Just finished Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. I actually liked it.

till date, I have not passed the 10 minutes mark on that movie

I've accepted that I'll never complete it

Even if na 10-0...I will never rule out Madrid

Their jazz is strong...they can play nonsense for 89mins and 1 shot or one error, game will change

Its not just Netflix, I just remembered that stupîd woman king movie that they made where they were trying to portray the Dahomey as saints when anyone can easily look up their history and see what horrible greedy bastàrds they were. And yeah you could tell what they were trying to do from the trailer. You don't need to waste hours of your time watching that nonsense to see that they are trying to twist history and feed you garbage.

And this one is a docu like that one was supposed to be based on true events. 😒

I enjoyed the movie because I knew nothing about the real history and I didn't research it

But I heard later about how totally false it was...
About how they protagonists were actually the bad guys in real history

What shocked me the most was how the Dahomey actually lost so many warriors...I heard about 500 warriors just to kill about 6 french soliders in war


But the movie made them look super strong and brave meanwhile they failed massively in real life...they were cooked massively

I read a short story about the book years ago

you literally just dropped spoilers...

They're lying about the riot and how their history was destroyed...
If the air is poisoned, they themselves are responsible or know who is responsible...

Don't drop spoilers but I honestly believe there is a civilization outside the Silo...
Maybe only an area around the Silo is poisoned

I just started episode 2 of Silo

I have a suspicion that there is poison in the helmet itself and not the air outside

It's giving me AOT vibes that there's a world out there...maybe even a full civilization

But then where I am, they're talking about sending those who want to go outside...sending them outside...which means something is actually outside

They know that caging people forever will never work, people will riot...and besides it works as population control

My guess is the Silo was built for an experiment... something like what happened in Claymore...

If it was just the air being toxic, how did the humans have enough time to build a full underground Silo while on the brink of a full disaster?

I tried watching the first ten minutes of Cleopatra, I was just choking with disgust because as a history student, I just couldn't take enough

Just found out that the popular Korean series: Boys over Flowers was adapted from a Japanese manga...
There is even an older Japanese tv series based on this same manga

But only the Korean series got attention

And I'm left wondering how they funded it...how they have military grade weaponry and equipment, satellites etc. How they have safe houses in different countries...

How rogue agents are able to fund an organization that is even more powerful than the CIA and have thousands of agents across the world...

Feels pretty unrealistic that governments would not be after them...since their existence is pretty much known...
I don't see how governments would allow such an organization to exist and operate on its own

The Russos clearly showed how much supervision they needed during Infinity war and Endgame. They are good enough to work in a supervised environment, whether a TV Show or an MCU film. But, when it comes to creating something of their own, they are generic at best
The Gray Man proved that long before this show did actually. They had full control over that movie. Writers, producers, directors.

It was so aggressively bland, lol.
I actually just watched it for Ryan and Chris, it's the same way I watched this for Madden
Madden's Bodyguard on Netflix was a much better show, actually.

The Gray Man was extremely mediocre...

But so far it seems just okay...
I'm still puzzled how they want to build a cinematic universe from this show...

So far it doesn't seem plausible...
The show hasn't shown anywhere near enough depth...
It just feels like your average action/special ops thriller

The concept and premise is great...but the show's execution has some big problems
It's almost as if the producers were forced to cut out so much...

The world building is badly executed...it's super hard to follow...the series doesn't do a great job in introducing you to the world and how it works...

Instead we are left feeling confused about how the world works, the different factions etc

Whatever message they're trying to pass across, they seem to be failing at doing that...
