Attached is the section of my roof plan that addressed this. High = 3.856, low = 3.200, difference is .656 metres which is about 2.2 feet.

I will be converting the roof to hip roof later on when this one wears out.

Thanks Big Eguns, maybe the carpentar wants a slope for easy water runoff on the roof.

What is the principle of this roofing style that slopes from front to back. Like a gradient
In a layman explanations what is the height of the block's in the front vs the block's at the back.
