Minor spoilers:

First of all, this episode connects to the very first scene in episode 1 of this season and actually gives more context to it...

It shows what the meaning of a man is in this medieval period....how Vikings see a man as those who fight for honour and pride...how they carve this belief into their bodies and pass it along to their loved ones and descendants.

While in episode 1 it is portrayed as if it's something glorified and something of honour, this episode shows the cost of this way of life through the life and family of Gardar


Gardar's viking way cost him his family, his child Hjalti and his wife, Arnheid.
Because he chose to fight for wealth, honour, pride and glory, he left behind his wife and child and failed to see how his actions affected them until they all paid the price for his actions.

He understood and wished he could change the past, make different choices. And now he swore to never leave them again, but it's way too late.

It is crazy how the author/mangaka could make out such a great message with a story about the side character of Arnheid.

It was a compelling end to the story of Gardar, a man whose viking way of life had cost him all he had...and destroyed his family and those around him.

Fighting senseless wars for honour, wealth, pride and glory, is it worth the cost of your family?

It was Akudama Drive that finally got me into anime in 2020 or 2021, something even AOT failed to do after watching the first 12 episodes. Was only able to continue AOT last year.



Oh, I watched one ridiculous Samurai anime that's basically about boobs after dropping AOT, it follows a flat chested girl called Kaide and her big chested master. I don't even remember the title again.

Yea, Nikkaido seems to be amongst the people able to use magic dust abi na magicians dem dey call themselves. 🤔 Obviously her identity is being hidden. Her story smells like that of a princess or heir to the kingdom sha.

I hope studio Mappa looks at it with fondness. The article said the studio had so much workload and needed to clear them this season as well as Hell's Paradise. After HP and AOT final season work might continue on it. I just never know.
That show was one of the first shows in 2020 that reintroduced me back to anime genre and the Seinen space. Made me love dark and mature content alongside Jujutsu Kaisen.

The Structure of Citadel

From the beginning, Citadel was conceived to be a series with innovative and global storytelling. There is set to be five core shows, each revolving around a different country and telling the story of different cultures. The mothership Citadel series is expected to take place in America, while the other four take place in India, Italy, Spain, and Mexico.

What could make the overall narrative difficult for viewers to consume is that everything about the shows will be adjusted for their native audience. The Indian show will be geared towards Indians, meaning that the characters in the show will be speaking in Hindi. The Italian show, meanwhile, will be purely in Italian. Spain and Mexico will, unsurprisingly, be aimed at Spanish-speaking viewers.

The series is meant to be an experiment for Amazon, who are interested in seeing whether audiences will follow the shows to new countries and languages just to keep up the story. With characters traveling between spinoffs, their full stories will be inaccessible without paying attention to the narratives of other series. As an experimental TV first series, Citadel could very well change the way that television is produced going forward.

One of my favourite is Floch Förster, "Förster" in german translates to "a person who works in a forest", very fitting name for someone like him who's so deep into the forest and refuses to leave.

Liberio is another word that comes from the word "Libero" which quite literally means "Free". Quite an ironic name for the internment zone.

Summertime Rendering....... 9.7/10

This is a GOATED anime!! Premium tier sci fi fantasy with a mix of action and thriller. A project I'm sure Christopher Nolan would be proud of.

Started off slowly before gaining momentum and never let go during the 4th — 8th episodes. It's a time travelling masterpiece and one of the best pieces of time travel and multiversity.
The action was great, the storytelling was top notch, the intrigue and cliffhangers at each episodes keeps you on the edge of your sit.
It's a mystery thriller wrapped in sci-fi fantasy action garb to provide you top tier entertainment.

A top tier brain stimulating show.

Not having a perfect score of 10/10 was mainly cos of the extra episode at the end. It left you with a feeling of something's not right or things seem too perfect you fear shït might still happen. I feel the finale episode wasn't needed bu

Better character development and dialogue. It had a better romance storytelling than the previous installments.
I prefer the previous installment based on the dance moves and styles. The second film in the trilogy was far better in terms of dancing. Overall, it's a great feel good movie.

The manga was started but was even behind the anime...

It seems the manga just recently caught up to the anime and webcomic...
So it will take time for the manga to finally have enough content for a season 2

Last I heard, the manga hadn't gone far...so there wasn't enough content to adapt a season 2 yet
So it might take like 1 or 2 years if we gonna hear anything about it again
