And my main issues weren't even it's lack of realism...

Did they tell you it's based on true life story and real life?

When matrix used his hands to stop thousands of bullets being shot at him, did the producer tell you it's realistic?

You all better watch the movie for what it is, fiction and entertainment.

the suits are full Kevlar body armor

John Wick was shot many times but the suit protected him. Same as many others he shot...they wore either full body armor that covers their face or that suit

That's why John Wick always used his hands or suit to cover his face anytime he's shot at


Funny thing is the lack of impact. Thin suits like that and yet no impact. The bullets just bounce off like nothing...

In real life you would have punctured organs...damaged ribs or something

It has some of the best action scenes in modern action flicks...way better than the CGI battles we get in modern superhero movies
They also pay attention to amount of bullets in a clip...unlike many action movies...
It's over-the-top action but fun...


For me Chapters 1 and 2 were the best...
Chapters 3 and 4 also had their moments but I think Chapter 4 was the weakest of all the movies. It dragged on for too long that it got very tiring...

Imagine watching a 30 minutes action scene of actors pulling the same stunts...then 5 minutes break and another 3 minutes action scene...rinse and repeat

It's okay for 2 hours but when it drags on for 3 hours, it gets tiring to watch

Some side plots also weren't needed...like the Hunter with a dog called Mr. Nobody

DC needs to tone down on the CGI...
The entire trailer looks like a PS5 game trailer. All the costumes so fake... setting...etc

The only thing that looks real in this trailer are the faces...

It's like they only recorded the faces and used CGI for the rest of the production and acting...

The story has become watered down since part 2, and this part 4 was the absolute worst albeit the ridiculous 2:49hrs run time didn't help, i was so so bored because the fight scenes kept going on and on, at the end i was wondering what was the point of all that. It has gone full circle and the ending suggests that but if they stretch it any further, they must be mad.

The good thing about past movies was not just the story, but also the lore. It was rich...how the High Table operate... Intercontinental etc

This latest movie just made an easy way out for Wick.

You mean that a person can get away with killing the Marquis and other things by simply joining a family and challenging the present Marquis?

The action was good but tiring. For the first time ever, I slept off partway through a John Wick movie. Glad I didn't watch it in a cinema...it would be so tiring to sit for 3 hours watching a fighting compilation

Review will be as spoiler-free as possible since most haven't watched it

It's kind of expected but this movie is 95% fights and 5% story....
This may seem normal for a John Wick movie, but the 3 hours length makes it far more noticeable

You could as well watch a YouTube compilation of fight scenes in John Wick 4 and you wouldn't have missed much

The action scenes were good but went on for too long that they got tiring. Having several action scenes of like 30minutes length does get tiring in a 3 hours movie

They really could have reduced this movie to 2 hours

My favorite action scene was the one on the road with cars driving by. That was awesome and chaotic...
And as usual, with fight scenes having less cuts, they were awesome

I personally didn't like the story direction in this movie and the ending too...
I'm yet to see the point of the Mr. Nobody and his dog...felt like a character the movie could have done without

Also, as usual, police don't exist in the John Wick world.
The bodies piled up would have been impossible to clean

Every movie and show has plot armor, even Game of Thrones

Plot armor has to exist for you to tell a story.
In John Wick's case, they were trying to kill him but "he was too good"

In Sisu, the captured him and had him pinned down multiple times, yet made the worst ever choice in order for him to survive

This Vinland saga season 2 is nothing unlike season less action 11 episodes in and just about thorfinn being regretful about his past rubbish

Vinland Saga was never all about fighting. It's about the story, themes and characters. It constantly critiques the Vikings way of life and war and slavery.

Even though season 1 had more action scenes it was never about mere combat, that's why the best moments in S1 weren't the action scenes but the character moments. Characters like Askeladd and Canute

Season 2 of Vinland Saga mostly focuses on Thorfinn finding a purpose

If you want pointless action, go and watch Demon Slayer....
If you want a masterpiece story with great character development, watch Vinland Saga


And sidenote: there is more action in late parts of Season 2 and the next arcs which will be in S3 onwards

Sometimes your comments sounds like you just started watching movies yesterday because without plot armour JW would have died 10x over in the movies but since it is Hollywood no problem.
JW got shot multiple times and fell from the top of the hotel at the end of chapter 3 and still survived, ain't that something? No be plot armour be that?

John Wick's plot armor is that he's O.P

In Sisu...the Nazis were actively trying to kill Korpi but were so incompetent.
The problem is that they had so many clear chances to kill him but always made the wrong decisions...
They know of his reputation, what he has done and seen what he can do...yet when they had him in impossible to escape situations, they made the most silly choices possible.

Even when the captured him and should have blown off his head. They chose to hang him instead.
They knew his legend and that nickname was The Immortal yet they couldn't even care to confirm his death?

If you capture someone who's is rumoured to be immortal and you want to kill him, do you just hang him on a rope to a weak pole and walk away?

You have guns, grenades, a tank etc and that's the best you can do to confirm the kill? They didn't even wait...they just walked away

in fact it would be better if they had shot him and burned his corpse but he somehow survived...that would make him look even more badàss rather than making the enemies look incompetent
In Rurouni Kenshin, the shot Shishio multiple times and burned his corpse, yet he crawled out of the fire and survived with his charred body

Not hanging someone to a weak pole and hoping the wind doesn't blow away the pole

I did enjoy the movie but I couldn't help notice the insane plot armor. At a point it felt like they Nazis were trying to keep him alive rather than kill him. They seemed way to incompetent

The Nazis had like 4 clear chances to finish Korpi off but they always took the wrong decisions. Their leader kept giving the worst commands...

Dude literally just killed about 7 of your men...instead of shooting him, you decided to wait for him to finish packing the gold?
Or telling the dogs to get him when you had a clear shot at close range?

Worst was hanging him...someone who has a nickname of being immortal...at least ensure he's dead...
What happened to blowing up his face with lead? Why hang him for half a minute and assume he's dead?

The whole subplot with the women prisoners was cringe too...

Anyway, Korpi was still very badàss but the enemies being so incompetent does affect his image to me. I don't see the John Wick comparison at all

Its not just Netflix, I just remembered that stupîd woman king movie that they made where they were trying to portray the Dahomey as saints when anyone can easily look up their history and see what horrible greedy bastàrds they were. And yeah you could tell what they were trying to do from the trailer. You don't need to waste hours of your time watching that nonsense to see that they are trying to twist history and feed you garbage.

And this one is a docu like that one was supposed to be based on true events. 😒

I enjoyed the movie because I knew nothing about the real history and I didn't research it

But I heard later about how totally false it was...
About how they protagonists were actually the bad guys in real history

What shocked me the most was how the Dahomey actually lost so many warriors...I heard about 500 warriors just to kill about 6 french soliders in war


But the movie made them look super strong and brave meanwhile they failed massively in real life...they were cooked massively
