It does none of you any good to be boasting about this, and that. God can never be glorified in vain arguments about who is correct, and who is false.

Can a person's heavenly-mindedness be of any good unless he is also earthly good. How can we claim to represent God when we allow the enemy of souls, whether its moslems, or christians, to laugh at us scornfully?

one thing that make me  respect u is the way you turn away from questions pretending as if you dont understand the question or that the writer didnt pose the question very well. the question is a very straightforward one.

it seems u dont understand the bible verse very well or maybe u didnt read very well. during jesus time, he wasnt given the opportunity to tell you most things. thereby, he told you that its important that he must go so that the spirit will come and that wqhen he comes, he will guide you into the truth, he will declare what is jesus' etc.

i now ask you again, the holy spirit is supposed to tell you new things aside jesus.

from your bible, i want you to tell me what the holy spirit has been telling you on divorce case, marriage, will, treatment of orphan, treatment of ones parent, witnesses, property etc (remember, the holy spirit is supposed to tell new things that jesus didnt tell you when he was alive*

WRITERS: Now it becomes clear that Mary Magdalene and her group bought their spices after the Sabbath, as recorded by Mark 16:1. On the other hand, Joanna and her group bought their spices before the Sabbath, as recorded by Luke 23:56. It is significant that Joanna is mentioned only by Luke, thereby strengthening the proposition that it was her group mentioned by him in the resurrection account.

WRITERS: so fully: The darkness was on its way out but had not yet gone. Mark's statement that the sun had risen comes later, when they were on their way. It is perfectly reasonable to assume that the sun had time to rise during their journey across Jerusalem.

In all the references given for eleven disciples, the point of the narrative account is to be accurate at that particular moment of time being spoken of. After the death of Judas there were only eleven disciples, and this remained so until Matthias was chosen to take Judas' place.

V 16: AND TO THOSE WHO DISPUTE CONCERNING ALLAH (HIS RELIGION OF ISLAMIC MONOTHEISM WITH WHICH MUHAMMED SAW HAS BEEN SENT), AFTER IT HAS BEEN ACCEPTED (BY THE PEOPLE), OF NO USE IS THEIR DISPUTE BEFORE THEIR LORD AND ON THEM IS WRATH, AND FOR THEM WIL BE A SEVERE TORMENT.

Quran 10v38: Or do they say :”Muhammed (saw) has forged it?” say: “bring then a Surah (chapter) like unto it, and call upon whosoever you can besides Allah if you are truthful.

Quran 11v13: or do they say,” He (Prophet Muhammed saw) forged it? (the Quran)? Say,”bring you then ten (10) forged Surahs (chapters) like unto it, and call whomever you can, other than Allah (to your help), if you speak the truth”.

Quran 17 v 88: say, “ if mankind and the jinn were together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another.

Before I commence, I will like to let you know that I didn’t copy anything from anybody. You would have noticed that the numberings, arrangement and even some of the chapters used are different. I still have more contradicting chapters and verses with me, not forgetting that I was once a Christian like you(born again, an active member: replying Havila’s thread) (very familiar with most Christian sects, their bibles etc) I would have been very happy if you (babyosis, havila and the rest) reply me or your writers reply me but at the same time I will explain all the chapters mentioned here. I even thank Shabbir for adding another 101 to my already 101 making it to be 202 (very funny)!!.

I will be very grateful if you can contact your writers to explain my above contradictions too. Am still waiting for your answer to my 101 response and not to Shabbir’s 101. if I tell you that I knew nothing about Shabbirs’s and wouldn’t say anything on it, it would look as if am avoiding your “supposed response”. I will respond to you and your writers thread but at the time never forget to contact your writers for further beating about the bush in the name of “finding explanations to what cant be explained”

Also didn’t you notice the difference in protestants’ bible (66 books) as against catholic bible 73 books). Am very sure God’s curse will be on either of the two as put by the book of revelation the punishment for anyone that add or remove from God’s words. To cap it all, Jehovah witnesses dropped a bombshell tagged, “50,000 errors in the bible”. It was in the AWAKE MAGAZINE of 8th September, 1957. I believe the Holy spirit is supposed to teach you the correct chapters and verses out of all these as being revealed cos jesus said he would told you all things that he never told you.

Your writers deceived you by telling you that you cant use the same measure to judge the two books having forgotten that both the Quran and the bible are claimed to be book of God. What other method do we use to measure the accuracy of the bible. I see no reason why the same method cant be applied to the two books if your writers are truthful and not hiding from the truth.

Also, are your writers trying to shift the blame on the imprint of human hands, varieties of languages, varieties in style of writing etc>, having forgotten that the Holy Quran went through the same process and has been in existence for more than 1400 years, yet no contradicting verse or chapters. Funny enough, you will see contradictions in bibles of different versions e.g KJV contradicting RSV ( eg. We Mathew 17v21, mark 9v44 etc in KJV but omitted in other bibles) and also contradictions from the same bible version (a chapter contradicting another in the same bible)!!!

Quran 17 v 88: say, “ if mankind and the jinn were together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another.

Quran 6v156-157: lest you (pagan arabs) should say “the Book was sent down only to two sects before us (the jews and the Christians), and for our part, we were in fact unaware of what they studied. (157): or lest you (pagan arabs) should say, “if only the Book had been sent down to us, we would surely have been better guided than they (jews and Christians)”. LEST I forget, before I continue on what the writers said, I will like to correct the wrong quotations from the Holy Quran.

Babyosis, let me ask you, what is the need hiding the truth. For what purpose and of what benefit will it be to you if you continue hiding the truth. Must your writers quote wrong verses to support their claims. Why cant they quote the right verses if they are truthful?

Quran 2 v 136: Quran 2v136: say (o muslims) we believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Yaqub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat (the offspring of the twelve sons of Yaqub (Jacob) and that which has been given to Musa (Moses) and Isa (Jesus) and that which has been given to the prophets from their Lord, we make no distinction between any of them and to Him we have submitted (in Islam).

Why cant the writers be sincere. Read the above verse very well, the verse is saying that we all Muslims believe in what was sent from Abraham to Jesus. They all came with one message and one religion. Let me ask you again, were Ishmael, Jacob, the disciples given any books? NO. So the verse is saying that we Muslims don’t discriminate against any prophets as you only accept Jesus ignoring others.

Also see the cleverness of your writers as in
QURAN 3 v3: it is HE who has sent down the book (the QURAN) to you (Muhammed (SAW) ) with truth, confirming what came before it. And he sent down the Taurat (Torah), and the Injeel (Gospel).

Where was it mention above that the Gospel and the Torah were guide to mankind? The QURAN confirmed Torah and Gospel but not this your present day Gospel full of contradictions, words of men, words of tree, irrelevant words etc.

Also in QURAN Sura Ma-ida 5:47,49,50,52; there is no place that says Christians must believe in their scriptures.

Your writer quoted Sura Ma-ida 5:68 which even tell you to accept the Holy Quran as in

Quran 5 v 68: And if only they had acted according to the Torah, the Gospel and what has now been sent down to them from their Lord (the Quran), they would surely have gotten provision from above them an from underneath their feet. There are from among them who are on the right course (they act on the revelation and believe in Prophet Muhammed (saw) but many of them do evil deeds.

Your writer quoted the below verse not taking their time to read properly. The verse was telling you Christians that the Holy Prophet Muhammed (saw) was mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel.

Here your clever writers go again with this
There are some Muslims, however, who contend that according to sura 2:140 the Jews and Christians had corrupted their scriptures. This ayah says (referring to the Jews), ", who is more unjust than those who conceal the testimony they have from Allah, ?" Yet, nowhere does this aya state that the Jews and Christians corrupted their scriptures. It merely mentions that certain Jews have concealed "the testimony they have from Allah." In other words the testimony is still there (thus the reason the afore-mentioned suras admonish Muslims to respect the former scriptures), though the adherents of that testimony have chosen to conceal it. If anything this aya is a ringing endorsement to the credibility of those former scriptures, as it assumes a testimony from Allah does exist amongst the Jewish community.

This is what we have in the chapter; it is referring to both Jews and Christians that are concealing the testimony (to believe in Prophet Muhammed (saw).

Quran 2 v 139-140: Say (O Muhammed (saw) to the jews and Christians), “dispute you with us about Allah while He is our Lord and your Lord? And we are to be rewarded for our deeds and you for your deeds. And we are sincere to Him (in worship and obedience, we worship Him alone and we obey His Orders. (140) Or say you that Abraham, Ishmael,Jacob….were jews or Christians? Say”do you know better or does Allah (know better….that they all were Muslims)? And who is more unjust than he who conceals the testimony (to believe in Prophet Muhammed (saw) when he comes, as it is written in their books (torah and Gospel) he has from Allah? And Allah is not unaware of what you do.”

Go through the response of the writers. Was he able to answer the question posed at him? NO. He was beating about the bush telling stories of how God incited David, and can someone tell him, what about satan mentioned in the other verse.

When you compare the two passages you will note that the wording is significantly different in 1 Chronicles 21 from that found in a 2 Samuel 24. In 2 Samuel 24:13 the question is "shell seven years of famine come to you?" In 1 Chronicles 21:12 we find an alternative imperative, "take for yourself either three years of famine, " From this we may reasonably conclude that 2 Samuel records the first approach of the prophet Gad to David, in which the alternative prospect was seven years; whereas the Chronicles account gives us the second and final approach of Nathan to the King, in which the Lord (doubtless in response to David's earnest entreaty in private prayer) reduced the severity of that grim alternative to three years rather than an entire span of seven. As it turned out, however, David opted for God's third preference, and thereby received three days of severe pestilence, resulting in the deaths of 70,000 men in Israel.

Has the writers forgotten that the two chapters refer to same thing and God didn’t tell David to choose between the two. The question is why a part saying three and another seven. Remember, God didn’t ask David to choose between the two. Both statements gave account of same happening. Did the writer provided answer? NO.I think READERS WOULD HAVE DEDUCE ONE OR TWO FROM HERE. 5. Was Ahaziah 22 (2 Kings 8:26) or 42 (2 Chronicles 22:2) when he began to rule over Jerusalem?

LOOK at the reply again,
Because we are dealing with accounts which were written thousands of years ago, we would not expect to have the originals in our possession today, as they would have disintegrated long ago. We are therefore dependent on the copies taken from copies of those originals, which were in turn continually copied out over a period of centuries. Those who did the copying were prone to making two types of scribal errors. One concerned the spelling of proper names, and the other had to do with numbers.

Let me ask you babyosis and havila, was the bible the only book that has been in existence 1,000 years ago? What of the Quran. Why are we still having no differences regardless of the authors as in the case of the bible? We must also remember that the scribes who were responsible for the copies were meticulously honest in handling Biblical texts. They delivered them as they received them, without changing even obvious mistakes, which are few indeed.

Once again there is enough information in the context of these two passages to tell us that 8 is wrong and 18 right. The age of 8 is unusually young to assume governmental leadership. However, there are certain commentators who contend that this can be entirely possible. They maintain that when Jehoiachin was eight years old, his father made him co-regent, so that he could be trained in the responsibilities of leading a kingdom. Jehoiachin then became officially a king at the age of eighteen, upon his father's death.

WHERE DID THEY CULL THE STORY FROM (THEIR OWN ASSUMTIONS) THAT 8 YEAR OLD BOY CAN’T BE KING HUH? HE WAS USING PRESENT DAY GENERATION TO JUDGE OLDEN DAYS.

As with many of these numerical discrepancies, it is the decade number that varies. It is instructive to observe that the number notations used by the Jewish settlers in the 5th century BC Elephantine Papyri, during the time of Ezra and Nehemiah, from which this passage comes, evidences the earlier form of numerical notation. This consisted of a horizontal stroke ending in a downward hook at its right end to represent the numbers in tens (thus two horizontal strokes one above the other would be 20). Vertical strokes were used to represent anything less than ten. Thus eight would be /III IIII, but eighteen would be /III IIII with the addition of a horizontal line and downward hook above it. Similarly twenty-two would be /I followed by two horizontal hooks, and forty-two would be /I followed by two sets of horizontal hooks (please forgive the deficiencies of my computer; it is not the scholar Dr. Archer is).
If, then, the primary manuscript from which a copy was being carried out was blurred or smudged, one or more of the decadal notations could be missed by the copyist. It is far less likely that the copyist would have mistakenly seen an extra ten stroke that was not present in his original then that he would have failed to observe one that had been smudged.

Here again, as we found in challenge number 2 and 4, the author of the Chronicles has been more specific with his numbering, whereas the author of Kings is simply rounding off the number of months, assuming that the additional ten days is not significant enough to mention.

This indeed is an odd question to raise. It is obvious that Shabbir Ally has misquoted the text in the 6th chapter of Genesis, which makes no mention of any 'clean' animals in its figure, while the 7th chapter specifically delineates between the clean and unclean animals. Genesis 7:2 says Noah was to bring in 7 pairs of 'clean' animals and 2 pairs of every kind of 'unclean' animal. Why did Shabbir not mention the second half of this verse which stipulates 2 pairs in his challenge? It is obvious that there is no discrepancy between the two accounts. The problem is the question itself.

WRITERS RESPONSE: There are two possible solutions to these differing figures. The first by Keil and Delitzsh (page 360) is a most convincing solution. They maintain that the word for chariotry (rekeb) was inadvertently omitted by the scribe in copying 2 Samuel 8:4, and that the second figure, 7,000 (for the parasim "cavalrymen"wink, was necessarily reduced to 700 from the 7,000 he saw in his Vorlage for the simple reason that no one would write 7,000 after he had written 1,000 in the recording the one and the same figure. The omission of rekeb might have occurred with an earlier scribe, and a reduction from 7,000 to 700 would have then continued with the successive copies by later scribes. But in all probability the Chronicles figure is right and the Samuel numbers should be corrected to agree with that.
A second solution starts from the premise that the number had been reduced to 700 as it refers to 700 rows, each consisting of 10 horse men, making a total of 7,000.

12. Did Solomon have 40,000 stalls for his horses (1 Kings 4:26), or 4,000 stalls (2 Chronicles 9:25)?


LO[b]OK AT THE RESPONSE TOO:[/b] Others believe that the stalls mentioned in 2 Chronicles were large ones that housed 10 horses each (that is, a row of ten stalls). Therefore 4,000 of these large stalls would be equivalent to 40,000 small ones.
Another commentator maintains that the number of stalls recorded in 1 Kings was the number at the beginning of Solomon's reign, whereas the number recorded in 2 Chronicles was the number of stalls at the end of his reign. We know that Solomon reigned for 40 years; no doubt, many changes occurred during this period. It is quite likely that he reduced the size of the military machine his father David had left him.

WHERE ARE THEY GETTING THESE STORIES FROM, THE BIBLE? NO. THE QUESTION WHY HAVING 40,000 AND ANOTHER 4,000. BUT THE WRITER SAID ITS QUITE LIKELY THAT HE MIGHT HAVE REDUCED THE SIZE OF THE ARMY. WHERE IS THAT WRITTEN? READERS HOPE YOU ARE ENJOYING IT.

There are two possible solutions to this problem. To begin with, scholars who have looked at these passages have concluded that the 36th year of Asa should be calculated from the withdrawal of the 10 tribes from Judah and Benjamin which brought about the division of the country into Judah and Israel. If we look at it from this perspective, the 36th year of the divided monarchy would be in the 16th year of Asa

With the group as large as the 3,300, sickness and death certainly did occur, requiring reserves who would be called up as the need arose.

WRITERS: The Hebrew verb rendered "contained" and "held" is different from that translated "received"; and the meaning may be that the sea ordinarily contained 2,000 baths. But when filled to its utmost capacity it received and held 3,000 baths. Thus the chronicler simply mentions the amount of water that would make the sea like a flowing spring rather than a still pool. This informs us that 3,000 gallons of water were required to completely fill the sea which usually held 2,000 gallons.

HERE, IT WANST MENTIONED IF IT WAS FILLED TO ITS CAPACITY. WHERE DID THEY (WRITERS) GET THE ASSUMPTIONS THAT SOLOMON WANTED TO BUILD SEA-LIKE FLOWING SPRING?.

16-21. Are the numbers of Israelites freed from Babylonian captivity correct in Ezra (Ezra 2:6, 8, 12, 15, 19, 28) or in Nehemiah (Nehemiah 7:11, 13, 17, 20, 22, 32)?

WRITERS: In chapter 2 of Ezra and in chapter 7 of Nehemiah there are about thirty-three family units that appear in both lists of Israelites returning from Babylon to Judea. Of these 33 family units listed in Ezra and Nehemiah, nineteen of the family units are identical, while fourteen show discrepancies in the number of members within the family units (though Shabbir only lists six of them). Two of the discrepancies differ by 1, one differs by 4, two by 6, two differ by 9, another differs by 11, another two by 100, another by 201, another differs by 105, a further family differs by 300, and the largest difference is the figure for the sons of Azgad, a difference of 1,100 between the accounts of Ezra 2 and Nehemiah 7.

VERY CLEVER HUH? MUDDLING THINGS UP.

22. Both Ezra 2:64 and Nehemiah 7:66 agree that the totals for the whole assembly was 42,360, yet when the totals are added, Ezra - 29,818 and Nehemiah - 31,089?

WRITERS:

There are possibly two answers to this seeming dilemma. The first is that this is most likely a copyist's error. The original texts must have had the correct totals, but somewhere along the line of transmission, a scribe made an error in one of the lists, and changed the total in the other so that they would match, without first totaling up the numbers for the families in each list. There is the suggestion that a later scribe upon copying out these lists purposely put down the totals for the whole assembly who were in Jerusalem at his time, which because it was later would have been larger.

When seen in this light, the 'contradiction' vanishes. 2 Chronicles 13:2 correctly states that Michaiah is a daughter of Uriel. We can assume that Uriel married Tamar, Absalom's only immediate daughter. Together they had Michaiah who then married king Rehoboam and became the mother of Abijah. 2 Chronicles 11:20 and 1 Kings 15:2, in stating that Maachah was a daughter of Absalom, simply link her back to her more famous grandfather, instead of her lesser known father, to indicate her royal lineage. Abishalom is a variant of Absalom and Michaiah is a variant of Maachah.

IS THIS ALLOWED CALLING YOU DAUGHTER OF YOUR GRANDFATHER INSTEAD OF YOUR REAL FATHER. IF YOUR FATHER’S NAME IS JOHN AND YOUR GANDFATHER’S NAME IS LUKE. DOES IT MAKE SENSE TO SAY BABYOSIS IS THE DAUGHTER OF LUKE? WILL U LIKE BEING CALLED BABYOSIS LUKE INSTEAD OF BABYOSIS JOHN? DEFENSIVE STRATEGY.

25. Joshua and the Israelites did (Joshua 10:23,40) or did not (Joshua 15:63) capture Jerusalem?

WRITERS:
In Joshua 10, it is the king of Jerusalem that is killed: his city is not captured (verses 16-18 and 22-26). The five Amorite kings and their armies left their cities and went to attack Gibeon. Joshua and the Israelites routed them and the five kings fled to the cave at Makkedah, from which Joshua's soldiers brought them to Joshua, who killed them all. Concerning their armies, verse 20 states: 'the few who were left reached their fortified cities', which clearly indicates that the cities were not captured. So it was the kings, not their cities, who were captured.

WHAT ARE THE WRITERS SAYING. THE QUESTION IS VERY GLARING. THE QUESTION IS NOT WHETHER THE KING WAS KILLED BUT WHETHER JERUSALAM WAS CAPTURED OR NOT.

The answer to this is simple but requires some explanation. Most scholars today agree that Matthew gives the genealogy of Joseph and Luke gives that of Mary, making Jacob the father of Joseph and Heli the father of Mary.

This is directly linked to 'contradiction' 26. Having shown that Matthew gives Joseph's genealogy and Luke gives that of Mary, it is clear that Joseph was descended from David through Solomon and Mary through Nathan.

Once again, this problem disappears when it is understood that two different genealogies are given from David to Jesus, those of both Mary and Joseph (see #26). Two different genealogies mean two different men named Shealtiel, a common Hebrew name. Therefore, it is not surprising to recognize that they both had different fathers!

WRITERS:
It should not surprise us that there was a Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel in both Mary's and Joseph's ancestry. Matthew tells us that Joseph's father was named Jacob. Of course, the Bible records another Joseph son of Jacob, who rose to become the second most powerful ruler in Egypt (Genesis 37-47). We see no need to suggest that these two men are one and the same, so we should have no problem with two men named Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel.

IS THE ABOVE IN LINE WITH THE QUESTION?

30. Was Joram (Matthew 1: or Amaziah (2 Chronicles 26:1) the father of Uzziah?

WRITERS:

This answer is of a similar nature to that in #24. Just as the Hebrew bat (daughter) can be used to denote a more distant descendant, so can the Hebrew ben (son). Jesus is referred to in Matthew 1:1 as the son of David, the son of Abraham. Both the genealogies trace Jesus' ancestry through both these men, illustrating the usage of 'son'. Although no Hebrew manuscripts of Matthew's gospel are extant today, it is clear that he was a Jew writing from a Hebrew perspective and therefore completely at home with the Hebrew concept of son ship.
With this in mind, it can easily be shown that Amaziah was the immediate father of Uzziah (also called Azariah). Joram/Jehoram, on the other hand, was Uzziah's great-great-grandfather and a direct ascendant. The line goes Joram/Jehoram - Ahaziah - Joash - Amaziah - Azariah/Uzziah (2 Chronicles 21:4-26:1).

BABYOSIS, OF WHAT RELEVANCE IS THE ABOVE TO THE QUESTION?

31. Was Josiah (Matthew 1:11) or Jehoiakim (1 Chronicles 3:16) the father of Jechoniah?
WRITER:
This question is essentially the same as #30. Jehoiakim was Jeconiah's father and Josiah his grandfather. This is quite acceptable and results from Matthew's aesthetic telescoping of the genealogy, not from any error.

As Matthew clearly states (1:17), there were fourteen. In the first section there are fourteen names, in the second fifteen and in the third, fourteen. Perhaps the simplest way of resolving the problem is to suggest that in the first and third sections, the first and last person is included as a generation, whereas not in the second. In any case, as Matthew has clearly telescoped his genealogy with good reason, a mistake on his part is by no means shown conclusively. If by some chance another name or two has been lost from the list in the originals, by scribal error, we cannot know. Whatever the real situation, a simple explanation can be afforded, as above.

THE WRITERS DIDN’T MENTION THE ISSUE OF THIRTEEN. WHICH DO WE ACCEPT? THIRTEEN OR FOURTEEN?

33. Who was the father of Shelah; Cainan (Luke 3:35-36) or Arphaxad (Genesis 11:12)?
WRITERS:
Although a conclusive answer is not possible, plausible explanations can be found. The most probable answer to this is that the genealogy in the Masoretic text of Genesis telescopes the generations as does Matthew in his list. When we look at the Septuagint (LXX), we find the name of Cainan included as the father of Shelah, echoing what we find in Luke. Luke, writing in Greek, would have used the Septuagint as his authority.
On that same note, if we refer to the Septuagint, when we look at Genesis 11:12 we find that Apharxad was 135 years old, rather than 35 (which would allow more time for him to be Shelah's grandfather).

IRRELEVANT STATEMENTS ABOVE. WHO WAS THE FATHER OF SHELAH?

34. John the Baptist was (Matthew 11:14; 17:10-13) or was not Elijah to come (John 1:19-21)?
WRITERS:
So, was John Elijah? No. But had the priests and Levites asked him, "Are you the one the prophet Malachi speaks of as 'Elijah'?" John would have responded affirmatively.
Jesus in Matthew 17:11-13 says that the prophecy of Malachi is true, but Elijah had already come. He says that this "Elijah" suffered, like he, Jesus will suffer; "the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist". Therefore, once we understand the context it is clear; John was not the literal Elijah, but he was the Elijah that the prophecy spoke of, the one who was to (and did) prepare the way for the Messiah, Jesus, "the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world", John 1:29.

LOOK AT THE STATEMENT. HE WAS NOT THE LITERAL ELIJAH BUT THE PROPHESIED ELIJAH!!!!,

35. Jesus would (Luke 1:32) or would not (Matthew 1:11; 1 Chronicles 3:16 & Jeremiah 36:30) inherit David's throne?
WRITERS:

This answer follows on directly from that to #26. Having shown that Matthew's genealogy is that of Joseph, it is obvious from Jeremiah 36:30 that none of Joseph's physical descendants were qualified to sit on David's throne as he himself was descended from Jeconiah. However, as Matthew makes clear, Jesus was not a physical descendant of Joseph. After having listed Joseph's genealogy with the problem of his descendance from Jeconiah, Matthew narrates the story of the virgin birth. Thus he proves how Jesus avoids the Jeconiah problem and remains able to sit on David's throne. Luke, on the other hand, shows that Jesus' true physical descendance was from David apart from Jeconiah, thus fully qualifying him to inherit the throne of his father David. The announcement of the angel in Luke 1:32 completes the picture: 'the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David'. This divine appointment, together with his physical descendance, make him the only rightful heir to David's throne.

THE TAIL END OF THIS STATEMENT CONCLUDED THAT JESUS WOULD. SO WHAT HAPPEN TO OTHER CHAPTERS THAT SAID HE WOULD NOT? ( MATHEW 1V11 ETC), HAVE THE WRITERS FORGOTTEN THAT JESUS SAID HIS KINGDOM IS NOT OF THE WORLD?

If Mark 16:1 is taken to mean that the women were hoping to do the whole burial process themselves, they would need the strips of linen as well, which are not mentioned. It is likely that they simply wished to perform their last act of devotion to their master by adding extra spices to those used by Joseph.

Well, thanks for the mail. Haven’t u been following threads on nairaland. Haven’t u been seeing and reading what your friends in the like of babyosis, forgiven, havila, davidylan etc have been against Islam, Holy Prophet and the Holy Quran?
Now, are u telling me that the book of Isaiah is the only book that contain the “real”words of God / what of other authors/ have they become irrelevant? and which words of God you told me was written through prophets.

If you don’t know, am not saying the bible is totally wrong, we were even told to believe in all scriptures but not the present bible of today cos it has been adulterated to suit the jews some Christian sects. You yourself will be aware that each denomination has its own bible designed to suit its method of worship ( eg deeper having king james version even compelling their follower to be using it, Jehovah witness having theirs, catholic having theirs and each has one or two chapters, verses different from each other etc) and it shouldn’t be like that and above is part of the adulteration that rendered the bible full of discrepancies etc. which bible did jesus used, was it king james version, new American bible, new English translation, revised standard version, Jehovah witness bible, catholic bible, good news etc? Also from what I posted up, you would have seen with all honesty that the bible contain the words of men, words of God, words of prophets, irrelevant words etc.

Why should a holy book contain two opposite things from the same bible, how do you inteprete that. Am not condemning the bible but its the truth, the earlier you accept, the better for you, I was once a Christian, ( but that’s not the issue for today that will be later). If you don’t know, the Holy Quran has been in existence for more than 1400 years yet you can see different versions giving different meanings like the case of bible in which a verse may say four while another one saying six. Is that part of inspiration. You and the rest surprised me a lot, having seen the truth, you failed to condemn the writers of your bibles but condemning the fellow that brought out the truth for you to see. I ask again is it part of inspiration that made them write different things. Permit me to contribute my quota on the above-mentioned issue.

Am not trying to condemn one at the expense of other but to shed some lights on some of the problems facing poly graduates and also state university graduates and the way forward for Nigerian educational system.

There is this widespread discrimination of Polytechnics graduates as against University graduates, Federal Universities against State Universities, Federal Polytechnic against State Polytechnic.

Though u may blame many organizations contributing to the discriminatory acts but sincerely speaking, the discrimination is being caused by the way Nigerian educational system has been set up right from inception and I don’t think anything can be done on that.

Should there be any difference between University graduates (be it state or Federal) or between State and Federal polytechnics? There shouldn’t be.

Some are ashamed when telling people where they graduated from. What is the stigma in having HND or going to State Universities?

Why do employer of labour accept Universities graduates and rejects polytechnic graduates. Some of the reasons include (if not all):

1. The Nigerian Education gave more priorities to University graduates than Polytechnic graduates.
2. It may be as a result of running Masters programmes and PhDs.
3. They believe Polytechnics are inferior to Universities.
4. They have professors that lecture them.
5. they use it as a yard stick in short listing, or probably reducing applicants.
6. and so on. Please add if you know more.

So now lets go into the issue proper

Let me ask this question, what is the future of Nigerian education with the way things are going. I learnt with great disappointment what Nigerian Banks are doing to polytechnic graduates and State university graduate. Some banks laid off their workers because of their educational background forgetting that some of the big names in banking sector graduated from State universities and Polytechnics. We also have GM's ED's and MD's that graduated from Polytechnics and also from State Universities in some corporate organizations in Nigeria including banks.

Can someone pls tell me , what is the yardstick used in detecting that Federal University graduates perform better than the rest?

Or is it because polytechnics in Nigeria don't have the constitutional backings to run Masters and PhD programs.

It is even alarming to hear that you need to go extra year at the university for PGD before you can go for Bsc., though some Universities accept distinction and Upper only. But can somebody tell me, why the need for PGD when u have already spent five years or more at the polytechnic. What’s the need of going for additional 1 year at university when they say they are both on the same level?

Now, am not trying to discriminate. Some people do say its only the Engineering products of polytechnics that are more better cos they do more of practical than Universities and that Universities are better off than Polytechnics in theory. Let me add this, has anyone seen and compared polytechnic course outline right from ND 1 till Hnd compared to University from 100 level. Polytechnics tend to do more courses than universities (quote me wrong).

It is being said that polytechnics do more of practical while universities do more of theory.i.e HND is a qualification with technical bias while the university degree is a theoretical qualification.
Even if this is applied, we can’t categorically say that university will be better off compared to polytechnic. I believe it s based on individual and also the lecturer that handle the course. For example, a lower credit holder in one school may become a distinction holder in another school while a distinction holder in one school may come out with pass in another school. Also a 2.1 holder in one school may come with third class in another school and vice versa. The same principle applies to state university as against federal.

To buttress my point, I graduated from a polytechnic, even state polytechnic (Laspotech to be precise. They have some of their products doing well in organizations. I came out with upper credit (3.30) which I know if its some schools, it would have graduated with distinction as a result of their making scheme and other factors. I have my job, also respected in my organization as a result of my contribution towards the achievement of organizational objectives. Now, during my days at the polytechnic, I do runs i.e going as far as Unilag, Lasu, OOU to sit for student writing exams. I noticed that when I got to exams hall and given the questions papers, most of the questions were not different from what I have been facing in polytechnics and some of the questions were not detailed as supposed to be. (pls am not discriminating or trying to prove too know but trying to make sense). Also there is nothing Bsc holder can’t do that I cannot do too even better.
Secondly in my organization, I happen to be part of the recruitment, selection and placement team. We do give both polytechnic and university equal opportunity to prove his or her worth. But noticed that some polytechnic graduates do perform better than universities for the fact that there is this inferiority complex among some of the polytechnic graduates and as a result tends to put extra effort in proving his/her worth in which at the long run he/she is chosen for the job having defended his/her result. Here, the Federal universities believes having graduated from federal school would provide better chance (though it does to some extent) but unknowingly he/she has greater role to play cos he must be able to defend the federal result because going through applicant’s cv, one of the thing that strikes or catches your intention is the school of the applicant. Some university graduates find it difficult to solve simple problems in their areas of specialization while Hnd does. Am not saying all polytechnics are better off than university but they should all be placed on the same level playing ground The reason for this statement is that it is being said that university is better off than polytechnic. but I believe what makes you a professional are the skills (human, technical and conceptual skills) you have acquired which you can use to make positive changes to improve the well-being of the society and your country.

Now lets go to Nigeria in terms of corporate organizations (employment) and not in the academics. I know of people who had masters but because of their HND background, they never got beyond a particular level. He/she may not be able to rise above a certain position if he does not upgrade his/her qualification. It is being said that people go to polytechnics cos they lack university prerequisites and also fail jamb. Though I agree some do but some do go to polytechnic cos of the experience derived through Siwes and Industrial Training and also cos of the courses done in polytechnics. The discrimination against Hnd graduates exist and there's also a stigma associated to it in the Corporate world in Nigeria unless it’s a company in which you can rise from the position of an office assistant to Managing Director, but if not, u remain where you are in an organisation and I don’t think it can be reversed.

One of the major difference between university and polytechnic graduates is the way it is perceived in the society and honestly some polytechnic graduates have this inferiority complex. Having forgotten that perception of yourself is a determines your altitude. Have u also forgotten that the one in you makes you the you in you. It is disgusting how we use paper work to set standard as against acquired skills in getting the best person to do the job.

Now having said the above, I believe sooner, Nigerian educational will crumble. The fall will be caused majorly by corporate organizations that adopt the method of using paper work in their selection and particularly National Assembly for their failure in listening to the cries of graduates in this country. Paper work like, the applicant must be from federal university, must have 2.1 or 2.2 thereby sidelining other degree others and polytechnics even if you have distinction.

Now, as this is happening, there is declining population in Nigerian polytechnics while there is massive increase in the number of students seeking admission to universities. The reason not far-fetched from the fact that it is believed by some that polytechnics are being considered as a waste of time, state universities not having standard up to federal universities and that federal universities is the best etc.

Students will be interested in paper work not concerned about the skill so far its federal universities. Also, students in their quest for good grade, will turn to bribery, cultism, and other illegal means of acquiring goo grade at all cost. When this happen, universities certificates will turn to mere paper work cos of students’ quest for good grade not minding how its being got. On the other hand, polytechnics will be thriving well as a result of the inferiority complex, low turn out of students etc. this will make the few students sit tight, facing their studies, and work towards achieving good grade in order to be able to face their counter parts in the Nigerian labour market. Lecturers will want to prove to Nigerians that polytechnics is the best thereby putting additional effort in bringing out the best out of the polytechnic graduates. When this happens, education in Nigeria will be falling and graduates will not be able to meet up to expectation. This will lead to disgrace within and outside the shore of Nigerian.

Conclusively, based on all the above, am not trying to say that polytechnic is not good or university is the best, but each should be given equal opportunity to defend himself/herself in the labour market. Some polytechnics graduates do better than universities and vice versa. So paper work shouldn’t be use as a yard stick in determining the best.

Also I think what the government should do is that due to the massive discrimination of polytechnic graduates, the government should either increase some courses in the curricular or do something that will make both equal or turn all polytechnics to universities and also pass the bill that will give them equal rights everywhere in corporate settings. If government cannot do this, it will be better for government to scrap polytechnics rather than subjecting polytechnic graduates to all sort of discrimination. Some polytechnic graduates are better than university graduates but their school (or paper work out) wont allow them a step forward.

Now to banks, I believe not all their investors are from universities, we also have polytechnic graduates. The polytechnics graduates should have their money withdrawn from those banks that discriminate. I believe if this is done, it will instill a sort of seriousness on the part of the banks cos some of the banks MD graduated from polytechnics or state universities, so why the discrimination. Should this be used a yardstick for selection? No I disagree. Let everybody be given equal opportunity.

I believe if this is done, Nigerian society will be better off in terms of technical skills and employment of competent staffs that will move this Nigeria forward and stop the discrimination and over reliance on paper work.

I still need more contributions pls, we need to come out and say our view on the current happenings and proffer the solution to it thereby moving Nigeria forward. Your opinion may be different from mine but it is allowed. We need to share ideas. Thank you

Furthermore, it is also in the last ten days we have the Laelatul Quadri (Night of Majesty) in which the reward therein is better then 1,000 months , meaning we should endeavour to benefit from this holy month because we may never have the opportunity again in our life to witness another Ramadhan.

This is the night in which whatever you ask Allah, He will surely do it for you and its also the month in which your not too good destiny will be changed. Its also the time when the angels will be supplicating for you asking for Alah mercies and Blessings on all muslims.
Please my brothers and sisters in Islam, lets make use of this opportunity and search for the Night of Majesty in total submission to His will. Lets pray in the middle of the night more than we’ve been doing, Lets supplicate for Him more than before. He is closer to us than our jugular vein, there is no help from anywhere except from Him, why not call on him to solve your problems for you. He is the only One that saves.

Many Times Christians post passages from the Quran on war and say that Islam is not valid because of them because of the violence. Christians say Muhammad cannot be a prophet because he fought in wars and killed people, they say Jesus never ordered killing anyone nor harming any one, and that their God (or Jesus being God to some Christians) is loving and not a killer. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land. 32 Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz. 33 And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people. 34 And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain. 36 From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us

So Moses and his army killed women and children. Moses broke the 6th commmandment, thou shall not kill ANYONE. Or I see, when its in war it okay? Yet when Muslims say the 6th commandment is followed, but in war its different, Christians say nooooo. Either way, The Quran does not say kill women and children, I CHALLENGE ANY CHRISTIAN TO BRING THE VERSE RIGHT NOW. We see it in your Bible, one of your greatest prophets killing women and children by God's permission, meaning God allowed it! So hence God of the Bible (Or God Jesus as termed by some Christians) was responsible for killing women and children, and so was Moses so according to the Christians own argument, Moses cannot be a prophet since he killed. Note Moses and his army did this to many cities, verse 37 says there was not one city which was strong enough in the plural sense, hence up to 6 or 7 cities were destroyed with its women and children? What is the Christian response?

1 Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei. 2 And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon. 3 So the LORD our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining. 4 And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan. 5 All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many. 6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city. 7 But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves[/b]

Notice the killing spree, scores of cities were raided by Moses and his army by the permission of GOD in the Bible (Or God Jesus as termed by some Christians), and they killed women and children! What does the Christian have to say to this?

So note, God in the Bible (Or God Jesus as termed by some Christians) allows Moses to completely destroy cities and show NO MERCY, NO MERCY AT ALL meaning you can do whatever you want to them. Not only that, Jesus orders Moses and his army to destroy all their images and their places of worship, so much for religious tolerance among Christians. So once again we see Moses killing with NO MERCY as God in the bible (Or God Jesus as termed by some Christians) ordered, we also see no tolerance of other religions, something which Christians rant about Islam! This proves which religion is the in-tolerant one, it is the Christian, their God is in-tolerant to other religions as you see.

6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; 7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; 8 Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: 9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. 10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 11 And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.

12 If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying, 13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known; 14 Then shalt thou inquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you; 15 Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword. 16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again. 17 And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and show thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers; 18 When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy [/b] God.

Once again we the tolerance of the Christian God (Or God Jesus as termed by some Christians). In these passages God says that anyone who worships others Gods wherever they be must be killed. Even if your antartica and you worship some pagan deity you shall be put to death. As the verse says, to the ends of the world, meaning all over the world, so there is no tolerance in the religion. God (Or God Jesus as termed by some Christians) orders his followers to stone the ones who don’t believe in him, and to kill them, and to destroy the city with the sword and burn it and never rebuild it. The ending of the paragraph is very interesting, God tells his followers TO KEEP all his commandments which include this one! To kill others who dont believe in him, so hence no religous tolerance. So this rule STILL APPLIES TODAY, because their God said:

keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.

Or did God change his mind? The God of the OT (Old Testament) does NOT change his mind:

"God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?" Numbers 23:19
He who is the Glory of Israel does not lie or change his mind; for he is not a man, that he should change his mind." 1 Samuel 15:29

So hence the Christian God doesn’t change his mind so this rule still applies today, so Christians are still ordered to kill us!

And it its answer to you is peace and opens to you, then all the people who are found in it shall do forced labour for you and shall serve you. But if it makes no peace with you, THEN U SHALL BESIEGE IT, U SHALL PUT ALL THE MALES TO THE SWORD, but the women and the little ones, the cattle and everything else in the city all its spoils, u shall TAKE AS BOOTY FOR YOURSELVES AND U SHALL ENJOY THE SPOIL OF YOUR ENEMIES.[/b]

Kill all their men, leave women and little ones and else and take their property. How could God of the Christians do this?

Chapter 21
18-22

18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them: 19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place; 20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. 21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear. 22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree


I wonder what Christians have to say about that? So as you can see, a bad kid is stoned, and bad men are hanged on trees for all to see. I would really love to see what Christians have to say to these verses. Remember the God that the Christians believe in is the same God of the OT, so hence this is God (Or God Jesus as termed by some Christians) making these commands. So God commanded people to kill their bad kids, to kill bad people and hang them on a tree.

25-29

25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die. 26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbor, and slayeth him, even so is this matter: 27 For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her. 28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; 29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days


So as you can see, rape is allowed in certain cases. When the victim is a virgin, she must marry the rapist, if the victim is not a virgin then the rapist is put to death. This law is a shame and insult to rape victims, you bring me one single lady who would want to marry her rapist, and if Christians even try to defend this then they are even more sick and their own book which says it is okay. So hence you now see that the Christian God (Or God Jesus as termed by some Christians) allowed rape in certain cases, this is why America separated Church and state, because Christian laws are sick as you can see.

1-4
1 He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD. 2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD. 3 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever: 4 Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee


Now why can’t these people go into the congregation of the lord? What happened to the God who hears all, and accepts all? It seems at one time God did not like bastards, and did not like men without their private parts! I wonder what the Christian has to say to this. Why cannot Ammonites and Moabites go into the congregation of the lord? What again happened to the God who loves all and hears all? It seems that the Christian God (Or God Jesus as termed by some Christians) is not very loving after all and that Christians have been spreading a myth about their God. Anyway, can we really accept such rubbish like this?

Chapter 25
1-3

1 If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked. 2 And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number. 3 Forty stripes he may give him, and not exceed: lest, if he should exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile unto thee


Now I can understand that punishments like this can be carried on, the reason I post this is because CHRISTIANS do not accept things like this. When they read in the Quran that it says lash the ones who commit illegal sexual intercourse, the Christians start ranting how can you do such a thing! That’s so evil!!!!!! So I am just using their own argument against them, so as we see, the punishment of beating a sinner is in their own book. Hence based on their own arguments and own criteria, their book and God is not peaceful and is evil, and who is this God?

Now the reason I post this is because Christians claim Islam is not peaceful because Allah Warns of punishing people who don’t follow him etc. Now since Christians believe that, then using their own criteria and own arguments then the verses I just posted show that it is in fact their God who is violent and non peaceful because as you can see he will punish those who don’t follow them in a very harsh manner. So Christians should not throw stones if they live in a glass house, and they do live in a glass house. I wonder what Christians will have to see about these verses, I mean he does believe in this God who is warning of these punishments, if Christians have a problem with Allah punishing people then why don’t they have a problem with their own God when he says he will punish people? So hence Christians must now admit their God is violent and not peaceful since they say Allah cant be God because of his wrath and punishments, if Christians do not admit it then they can no longer argue against Islam, if they continue to use this silly argument on Islam then they must leave their own religion. So they are in a bad dilemma now, attack Islam and leave Christianity or don’t attack Islam and therefore have nothing much to attack Islam on. wink

Now let me make it easier for the reader, I will basically post what the Christian God will do as a punishment to those who wouldn’t follow him:

1- God will cause his people to murdered and massacred, and they will flee in all directions.

2- People will beget children but will not be able to enjoy them because they will be sent into slavery.

3- People's children shall be given to other people and the parents will wish they could have them back but they wont.

4- cannibalism, yes cannibalism! 53 And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee

5- God will send diseases to the people

6- You will get married, and your wife will sleep with other men.

These are some of the punishments that the God of the Bible will do to his people if they dont follow him.

Chapter 31
7-12

7 And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males. 8 And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword. 9 And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods. 10 And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire. 11 And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts. 12 And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho.


I wonder what Christians have to say about this? Using their own criteria against them this makes their God a false violent God. So once again Christians should not throw stones if they live in a glass house.

17-18

17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. 18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves

What do Christians have to say to this? This is their God commanding Moses to kill the women and CHILDREN and to keep the virgins alive.

8 And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof; 9 And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you. 10 For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed. 11 And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath. 12 Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the LORD, since I have showed you kindness, that ye will also show kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token: 13 And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death. 14 And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee. 15 Then she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall. 16 And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way. 17 And the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear. 18 Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee. 19 And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him. 20 And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear. 21 And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.[/b]

Now several things to note, notice how the people are so scared of Joshua's people. They are all filled with terror because of the acts commited by Moses and Joshua under God's commands. Now what do Christians have to say about this? Look how their God installed terror into the hearts of everyone, women and children, and these people had no hope of survival! Even if they were kids and women who did not do anything. This is enough evidence of the terror that was going around under God's command.

So Joshua and his army storm a city, they kill everyone as usual except the harlot and her family. Is this not terror?

1 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land: 2 And thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king: only the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: lay thee an ambush for the city behind it.

3 So Joshua arose, and all the people of war, to go up against Ai: and Joshua chose out thirty thousand mighty men of valor, and sent them away by night. 4 And he commanded them, saying, Behold, ye shall lie in wait against the city, even behind the city: go not very far from the city, but be ye all ready: 5 And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will flee before them, 6 (For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They flee before us, as at the first: therefore we will flee before them. 7 Then ye shall rise up from the ambush, and seize upon the city: for the LORD your God will deliver it into your hand. 8 And it shall be, when ye have taken the city, that ye shall set the city on fire: according to the commandment of the LORD shall ye do. See, I have commanded you. 9 Joshua therefore sent them forth: and they went to lie in ambush, and abode between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of Ai: but Joshua lodged that night among the people. 10 And Joshua rose up early in the morning, and numbered the people, and went up, he and the elders of Israel, before the people to Ai. 11 And all the people, even the people of war that were with him, went up, and drew nigh, and came before the city, and pitched on the north side of Ai: now there was a valley between them and Ai. 12 And he took about five thousand men, and set them to lie in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of the city. 13 And when they had set the people, even all the host that was on the north of the city, and their liers in wait on the west of the city, Joshua went that night into the midst of the valley. 14 And it came to pass, when the king of Ai saw it, that they hasted and rose up early, and the men of the city went out against Israel to battle, he and all his people, at a time appointed, before the plain; but he wist not that there were liers in ambush against him behind the city. 15 And Joshua and all Israel made as if they were beaten before them, and fled by the way of the wilderness. 16 And all the people that were in Ai were called together to pursue after them: and they pursued after Joshua, and were drawn away from the city. 17 And there was not a man left in Ai or Bethel that went not out after Israel: and they left the city open, and pursued after Israel. 18 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Stretch out the spear that is in thy hand toward Ai; for I will give it into thine hand. And Joshua stretched out the spear that he had in his hand toward the city. 19 And the ambush arose quickly out of their place, and they ran as soon as he had stretched out his hand: and they entered into the city, and took it, and hasted and set the city on fire. 20 And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to flee this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers. 21 And when Joshua and all Israel saw that the ambush had taken the city, and that the smoke of the city ascended, then they turned again, and slew the men of Ai. 22 And the other issued out of the city against them; so they were in the midst of Israel, some on this side, and some on that side: and they smote them, so that they let none of them remain or escape.

23 And the king of Ai they took alive, and brought him to Joshua. 24 And it came to pass, when Israel had made an end of slaying all the inhabitants of Ai in the field, in the wilderness wherein they chased them, and when they were all fallen on the edge of the sword, until they were consumed, that all the Israelites returned unto Ai, and smote it with the edge of the sword. 25 And so it was, that all that fell that day, both of men and women, were twelve thousand, even all the men of Ai. 26 For Joshua drew not his hand back, wherewith he stretched out the spear, until he had utterly destroyed all the inhabitants of Ai. 27 Only the cattle and the spoil of that city Israel took for a prey unto themselves, according unto the word of the LORD which he commanded Joshua. 28 And Joshua burnt Ai, and made it an heap for ever, even a desolation unto this day. 29 And the king of Ai he hanged on a tree until eventide: and as soon as the sun was down, Joshua commanded that they should take his carcass down from the tree, and cast it at the entering of the gate of the city, and raise thereon a great heap of stones, that remaineth unto this day.[/b]

28 And that day Joshua took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof he utterly destroyed, them, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain: and he did to the king of Makkedah as he did unto the king of Jericho. 29 Then Joshua passed from Makkedah, and all Israel with him, unto Libnah, and fought against Libnah: 30 And the LORD delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain in it; but did unto the king thereof as he did unto the king of Jericho. 31 And Joshua passed from Libnah, and all Israel with him, unto Lachish, and encamped against it, and fought against it: 32 And the LORD delivered Lachish into the hand of Israel, which took it on the second day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein, according to all that he had done to Libnah. 33 Then Horam king of Gezer came up to help Lachish; and Joshua smote him and his people, until he had left him none remaining. 34 And from Lachish Joshua passed unto Eglon, and all Israel with him; and they encamped against it, and fought against it: 35 And they took it on that day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein he utterly destroyed that day, according to all that he had done to Lachish. 36 And Joshua went up from Eglon, and all Israel with him, unto Hebron; and they fought against it: 37 And they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof, and all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but destroyed it utterly, and all the souls that were therein. 38 And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to Debir; and fought against it: 39 And he took it, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining: as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir, and to the king thereof; as he had done also to Libnah, and to her king. 40 So Joshua smote all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the vale, and of the springs, and all their kings: he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the LORD God of Israel commanded. 41 And Joshua smote them from Kadeshbarnea even unto Gaza, and all the country of Goshen, even unto Gibeon. 42 And all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel. 43 And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, unto the camp to Gilgal.[/b]

Same old story, more massacres, leaving NO SOULS ALIVE. I wonder what Christians have to say to this? They cannot say anything, they believe this happened, and they believe in this God who some claim to be Jesus.

The tribe of Benjamin, however, failed to drive out the Jebusites, who were living in Jerusalem. So to this day the Jebusites live in Jerusalem among the people of Benjamin. The descendants of Joseph attacked the town of Bethel, and the LORD was with them. They sent spies to Bethel (formerly known as Luz), who confronted a man coming out of the city. They said to him, "Show us a way into the city, and we will have mercy on you." So he showed them a way in, and they killed everyone in the city except for this man and his family. Later the man moved to the land of the Hittites, where he built a city. He named the city Luz, and it is known by that name to this day. The tribe of Manasseh failed to drive out the people living in Beth-shan, Taanach, Dor, Ibleam, Megiddo, and their surrounding villages, because the Canaanites were determined to stay in that region.
When the Israelites grew stronger, they forced the Canaanites to work as slaves, but they never did drive them out of the land. The tribe of Ephraim also failed to drive out the Canaanites living in Gezer, and so the Canaanites continued to live there among them. The tribe of Zebulun also failed to drive out the Canaanites living in Kitron and Nahalol, who continued to live among them. But they forced them to work as slaves. The tribe of Asher also failed to drive out the residents of Acco, Sidon, Ahlab, Aczib, Helbah, Aphik, and Rehob. In fact, because they did not drive them out, the Canaanites dominated the land where the people of Asher lived. The tribe of Naphtali also failed to drive out the residents of Beth-shemesh and Beth-anath. Instead, the Canaanites dominated the land where they lived. Nevertheless, the people of Beth-shemesh and Beth-anath were sometimes forced to work as slaves for the people of Naphtali. As for the tribe of Dan, the Amorites forced them into the hill country and would not let them come down into the plains. The Amorites were determined to stay in Mount Heres, Aijalon, and Shaalbim, but when the descendants of Joseph became stronger, they forced the Amorites to work as slaves. [/b]

"Defile the Temple!" the LORD commanded. "Fill its courtyards with the bodies of those you kill! Go!" So they went throughout the city and did as they were told."

"You are my battle-ax and sword," says the LORD. "With you I will shatter nations and destroy many kingdoms. With you I will shatter armies, destroying the horse and rider, the chariot and charioteer. With you I will shatter men and women, old people and children, young men and maidens. With you I will shatter shepherds and flocks, farmers and oxen, captains and rulers. "As you watch, I will repay Babylon and the people of Babylonia for all the wrong they have done to my people in Jerusalem," says the LORD. "Look, O mighty mountain, destroyer of the earth! I am your enemy," says the LORD. "I will raise my fist against you, to roll you down from the heights. When I am finished, you will be nothing but a heap of rubble. You will be desolate forever. Even your stones will never again be used for building. You will be completely wiped out," says the LORD.


Another massacre, same old story.

Isaiah 13:15-18
Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children.


It seem it gets from bad to worse!

1 Kings 13:1-2
At the LORD's command, a man of God from Judah went to Bethel, and he arrived there just as Jeroboam was approaching the altar to offer a sacrifice. Then at the LORD's command, he shouted, "O altar, altar! This is what the LORD says: A child named Josiah will be born into the dynasty of David. On you he will sacrifice the priests from the pagan shrines who come here to burn incense, and human bones will be burned on you."

Leviticus 25:44-46
However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way.


This is how Christians made it okay for slavery, their Bible allows it, so why shouldn’t they do it? They are just doing what their book allows them to do.

Exodus 21:7-11
When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment.


This is a sex slave. If she doesn’t please the master? How is she supposed to please him? Now you know why the sex trade is so popular in Europe and Christian countries, because their book allows it! They are merely doing what their book allows.

Exodus 21:20-21
When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property


So you can beat the hell out of your slave as long as the slave does not die, this is straight from the Bible. What is this madness?

What is their offence towards God?

And they took all women as captives and their little ones, and they took the spoil of all their cattle and all their flocks and all their goods. And they burnt all the cities wherein they dwelt and all their goodly castles with fire. Moses said,’HAVE U SAVED ALL THE WOMEN ALIVE? NOW KILL EVERY MALE AMONG THE LITTLE ONES AND KILL EVERY WOMAN THAT HAS KNOWN MAN BY LYING WITH HIM BUT ALL THE YOUNG GIRLS WHO HAVE NOT KNOWN A MAN BY LYING WITH HIM KEEP ALIVE FOR YOURSELVES.

Amos 9v1: I will SLAY that left of them unto the SWORD, not one of them shall flee away. I will command the SWORD, and it shall SLAY THEM.

Jeremiah 49v37: I will send the SWORD after them until I have CONSUMED them.

They will be divided, father against son, son against father, mother against daughter, daughter against mother.

Mathew 10v34: do not think I have come to make peace on earth. I have not come to make peace but a SWORD. For I have come to set man against his father and a daughter against her mother.


Luke 19v27: for those enemies of mine who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and SLAY THEM HERE AND SLAY THEM THERE BEFORE ME .

OH NO!. ALL THESE SAID BY JESUS ALONE.

I think these should do, this without a doubt proves that the Bible that the Christians hold is nothing but a terror book without a doubt. I challenge any Christian to come and tell me those verses, which I posted are not evil and not terrorism, I CHALLENGE YOU TO SAY IT! This is a filth book, which must be banned!
