I have 3 pieces of advice for you @OP. 1. Edit the subject of the thread to "My Younger Sister Threatens To Leak My Secret". Now that shouldn't be too difficult yea? 2. Call your husband and tell him about your past, every secret you have failed to tell him. He deserves to know. And do it quickly. I tell you, it will be easier to forgive if he hears it directly from you as against hearing it from someone else. (Though IMO, you should have told him even before u guys got married). 3. As soon as you are sure of your husband's forgiveness, send that ur sister packing. If you can still assist her by helping her pay for an apartment, all well and good; if you can't, fine. Just send her out cos she shouldn't be living with you and your family. All the best. #BackOff |

ivyT:Nope. Most ladies hold on to it. Even when the guy has treated them badly. #VerySure |
Though very rare, but it's possible. Most times, one will always have feelings for the other. Some genuine, others pure lust. Whether he has the courage to say or not is a topic for ànother day. However, most of the true male/female best friends are born through communication and setting of boundaries. Eventually, one realizes he cherishes the friendship more than wanting more. It's easier to say you have male/female friends, but do you really know how they feel inside? It might not be you who wants more, it just might be the other person. If anyone is very sure about this, carry out that (KISS) test and see what happens. |
@op Mind if I ask what good thing you're expecting to come out of the mouth of an "ex"? Everyone has a past. You also have a past. The rule of thumb is, never dwell on the past. I understand the angle you're coming from, but that's why nobody should just jump into marriage. There's time for relationship and probably courtship. That is the time you have to study and know who he/she truly is. Someone's true character cannot be hidden for too long. But having to dig up their past somehow isn't necessary to me. Whatever happened in the past is in the past. What I have now is all I'm interested in. If you must know about his/her past, know it from him/her and not from the ex. Give them a chance to tell you all about their past and reassure them you won't judge them for it. You'll get everything or almost everything you need to know. Cheers. |
haibe:Hey bro! There's nothing wrong in walking away. It's a free world remember ![]() |
