Whatever the naming could be but iPhone 10 isn't a naming strategy but rather the iPhone 8 is.
iPhone 8 is a same with iPhone 7 with just wireless charging capability enabled. It's should have been called 7s but people wouldnt give a fck abt it cos it looked exactly the same as it's predecessors ( iphone 6, 6s).


What kinda things does iPhones handles better without further complexity?

Yeah i don't carry my phones out late or to very strange environments.. i use a small Nokia for that.. I don't think your excuse about screen breaking is substantial unless you have very shaky hands as this highend phones are really durable..

AR isn't there yet but iPhone X supports ARKit while S8 supports ARCore
