Jeans601: When you go around killing babies, you and old civilians and raping women without any provocation and rejoicing about such wickedness and even filming it, you should not expect anyone to mourn when your own children and wives are getting killed in retaliation. At least IDF have the decent to warn cities to evacuate before attacks and not rape anyone and their actions are based on response to provocation. They didn't go into houses to bring out children, mean and women and murder them in cold blood. These numbers of the dead being reported by Hamas, if true, is collateral damage. And what do you expect when your combatants do not wear military uniform and fire rockets from playgrounds, schools and hospitals while using civilians as human shield? You claim to be a man who loves his family but you are hitting your enemy that is capable of retaliation while hiding behind your wives and childrens? Oh, what a courageous and loving father you are indeed!!! Some people say IDF should fight Hamas and that Palestinians are innocent. But is it not these same Palestinians that not only celebrated Hamas for murdering Israelis but joined in the killing and looting of Israelis when they could? Is it not the same Palestinians that elected Hamas to power ad provided their children and youth as soldiers for Hamas, even when knowing fully well that one of Hamas founding objecrives is the eradication of Jews and Israelis? Now you expect everyone to value the lives of Palestinian children and women when Hamas and the same Palestinians do not value those lives and are comfortable to sacrifice them for sympathy and propaganda? There is a Yoruba adage that it is how you call your dog that people will help you to call it. If you call it Bingo people will not call it Lion. 2 Likes |

You will not cite any verifiable sources or provide any evidence but want people to take your words for value as if talking to inebriated guests in a beer palour. For your information, the Hebrew written on the coins and notes translate to "Land of Israel" and date back to 1927. 1 Like |

Alaigbo: You need to educate yourself more and learn to cite references to buttress your claims. This is an engagement beyond beer palour talk. There has never been a country called Palestine. Mandatory Palestine which was established by the British between 1920 and 1948 was made up of Palestinian Arabs and Palestinian Jews. There was a UN Partition in 1947 to create separate states for the Palestinian Arabs and Palestinian Jews (Israel). While the Jews agreed, the Arabs went to war in a bid to eradicate the Jews. The outcome is that the Palestinian Arabs eventually lost part of their territory to the Jews and rather than make do with the remaining part, chose to be Stateless and became refugees. The British Mandatory Palestine was made up of Jews and Arabs contrary to your claim of 1947 shipment of Jews. I have attached here pictures of a British Mandatory Palestine Passport belonging to a Jewish couple as well as a Bank Note and Coin from 1927 clearly showing Palestine and Land of Israel written in Hebrew. You can see Hebrew writings on the Passport along with Arabic and English. So forget the story that Jews came to the region in 1947. Do not be deceived anymore! 1 Like

aguluobi:There is a adage that says all is fair in love and war. The meaning is that people do not follow the usual rules of behavior and therefore do things that are normally considered unfair but which are all allowed in situations of love or war. If you declare war on someone, you don't come running to social media with pictures of your dead children and relatives and then start shouting genocide to incite public sympathy. The rules change when it is time of war. Forget about war crime tribunals. Those ones are post event and those who are dead are already dead. So approach issues of war or revenge with force carefully. What have the Palestinians gained from their revenge all these years? They continue to lose territory, lose thousands of lives and have their facilities and infrastructure destroyed. Their economy is in shambles with more than 70% youth unemployment. So where is the gain from revenge? And let me correct you, Africans seeking independence from Colonial masters is a different situation from Palestinians. The land historically belong to the Jews and they came back and resettled there after many years. These descendants of Philistines and Arabs that call themselves Palestinians are the usurpers contrary to their cries. I do not have time to explain here but you can read some of my previous posts on the matter below: https://www.nairaland.com/7920509/netanyahu-gives-mossad-orders-kill/10#127177058 https://www.nairaland.com/7927531/hamas-sa-israel-destroyed-two-state#127273173 |

Visocrate: This is contrary to the founding aims and objectives of the NYSC. How can you aim for national integration with these Corp Members while pursuing capitalistic objectives? Are you going to be leasing them out as HR Consultants while collecting percentages from their salaries or you will put them in Farms and other Ventures to earn income for the Federal Government? If the Government feels the NYSC has outlived it's objectives or cannot fund it anymore, then is it not advisable to let the prospective Corp Members get into the job market as soon as possible or make NYSC optional? Several young people lose their lives traveling for NYSC not to talk of those who get delayed for months to be mobilized and consequently miss out on recruitment age limits. |

VeryWickedMan: Spending the longest accumulated time in space is not a scientific breakthrough or achievement. These times were accumulated from visits to the International Space Station which is jointly owned by Russia, USA, Japan, Canada and Europe. Russia may be short staffed and consequently send the same cosmonauts more frequently to the ISS than other countries, hence the huge accumulated numbers per cosmonaut. It is not an achievement. They are not doing anything special on the ISS than the other countries. The Russian side of the ISS is managed solely by Russian Space Agency (Roscosmos) while the United States side is managed by NASA and the other countries. So it is not easy for the US side to have repeated long visits by the same personnel. |

EreluRoz: The man is not a Christian. Just some charlatan using God to deceive his followers and engage in sin. The Bible has said by their fruits you shall know them. He calls marriage a personal choice and monogamy Paul's advice, yet any true Christian knows marriage is an institution ordained by God to be between a man and a woman. That much is clear from Genesis. And Jesus affirmed it in Matthew 19: 4 - 6. His saying that he is a prophet and not a bishop as a means of escaping monogamy shows the shallowness his understanding of the Bible. You can see how in all his talking, the emphasis is not on service to God but on wealth, his claimed prophetic gift and sensual relations with his multiple wives. Even his source of wealth, he has problems explaining it |

Politics / Re: Tinted Glass Permit: Three Police Officers In Lagos Face Trial by Babinski: 6:44am On Feb 02 |
jmoore: USA does not ban use of tinted glasses but it is regulated. A blanket permission for use of tinted glasses is very much against conventional wisdom in a country battling with kidnapping and other security challenges. The official laws and regulation in Nigeria prohibit use of tinted glasses without authorization. A situation where it has been allowed to be dependent on the whims and caprices of the Inspector General of Police is not the best. The Motor Vehicles (Prohibition of Tinted Glass) Act, CAP M21 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria specifically states that except with the permission of the "appropriate authority" and for "good cause", no person shall cause any glass fitted to a vehicle to be tinted, shaded, coloured lightly or thickly, darkened or treated in any way so as to render obscure or invisible persons or objects inside the car. It is a security risk in the country to just allow indiscriminate tinting of vehicles without any serious enforcement of the law. In Ghana, you can only tint side windows and that must be 70% visible so you can see and be seen. In fact the DVLA is trying to outrightly prohibit use of tinted glasses in vehicles. In India you must have at least 50% visibility in the side windows in a vehicle. In UK the front side windows must have 70% visibility in case of any tinting. In South Africa there must be at least 35% visibility on tinted side windows so the vehicle occupants can be seen. In the USA there are laws also regulating the use of tinted glasses in vehicles across the various States. https://saharareporters.com/2013/04/04/concerning-tinted-vehicle-glass-%E2%80%93-all-you-need-know-csp-frank-mba https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/tinted-vehicle-windows-rules https://www.klingshield.co.za/regulations-window-tinting-south-africa https://yen.com.gh/ghana/228835-driver-vehicle-licensing-authority-cautions-motorists-using-tinted-windows/ https://allfloridatinting.com/united-states-tint-laws |
Religion / Do You Need To Ask God For Forgiveness When You Sin? by Babinski: 10:40pm On Jan 30 |
[quote] According to a sermon or preaching video of the LOGIC Church that is circulating on Social Media, a Christian or Believer that has been saved by God does not need to ask for forgivenss whenever he or she sinsby Jesus Christ has paid the price once and for all. I have brought this here so that genuine Christians should be warned and wary of these dangerous teachings that is capable of detailing their walk with Christ. The dangerous teachings are becoming the norm these days from half-baked and outrightly unbaked Pastors and self-titled Apostles. In the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6 and Luke 11, Jesus himself taught his disciples to ask for forgiveness but proponents of the heretic teachings claim that the prayer was taught before Jesus died on the Cross, and therefore the prayer is antiquated. Now is the Lord's Prayer for Believers or Unbelievers? If you say it is for Unbelievers, is God the Father of Unbelievers such that they can approach him as his children and say "Our Father...."? Will an Unbeliever make sense to ask not to be led into temptation when he already stands condemned? 1 John 1:8-9 clearly speaks to believers and not Unbelievers and it says and I quote: 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. John wrote this and still went ahead in the following chapter to warn the believers against sin even though they have an advocate in Jesus. That we have an advocate in Jesus is what gives us the confidence that if we confess our sins, he will out of his faithfulness forgive us and "purify us from all unrighteousness". All unrighteousness is sin and sin here is taken as impurities. The believer is thus being purified from sin, because when a believer sins, he is polluted and needs to be clean again. Purify means to make clean again, to remove impurities. That same purify is also used again by John in 1 John 3:3 wherein a believer purifies himself with the goal of being pure as He is pure and with the hope that when He appears, we will be like Him. Let no one deceive you, though he who has had a bath has his body clean as Jesus said in John 13:10, he nonetheless needs to clean his feet from impurities to be completely clean at all times. And that cleaning as much as is possible, involves his admission of the sin and asking for forgiveness from the Father. Unbelievers confessing their sins and asking forgiveness from God have no assurance of forgiveness without first accepting Jesus as their Lord and savior. They already stand condemned. It is only a believer that can confess and ask for forgiveness and get assurance of forgiveness because of the sacrifice of Christ Jesus. Be careful of dangerous teachings that can derail your walk with God. What do you gain from telling God when you fall into sin that you cannot confess and ask forgiveness because Christ paid the price, yet in his paying the price you have still found youself in sin? Or will you even take a further step off the ledge and say that as a believer, you cannot sin? Beware. https://twitter.com/instablog9ja/status/1751557195664089387?t=TEZ7cRUIcwUvCTuXGi7ANQ&s=19 |

Religion / Re: Africans Are Special Case When It Comes To LGBT Because Of Their Culture - Pope by Babinski: 10:32pm On Jan 29 |
abhosts: Isn't it surprising to see how you express your disdain for Africans or people opposed to your point of view by referring to them as "poor people". I have found quite a reasonable number of the LGBTQ crowd to be intolerant, discriminatory and manipulative. They will ride on Government policies and use State resources to further their agenda and force it down the throat of all people. Imagine developed countries conditioning aid to poor African countries on their acceptance of LGBTQ while hiding under the guise of promoting liberal views. They are not as much concerned about whether the aid is stolen, misapplied due to bad governance or people die of hunger as much as their desire to see LGBTQ thrive in the midst of these poor Africans. In the society and workplaces in these developed countries, people are getting punished for expressing their views and opinions in a purported liberal society simply because some group of people feel offended or their sensibilities insulted. Have you also thought about your promotion of LGBTQ as insulting to the sensibilities of others, like these Africans? Where is the justice where it is okay to insult religious figures and make caricatures of them without regard to the sensibilities of others but it is wrong and punishable to address a man with beards as "he" or "him" because he claims to identify as a woman or a binary? Is that not simply saying that the sensibilities of the LGBTQ community are more important than those of Christians or Muslims or other people of religion opposed to homosexuality? Can you see the hypocrisy? The Christian God in the Bible has clearly expressed his disapproval for homosexuality. But rather than steering clear of the Christian Church and going where your LGBTQ is accommodated, the plan is to force LGBTQ down the throat of the Church even when it clearly contradicts the Bible. If you are able to get the Pope to dance to your tune, true Christians are not deceived and do know he is dancing not as an ambassador of Christ but that of the LGBTQ and the Anti-Christ. |

Religion / Re: SIN Does Not Offend GOD: Here are 3 Things That Really Offends GOD by Babinski: 6:28pm On Jan 29 |
reallifegospel: Isaiah 59:2 says "But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear". That shows the level of abhorrence God has for sin. Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death. It shows you how heavy the punishment for sin is from God. When you offend someone, you make the person annoyed or upset about you. From these Bible verses and even the theme throughout the Bible, does it appear like God is happy about sin or even condones sin? Where did you learn God is not offended by sin? Sin in its simplest definition is disobedience to God. How then can someone say God is not displeased with sin? Which Bible is he or she reading? Pride, wickedness and injustice are only types of sins. And mind you all sin is displeasing to God. Most of the so called Pastors mouthing these heresies are "empty barrels" who have never grown under any sound theological tutelage or training and think the word of God is all about rhetorics and word play. Beware who you follow if you cannot read your Bible, lest it becomes a case of the blind leading the blind to eternal damnation. 3 Likes |

The 64-paged Passport that was officially N 70K was costing N 100K. Now you want to adjust prices, instead of asking why the 64-paged passport was costing more than twice the 32-paged passport and thereby cause a reduction in the price of the 64-paged because you definitely were not making losses on the 32-paged pricing, your pinenof reasoning was to increase the price of the 33-page on the justification that it should be half of the 64-paged Passport cost! Fineman2: The analogy between Boko Haram and Hamas is wrong. 1. Palestinians voted in Hamas to govern them since 2005. Nigerians didn't vote in Boko Haram to lead them. 2. Palestinians supported and cheered Hamas during the October 7 attack on Israelis. It was almost impossible finding a single Palestinian condemning the attack. Nigerians regularly condemn Boko Haram. 3. Palestinians working in Israel and some who were treated in Israeli hospitals gave information to Hamas on how to attack and kill Israelis. They were Hamas sympathizers if not recruits. Nigerians are not Boko Haram sympathizers. 4. How many Palestinians condemned Hamas for using Schools, Playgrounds and Hospitals as hideouts to fire rockets at Israel while using children and civilians as human shield and collateral damage? How many blame Hamas for no using military uniform, thus making it difficult to separate civilians from fighters? Until Palestinians show that they hate the ways of Hamas and stop supporting them, then whatever punishment comes for the attrocities committed by Hamas will surely be jointly borne by them. Is it not these Palestinian children and youth that have been brainwashed with hatred that are the recruiting grounds for Hamas? If you hide and support thieves in your house you should be crying that stones thrown by people at the thieve are hitting your children and family members! 2 Likes |
