After King Hussein of Jordan gave them sanctuary, they tried to assassinate him twice, so he forcibly expelled them in 1970, killing over 25,000 in the process.

When Egypt accommodated them, they allied with the Islamic Brotherhood which was responsible for the assination of Anwar Sadat, the Egyptian President.

Lebanon gave them refuge in 1970- they tried to take over the country and plunged it into a civil war that killed 250,000 and destroyed the country.

Kuwait gave them refuge- they then helped and supported Saddam Hussein when he invaded the country. After the Gulf War, Kuwait expelled most of them.

These are records that you cannot argue with or misrepresent. The pattern is clear from the experiences of this who have tried to accommodate the Palestinians!

First, it is necessary to shoot down the widely spread misinformation and lies that Israel took Palestinian lands. Those evil lies are the justification for unprovoked attacks on Israel.

The Palestinians are descendants of the Philistines and Sea People who settled in a samll area around the Mediterranean coast known as Philistia more than 3,000 years ago. The Philistines had 5 major cities which included Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashdod and Ekron. See the attached map for reference.

Around 135AD, the Roman Empire suppressed the third uprising by Jews within a century at high cost. To prevent further uprisings, the Romans displaced most of the Jews from their homeland and re-named Judea to Palestine to disenfranchise the Jews from their home land. That was the origin of the Palestinian name for the area that covered Philistia and Judea.

From the 7th Century after the Muslim Conquest of the Levant, the remaining Jews were persecuted and fled their homeland. The Palestinians who embraced Islam, subsequently took over the homeland of the Jews.

Hundreds of years later around the 19th Century the Jews gradually started returning to their homeland to find it usurped by the Palestinians, who now started claiming the lands belonged to them and their ancestors. Even Jerusalem, which had been known all through history as belonging to the Jews, was claimed by the Palestinians.

While Israel was willing to consider a two State solution to live reasonably with these descendants of the Philistines, the Palestinians rejected it and by oues and misinformation sought to label Israel and the Jews as usurpers of their land.

Without mincing words, the land of Israel covering all of the West Bank (which fell under Judea and never belonged to Philistia) up to the borders of Lebanon and Syria belong to the Jews.

Archeological escavations around most of the areas claimed by the Palestinians including West Bank all reveal Jewsih artefacts which undoubtedly reinforced their Jewish heritage.

It is worth noting that after the 1948 Arab-Isreali War that was won by Israel, the Jews didn't take over the entire lands. They left the old area of the Philistia States covering Gaza, Ashdod, etc to the Palestinians because it didn't belong to the Jews.

Please stop spreading the lies than Jews took Palestinian lands as there is no historical basis for such false, misleading and malicious claims. Seeing that as the basis for Palestinians violence further shows a lot about the kind of people the Palestinians are. They are usurpers and opportunists.

Maybe you do not know, but it is clear to many that Hamas and their leaders do not care about Palestinians in general and have no love for them. An alleged freedom fighter who launches rockets from school yards and hospitals and use human shields including babies as collateral damage to curry sympathy is no freedom fighter but a monster, a dangerous lunatic that has zero value for human lives including that of the people he claims to be fighting for. I always try to start posts by telling a little about my own experiences. But for months now I don't frequent Nairaland and I will say, there is no bigger medicine to the mind and soul of a person than staying off Nairaland. And staying away from news about Nigeria in general does wonders to a person's personal life, general progress and mental state.

But let us change perspective a little and consider another opinions.

I am from Kaduna State, you might be an Igbo, or a Nigerian Christian who's been ravaged and dealt with by either the Fulani terrorists or the Nigerian army. Let's look at the actions of the Nigerian army in the South East where they usually respond immediately after the killing of a soldier or two and kill people and burn down villages. My dear Christians or Igbo fellows, what do you say about that? Is that justified? Oh well!!

Growing up as a Christian in Southern Kaduna every time there are conflicts in the Middle East and specifically with the Israel State we always see and hear outcries from the Muslims. They'd write things like "free Palestine", "down with Israel". Kaduna State Christians would be on the opposite side praying and cheering for the Israelis.

But as a practical Christian I always wonder even as a child, the Bible says the death and resurrection of Jesus has made us all his own and God's children when we believe and are Baptised. Then how are these people in Israel the only and true people of God? What about us who worship him in spirit and in truth and who claim to know him?

At the start of the conflict some months ago I was on the side of the Israelis till I look into the plight of the Palestinians and I heard the narratives of the South Africans, who where in the same position as the Palestinians some few decades ago. Victimized and put in reservation camps and heavily policed, beaten and killed like nothing, their freedom fighters like the Hamas, considered terrorists. The White Apatheid regime was heavily supported by the same people supporting the Israelis today, the West, Europe and the USA and even the Israelis supported the Apatheid regime. Ironically the same people on the Palestinian side like the Russians, the Iranians, the Chinese etc, supported the Black South Africans.

Currently more than ten thousand Palestinian children, women, disabled, elderly and men have already been killed, and counting. TEN THOUSAND IN ONLY LESS THAN TWO MONTHS! The Arabs have a big fault, in fact they're not innocent. But the majority being dealt with are the average Palestinians.

These same Jewish people benefited the most in the enslavement of Black people, and these same people are sterilizing Black women, specifically the Ethiopian Jews so that they won't give birth to Black children and affect their demographic. These people are not the people of the God me I serve. These Jewish people today are not the people of God in the Bible. These brazen and bold unashamed blatant retaliatory acts is not one for those who fear God.

There are different and more peaceful ways of solving these issues, but the People claiming Jewish today do not want peace till they wipe out and remove all other non Jewish from their homes. These same brutish, and inhumane people are preying on the emotions and beliefs of Christians world wide to continue in the acts of shedding blood irrespective of age, gender or civilians involved. They've blocked the hearts and minds of people into supporting their wickedness.

As a Christian, I know the words of God through Jesus Christ, and this is not it. I refuse to believe we serve the same God that'll clap for acts done by people like these!!!

The material facts of the cases are the same and apply to issues of membership of a Political Party. The argument was that Obi was not a member of LP as at the time of election due to failure to comply with Section 77(3) of the Electoral Act. Misinformation. Jews are no strangers to the region. Historically, everyone knew Jerusalem belonged to the Jews.

Palestine was a name given to Judea by the Romans after quashing a Jewish uprising around 135 AD in a bid to disenfranchise the Jews from their land. It was a tactic aimed at suppressing future urprisings in the area.

After the Islamic conquest of the Levant around the 7th Century AD, Jews were heavily persecuted out of their homeland for not converting to Islam and the decendants of the Philistines and Sea People that were not indigenous to the region, but who accepted Islam, took over Judea (named Palestine) and other Jewish settlements. These group of people who did not even have homogenous heritage, called themselves Palestinians and lay claim to the lands.

All the land claimed by the Palestinians largely belonged to the Jews. Palestine is not a native name, it was given by the Romans to the region named Judea. So the heritage of the Palestinians in the region is questionable. Everybody agree that that region extending into the Middle East belong to the descendants of Abraham and even the Arabs trace their lineage to Abraham. But Palestinians do not share in the heritage.

The land of Judea belong to the Jews and the fact that Romans gave it a different name does not make it to belong to the Palestinians. It is not a coincidence that all the archeological excavations and findings in Palestine point to Jewish heritage.

The 1947 UN Partition Plan proposing two States of Israel and Palestine with Jerusalem under International Authority was accepted by Jews but rejected by Arabs and Palestinians which subsequently led to the 1947-1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine. The end result was the loss of major territories by the Palestinians to Israel and Palestinians cjoosing to become stateless rather than create a State of Palestine over the territories that remain unclaimed by Israel.

Today, majority of Palestinians and Israelis do not support the 2-State solution. Israel is unwilling to conceed any territories to Palestinians and you cannot blame them because Palestinians have siezed any small opportunities to attack Israel.

Even before the on-going war brought about by Hamas stupidity, the situation in Gaza was not encouraging at all. Unemployment was at 49% among the highest in the world with 70% youth unemployment. Yet they had a high reproduction rate among the highest in the world leading to unusual population of children at almost 50% and very high population densities. Rather than address these serious economic issues and use foreign aid to build amenities, schools and hospitals for Palestinians, Hamas chose to build bunkers, tunnels, buy armunitions and rockets and silence any opposition to their policies and actions among the Palestinians.

The West Bank which is the larger of the two Palestinians Territories is doing much better than Gaza despite having higher.population than Gaza.

In the absence of 2 State Solution, the alternative is to have Gaza Strip come under the control of Egypt and West Bank go back to Jordan. If Israel was not there in the first instance, the Palestinian Territories would have been shared mainly between Egypt and Jordan. That is the truth.

In 2015 Election in Kogi State, the Late Abubakar Audu won the election with 240,867 to 199,514 votes of PDP as the closes contender.

The situation in Kogi should be a source of worry to every well meaning Nigerian because it portends grave consequences when the advances of Voter Accreditation and BVAS are blatantly circumvented in favour of writing results in the manner of early years of our bitter democratic experience.

Everybody agree that that region extending into the Middle East belong to the descendants of Abraham and even the Arabs trace their lineage to Abraham. But Palestinians do not share in the heritage.

The land of Judea belong to the Jews and the fact that Romans gave it a different name does not make it to belong to the Palestinians. It is not a coincidence that all the archeological excavations and findings in Palestine point to Jewish heritage.

It is immaterial whether the false document or writing, or counterfeit seal, was made in Nigeria or elsewhere.

Look at all the definition of False document according to the law in Section 464 of the Nigerian Criminal Code Act and tell me which applies to Tinubu's Diploma or Certificate.

If a certificate is Ceremonial and can be printed by you as long as you without it being deemed an illegality as long as you attended and graduated from the University, how does it become a false document? It only becomes a false document if you never graduated or attended the University because then it wiould be trying to convey a lie.

If there is really a case of forgery or uttering false document that could be legally pursued against Tinubu, do you think Atiku and his Lawyers in their desperation will not pursue it?

It is not a case of technicalities. Atiku's case is weak. That he chose to be granting press conferences and whipping up sentiments after receiving the "blockbuster evidence" from Chicago State University on Tinubu goes a long way in showing the strength and relevance of the evidence to his case at the Supreme Court.

It is always a problem when you believe strongly that a person should be removed based on moral grounds while struggling to find sound legal basis for your position.

While it is clear that the Diploma Certificate presented to INEC was not issued by Chicago State University (CSU), it is very difficult to successfully prosecute Tinubu for forgery based on the US approach and practice involving Diploma Certificates which is clearly different from the Nigerian approach.

In the US, you can design and print your own certificate as long as you attended and graduated from the University you are claiming on the certificate. In fact there is hardly any demand or request for Certificates by employers or Universities in the USA unlike in Nigeria. What they request for is Transcript. As such the Certicates are not treated as bonafide evidence of University attendance and graduation the way such Certificates are treated in Nigeria.

Since CSU has affirmed that Tinubu attended and graduated from their University, it is difficult making a case of forgery against Tinubu on a Diploma Certificate that he could as well have designed and printed himself in the USA and would not be prosecuted for it.

The fact that rather than fervently pursue his appeal at the Supreme Court with the evidence collected from CSU, Atiku is choosing to grant press conferences and whip up sentiments and emotions go a long way in showing the "strength" of the evidence he got from CSU in unseating Tinubu.

All things being well, Atiku should by now be an ex-convict based on his corruption case involving Former US Congressman William Jefferson, who was sentenced to 13 years imprisonment in 2009.

Surprisingly it is that same Atiku crying now for "Justice" in his agenda to become President of Nigeria while.milking all he can from the "Tinubu Certificate" saga.

1. It depends on how the "purported" was used. If the results were referred to as INEC's purported results, then it is a big flaw because it means they are pleading purported and not necessarily factual INEC results of the election. However if the INEC results were referred to as purported results of the election, then it is not a flaw. They are there to challenge it as the true reflection of the election outcome.

2. While there might be a flaw as stated, it is not enough to throw away the baby with the bathwater. Using technicalities to deny justice in a matter involving the will of the people of a State in an electoral process is highly condemnable particularly in the face af precedents from the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court of Nigeria in the 2018 case of Akeredolu v Abraham stated that “technicality in the administration of justice shuts out justice”. Further, the court noted also that, “man denied justice on any ground, much less a technical ground, grudges the administration of justice. It is, therefore, better to have a case heard and determined on merit than to leave the Court with a shield of ‘victory’ obtained on mere technicalities”.

According to Justice Niki Tobi, “Good law, must have a human face; good law should not patronise technicalities that will give rise or room to undeserved victories in litigation. Good law should discourage technicalities… good law will not encourage a situation where a party in litigation will only return home with pyrrhic victory which in reality is no victory at all”.

Agreements like payments to millions of households are just an avenue for corruption because they cannot be effectively and efficiently monitored with the current system in the country.
