My friend, it was a misconception and since our people do fear to challenge such stories due to fear of the unknown, they kept it like that until many now found out the truth.

My next question is"what will happen to anyone who violates such rule?"

I have been in your shoe reason that way not untill I had infection of staphylococcus on my left thigh causing me acute osteomyelitis (bone infection) 15 yrs ago, I was 13 years back, poor me, what did I know, I was not that privilege to exposed at that teen age.
My left thigh started to swell that time without I had accident or fall, very big swell that I couldn't walk for six months untill I got it treated by one maternity clinic's nurse, she treated me with anti-biotic drug. I was not diagnosed back then.

So after 2 years the swollen came back, that was when it got them worried, it kind of weird to them, they been like "how could this thing got back, person wey no get accident, wey no fall and have injury".
Due to everybody of my families are spiritiualist, they believed this coming back was not ordinary, it must be the handwork of enemy of progress that fashioned the arrow against me, they said they want to hinder my progress. LOL, that's what they used to tell every people go to them for their consultation. Funny things about them is, they would see you were being attacked by random person but they would failed to tell you the person, hahaha, bunches of fools and comedian. The smart among them would mention your mother, your wife, any of your relative they know as your enemy to authenticate their seen when you pressurize them to tell you the person behind your misfortune unless you will take them for fake and they would never let that happened.

So, that was how we started with them, doing sacrifices and appeasements upon and upon, going to them from one place to others when they would be saying those witches were powerful than them and they have been warned to withdrawn unless they would pay with their life or their loved one relative.
That was how we spent money, energy and time on fruitless things that makes no improvement rather than gotten worst and badly damaged. The money we supposed used for diagnosis and better treatment got wasted because of this archaic reasoning.

Now i'm left with chronic osteomyelitis with severes fracture on my thigh because many things have happened back then, I don't know if na amputation would be my fate now.

I finally converted one of them last week... He had ear pain, and his friends were telling him it was an attack to kill his music career.
