THESE GUYS SOLD OVER 300 PLOTS PLOT OF LAND IN THIS ESTATE ALMOST 10 YEARS AGO IN 2006. UP TILL NOW WE HAVE NOT SEEN ANY DEVELOPMENT AND ONE CANNOT EVEN LOCATE THE ESTATE ALONG THE PAPALANTO ROAD. SEVERAL CORPORATE BODIES HAVE DRAGGED THEM BEFORE THE EFCC. THE OWNER PASTOR ABRAMS OF CHRIST EMBASSY USED THE MONEY TO BUILD ANOTHER ESTATE AT MAGODO. ALL ATTEMPTS TO GET THEM TO REFUND MONEY HAVE PROVED ABORTIVE. NA SO SO STORY. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.

Nonsense, Buhari should deceive himself, he is projecting himself as one saint who did not Embezzle, definitely he is the real owner of that house ejecting himself from his house.
Why do you have to make such unsubstantiated comments. Shame on you.

There are 119,973 polling units in Nigeria.

Since yesterday Online blogs, Twitter, NL has been buzzing about GMB leading, yet results of less than 100 Units( i am being generous with the Number oh) have been posted online to vet the so called claims.

These online unconfirmed results represents about 0.08% of PUs in Nigeria

What has happened to the over 119,873 PUs that are not posted online, is GMB not leading in those PUs?

YOu de sleep. Results so far known are over 1,000 untits.

Politics / Osinbajo & Buhari: A Veritable Alternative by Babosa: 3:53pm On Mar 18, 2015
Everyone who has met PYO can testify that is a humble, open, accessible and down to earth person. PYO has always been hugely popular. Ask former students of the University of Lagos where he was lecturer for almost 2 decades; ask staff at the Lagos State Ministry of Justice where he was Attorney General for 8 years and ask pastors and members of RCCG. The report is always the same. PYO is a man of the people. From the start of the campaign PYO exhibited and confirmed these people centric qualities. At the Palms, Lekki he mingled with shoppers and freely gave out his phone and e-mail contacts. Then he took rides on BRT buses in Lagos and spoke with ordinary commuters. PYO is comfortable with and around the common man. Recently, on the village to village campaign trail in Ogun State he met with rural folk, farmers and elderly villagers. Before that in Ibadan he walked through Bodija market and mingled with market women, shoppers and hawkers.

PYO has consistently displayed extreme humility and compassion for the masses. This has enabled him to feel the pulse of the people and know their problems first hand. Little wonder that PYO is passionately committed to the key points of the APC manifesto (which he helped to draft) that touch the lives of the common man Take for example, the programs for the most vulnerable in society; school children and the elderly. APC promises to “Ensure timely payment of retirement benefits for all pensioned senior citizens and create a poverty safety net for all aged citizens above the age of 65” and also “Ensure every child in primary school is properly nourished and ready to learn by providing one free meal a day.” Recall that APC Governors Fayemi and Aregbesola successfully executed similar programs for the elderly and students in Ekiti and Osun States respectively. Change is possible and Change is workable.

Those who know GMB also confirm that he is a humble, open and down to earth person. These qualities have endeared him to the common man and created a cult like following among ordinary people in large parts of Northern Nigeria. The huge crowds at APC campaign rallies in many cities is clear testimony. Together GMB & PYO make a great team and veritable option for the oppressed masses of Nigeria. They are both men of integrity, God fearing and incorruptible. This is what the new Nigeria needs, leaders who will lead by example and set new standards of probity and accountability. Now the people have a true alternative after 16 years of PDP.

Politics / Buhari: Answering The Critcs by Babosa: 3:36pm On Mar 18, 2015
PDP has gone to great length to paint GMB with a tar brush. It is a classic case of giving a person a bad name in order to hang him. The main attack is that GMB is a Muslim with an agenda to Islamise Nigeria and impose Sharia law. A former US ambassador to Nigeria, now with the Council on Foreign Relations John Campbell told AFP recently about PDP efforts to brand Buhari as an extremist devoted to Islamic law. "It is grossly unfair. I know him. He is not an extremist but these things resonate." What is the basis for this Islamist toga. Lets us look at the facts. It was IBB that took us to the OIC. Sharia law was imposed in some states during the tenure of the PDP led Obasanjo Govt. On the other hand, during his tenure as Head of State, GMB did not take us to the OIC and he never imposed Sharia law in any part of the country. They say GMB was a dictator 30 years ago and violated human rights. He answered his critics during his speech at Chatam House in London by admitting that dictatorship goes with military rule but he is now a converted democrat who has subjected himself to the democratic process four times. Surely, GMB can no longer be labeled a despot or an Islamist.

Another attack is on the health of GMB. Critics say that at over 70 years of age GMB is too old to carry out the duties of President. The people who peddle such stories are clearly uninformed and GMB will not be the first 70 year old to govern his country. Francois Mitterand of France was 72 when he was re-elected in 1988. Jacob Zuma of South Africa is 72 years old. Alasanne Quatarra of Cote d’Ivoire was elected at age 72. Former president of Uruguay, Jose Mujica was 75 years of age when he was elected. Furthermore, Obafemi Awolowo and Nnamdi Azikiwe were 74 and 79 years old respectively when they both contested in 1983.

Car Talk / Re: Toyota Cars To Be Careful About Buying by Babosa: 7:40am On Aug 01, 2014
viperman:

Funny enough, most accidented cars(not heavily accidented) have less mechanical problems than clean titles as they would have been less used, due to parking them down after the accident, than their clean title counterparts.

Yes thats a very valid point. The engines of many accidented cars afre still in good condition due to little useage after the accident.

Yes youre very correct about being prone to engine sludge particularly here with the dusty environment. I lost the engine of my 2006 Corolla to engine sludge. other than that its being free of any hassles. Very rugged.

Lets not get emotional about this language thing. Jesus Christ spoke Aramaic but even though that language is all but extinct today the message of Christ has outlived the language. We must accept that the language of minority groups and economically less developed people will become extinct. Fact of history.

Politics / Re: List Of Top Cases Abandoned By EFCC by Babosa: 8:40pm On Sep 28, 2013
Talking about the EFCC Act. It is very badly drafted. The key divisions of the EFCC are the Investigations and the Prosecutions Divisions. In particular the prosecutions because the success of any law enforcement agency is measured by the number of convictions and not the number of arrests. The first 2003 EFCC Act created several divisions including Investigation, Prosecution, Training etc. However, while directors were appointed for the other divisions no director of prosecutions was ever apponited and none has ever been appointed till date. The EFCC resorted to the ad hoc prosecution of cases by the likes of Rotimi Jacobs who was not a staff of the EFCC. Rather he was paid an average of N2.5m to prosecute each high profile case. Falana was the de jure head of the EFCC legal department. When the EFCC Act was amended in 2004 the prosecutions was reduced from a full fledged division to a department under the office of the chairman. Little wonder that the prosecutorial capacity of the EFCC was hampered and compromised. It is sad and unbelievable that prosecutions department of the EFCC has no proper structure unlike the prosecutions divisions of similar law enforcement agencies like the NDLEA. Who is the current director or head of the legal department of the EFCC? Does he have any authority over what cases and who gets prosecuted? Questions that need answers. Ask any serving member of staff of the EFCC and they will all tell you that Farida Waziri tried to organise that place. Unfortunately she did not have the sympathy of the corrupt Nigerian press who Ribadu settled regularly. You can go the the EFCC and make discreet investigations to check these facts. Rotimi Jacobs who prosecutes most of their cases bungled the charges because he had no prior criminal prosecutions experience but was skilled in civil litigation. The legal department of the EFCC urgently needs to be upgraded to a full division with a full director to be headed by a very senior lawyer with prior prosecutions experience preferably a former DPP if the federal or state government. This is the only way to bring sanity and success to the prosecution of EFCC cases.
