The fear of Iran is the beginning of wisdom, now the rhetoric is changing
You should post the full message by Trump and you would see what he promised to do to Iran for striking Qatar. Taking phrases out of context is propaganda.

Israel destroyed theirs and Iran attacked Qatar with weak air defence system.

After this war, the Gulf countries will reassess their relationship with Iran and align properly.
You really have a good grasp of the situation and implications. Iran's actions have fully confirmed to the Gulf States that Iran cannot be trusted to possess nuclear capacity or else they are more at risk than anyone. Iran has just made them more of enemies than sympathizers.

In the coming weeks and coming months, Tinubu will begin to lose sleep when he sees the true colour of human beings.

- Dele Momodu, Fmr. Presidential candidate, on the 2027 general elections

#SundayPolitics

Timubu cannot see more human colors than he saw before he became President, when even his long term associates like Aregbesola, Ojudu and Lai Mohammed turned their backs on him, believing he would lose. Not to talk of Buhari that Tinubu helped make President.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Wants To Contest Against Himself, Buhari Made Him President – Dele Momodu by Babinski: 10:34am On Mar 16
AMINDA:
If Buhari worked against Tinubu, he wouldn't have emerged as president. Buhari was neutral and rightly so, in an election that his Vice, Osinbajo was also contesting. Fastforward to 2026 and it's now clear what Osinbajo was trying to tell Nigerians. "Vote for who you know, don't vote for who you do not know". Why is Tinubu so desperate in being the only candidate on the ballot come 2027? This has never happened before. Elrufai who came all out to support Tinubu, how was he repaid?
I do not know of any politician in Nigeria that likes or loves opposition, not even Buhari. Tinubu has not made any decrees turning the country into a one-party State. The case has been that there is no credible opposition and the opposition is in disarray. And that is not unexpected when you have parties without ideologies.

Trump's war...

Doesn't even make sense in the first place.

This has to be one of the stupidest wars in history! undecided
Iran is the documented leading state sponsor of terrorism in the world. It provides funding, weapons, and training to groups like Hezbollah, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and Houthis. Rather than deny the links, Irannonly tries to reframe the narrative as backing for "resistance" movements.

For more than 39 years, US State Departmemt Reports have annually and consistently listed Iran as the leading sponsor of terrorism in the world, so this is not a new development. There were reports the Biden government would have attacked Iran but the decision to attack them now apparently depend on several factors, some of which we can only make guests about.

However, Iran is generally perceived as the major point of instability or potential instability in the Middle East, particularly as the other Gulf States are becoming more moderate and tolerant.
FamilyRe: Interfaith Couple Who Are Fasting Together by Babinski: 6:43pm On Mar 15
TooMuchStuff:
How could a spirit filled Christian married a Muslim

Even a Muslim girlfriend is a taboo let alone married

Na so confusion de take start. Mixed Multitude
A born again and spirit filled Christian marrying a Muslim is being unequally yoked. As a Christian father, his family, particularly his children are one of the primary groups he would give account to Hod for. He has a duty to train them in the way of the Lord. Fulfilling that duty with a Muslim wife is going to be very difficult if not impossible. A chain is as strong as its weakest link. A sprit filled Christian and a Muslim do not operate at the same spiritual level. It is worse if the man is the Muslim because husbands have spiritual authority over their wives.

Now this does not mean interfaith marriages cannot exist peacefully and even successfully by world standards. It only means it would be difficult neigh impossible for each to maximize their spiritual potential as a couple. For the average Nigerian Christian and Muslim, it is not a big deal though, particularly in the South West. Northern Muslims view it differently after Dan Fodio's Jihad.

madridguy:
I hope the UAE government will send the US away from their country otherwise sound of drones and missiles will be their wake up call everyday.
The UAE and other Arab countries are more passed by the attitude of Iran than US. They spent years and efforts on diplomacy with Iran only to be comfortable targets for Iranian missiles. Initially Iran claimed they were targeting American bases but ithis now clear they are trying to use attacks against the Arab countries as bargaining chips in the war.

The truth is that Iranians have ended up making more enemies among the Arab nations. Now it is clear that Iran cannot be trusted and if they have dirty bombs or nuclear armaments, it is the Middle East that faces the real danger of a madman who would not mind to take anyone down with him.
PoliticsRe: Pulling Out Parade For Former IGP Kayode Egbetokun (Photos & Videos) by Babinski: 8:55pm On Mar 13
naptu2:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7WuMyu4Sxs?si=9zSdfScNM4w9NJpC

The pulling out parade is the last official duty of a retiring senior officer. At the end of the parade the retiring officer and his/her spouse mount the back of an open top SUV. There are two long ropes that are tied to the front of the SUV and other senior officers ceremonially "pull" the retiring officer out of the barracks.

In the Navy the retiring officer boards a vessel after being pulled out and then he sails away (sailing out parade). In the air force the retiring officer boards an aircraft (usually a helicopter) and flies away.
The way things work at times.... Hmm. The law was altered for Egbetokun but it was Disu that reaped the benefit. To know that Disu just had 2 months left to retire as an AIG and the door to IGP opened to him and the law extended his retirement by 4 years.
IslamRe: Samklef Is Not Wrong — Islam Is Older Than Christianity by Babinski: 4:28pm On Mar 12
BAILMONEY:
Nobody dey craze here bruh, I am just being rational. Islam didn’t start with Prophet Muhammad. Islam means submission to one God, and all prophets, Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, preached the same message.
Judaism started later with Abraham and Zoroastrianism came with Zarathustra. So Islam is older
The claim that Islam is older than Christianity and that prophets from Adam well before Muhammad were Muslims is a not an historical fact but a manner of thinking specific to Muslims based on their dogma.

Anyone can sit in his house and claim that Adam was a black man and that the first few Kings of England were negroes even when historical facts point otherwise. To avoid arguments, everyone would just see it as that person's peculiar problem.

It is convenient for Muhammad to pick people from Judaism and Christianity, some dating back to hundreds or thousands of years and then ascribe his label to them in an attempt to validate his message. However, historical facts are available for everyone and the world cannot be compelled to believe his narrative.

Stop exhibiting your ignorance in public. That's exactly what she supposed to have known if she did proper investigation before buying the property. You can see that I know more than your father cheesy
When people respond to simple issues with insult, it is because their response is lacking in convincing argument and insult is added to make up for the deficit in intelligence.

There is nowhere the post talked about litigation on the property when she was buying it. She bought in 2015 and the former owner gave it to NCA in 2020 as part of a deal iarising from criminal investigations by the NCA. It was after that that the lady and the NCA engaged in litigation.

She didn't do her due diligence on the property. Apparently, she purchased a property under litigation so she has to forfeit it. She should sue the former owner to recover her money.
You yourself did not do due diligence on the post before commenting or you would have seen clearly where it stated as follows:

"The house had been previously owned by a businessman who was suspected of money laundering offences. He handed it over in 2020 as part of a deal with the NCA."

The Nigeria Bar Association should withdraw his certificate for believing in juju. Nothing like juju according to people that goes to school grin
Under Nigerian law, particularly Section 210 of the Criminal Code Act, practicing, possessing, or invoking "juju" witchcraft, or charms to harm, frighten, or fraudulently influence individuals is a criminal offense. Penalties include up to two years imprisonment for using juju to manipulate or intimidate.

While often viewed as a superstition, Nigerian courts (such as in Ebenezer Thomas vs. The King or Owudalu v. State) have upheld convictions of "native doctors" and individuals using charms to intimidate or threaten lives.
Christianity EtcRe: Scientists Confirm Biblical Earthquake At The Moment Of Jesus' Crucifixion by Babinski: 12:30pm On Feb 28
Lasveg:
An imaginary God/Jesus will always need people to be defending its existence.

Modified
For the ignorant christians, this is what the article says

'However, the researchers cautioned that several explanations could account for the seismic evidence. One possibility is that it corresponds to the earthquake described in Matthew's Gospel. Another is that a separate earthquake occurred around the time of the crucifixion and was later woven into the biblical narrative.'

Nothing is proven, but you can keep clutching at straws, your imaginary God needs it.
Your comments come from the place of ignorance. No seasoned historian will tell you that Jesus of Nazareth was a mythical figure that never existed. Even Jews who follow Judaism and have no regard for Christianity admit that Jesus Christ existed.

If only what you see with your eyes is what is real and the other are imaginary, then your soul, spirit and even the laws of physics are imaginary. The universe, our world, species, animals, plants and even human beings all point towards an intelligent design rather that a product of chaos.

If Umahi threatened legal action almost a year ago and did not file any suits against the woman, then it may be indicative that he has no defence to the allegations and is likely resorting to using the Police to intimidate the woman as alleged by Sowore. The matter is purely a civil case.

Melezenawii:
No matter the disadvantages of State Police, I think it is quite necessary

God Bless President Bola Tinubu
The Best President in the history of Nigeria
God Bless Federal Republic of Nigeria
The experience with Community Police that were supposed to be paid by States and subsequently owed months of salaries and reduced to begging and finding other means of survival including taxing citizens should be a serious warning of the implications of State Police.

State Governments with the exception of maybe Lagos State, have consistently had problems implementing minimum wage. Among the 3 tiers of Government, the States have held out to be the most greedy and irresponsible where Governors run the show like their personal estates. State Police will therefore contend with the following among other challenges:

1. Poor funding and equipping of the Police including delayed salaries and low salary scales.

2. Poor training particularly international engagement experience which is easily facilitated at Federal Level.

3. Challenges in resolving inter-State crimes and investigations due to.limitatuons on jurisdiction.

4. Strong political interference and possible ethnic bias from recruitment reflecting tribal and ethnic dominance sentiments at State level.

5. Strong risks of compromise of Investigations and prosecutions. Police officers are likely to be recruited from surrounding areas to reduce cost ad other factors and such allow them to be easily compromised.

The Nigerian Police currently prosecute most of its cases often because of alleged bad experience with State prosecutors where cases get compromised easily.

It is also plausible that State Police can be wielded by Governors and politicians for withchunting and political vendetta, particularly during election times.

For the Federal Government, unloading policing to the State may be attractive because it reduces the FG financial burden but Government does not exists for profit or pure financial considerations.

Theoretically, State Police may look good on paper but the realities in Nigeria is much different.

That's not a Nigeria problem, it is a universal one. An average worker in the US can't build a house without mortgage. Many salary work are for maintenance and not for wealth creation, you need to play outside the box as a salary worker to acquire some things in life
A lot of salary eaners are home owners in the USA. Even artisans like plumbers may own several houses. Mortgage is a standard thing even among the rich and wealthy there. Unlike Nigeria, it doesn't always make sense to pay all at once for your house when you can spread the payment and use the funds for other purposes.

Learnt he has gotten admission to read Law. The kind of challenges he has expressing himself in English are rooted at the Secondary School level. He should either repeat or best get private lessons from English teacher to address the deficiency. Choosing to read Law at the University level will not cure it.

Is this picture attached true? What is your honest opinion??
In a crowded mall on Sunday evening, carry a backpack, dress like a Christian brother and shout "Jesus is Lord" and watch what happens.

On the other hand, in a crowded mall on Friday evening after Islamiic prayers, carry a backpack, leave your beads long and shout "Allahu Akbar" and watch what happens.

I think therein lies your answer and the legacy of what your Muslim brothers have bequeathed to the world and chosen to be identified with. If Islam is indeed a religion of peace, Muslims would not belabour themselves trying to affirm it and convince people with words. People are not so foolish not to know the meaning of peace.

Yeah, read the interview somewhere... He even said after the test confirmed she wasn't his daughter, they still helped financially at several times in the past

I think that's where the problem is... Seems her mum has gotten used to the financial assistance and can't let go

Them for cut off once the test showed she wasn't his daughter... If the family decides to take the issue to court now, you'll see people coming out to say they're using their wealth to bully the poor
Davido and his father claimed the child is not biologically theirs but:

1. They reportedly carried out DNA tests as much as 4 or 5 times. If it is a straightforward issue, you don't go to science 4 times to confirm the same matter.

2. None of the DNA Test Results has been published publicly for clarification.

3. They were aware the girl was named Anuoluwa Adeleke, conveying that she is biologically related to them, yet they did not object to it. Rather, they started assisting financially and paying school fees. What more is expected of a biological father that they have not done? Have they not conveyed to the general public and the mother of the child by such actions, that the child is legitimately an Adeleke?

If they claim the assistance was ordinary, did they have documentation to such effect? Where they not aware of the use of the surname, which apparently implied that Davido was registered on the birth certificate as the father of the child?

The Euracare Hospital and the Anesthesiologist should be sued jointly and severally. It is always advisable in Nigeria to avoid full anesthesia during any hospital procedure or surgery if possible. You cannot trust some of these Anesthesiologist and itbis better to go for zonal anesthesia which is easier to recover from.

This is just so sad for the family that lost thier child and may God grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.

Even if you are the President of Nigeria, you can only be above the law for a while; your immunity does mot last forever.
There was a time Malami was above the law but today he is sleeping in EFCC cell. Your best bet is to always be on the good side of the law, so that even when someone wants to victimize you, it is not easy for them to use the law.

If you hit a high profile or ordinary person while driving with your valid license does not mean you will go free. It is just a guarantee that one of the offenses you would be charged with is not going to be driving without valid drivers license.

Look, even if Nigeria is not a law abiding country as you may want to claim, it is better to err on the side of caution and ensure you are always on the right side of the law.

Driving without a valid driver's license does not make you to lose your capability to drive. However it is the driver's license that authorizes you to drive on public roads and driving without it is an offense by law.

Accident is defined as an unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally, typically resulting in damage or injury.

However, there are steps that could be taken to avert or prevent accidents. Driving without a valid driver's license, driving recklessly, overtaking indiscriminately and overspeeding is not accidental; it is deliberate. And those are the things the driver is being charged for, not the accident.

When a team fails, every member gets the general blame regardless of whether you took an active role or not. Yemi Osinbajo had the choice of resigning his position. So, yes you can blame him. And to crown it all, the Igbo need to realize that they have major blame in how our country has turned out. Trying to climb on an imaginary high pedestal while shouting "Nigeria is a Zoo" is being economical with the truth.

It is so ironic that the same Igbo wouldn't mind being President of the same Zoo. Would Obi have declared Biafra immediately if he somehow became the President of Nigeria?
