet?
