The U.S intercepted more than 50% of the missiles from Iran.

Without those interceptions, Iran would have leveled the streets of Israel.. Gaza would have looked better than Tel Aviv

Iran cannot win this war until if it cannot shoot down the warplanes of Israel.
So far, Iran has not been able to shoot down a single Israeli warplane. They cannot be firing misfiles at Israel for ever. They will soon run low or out of the missiles and that would be very bad for them because Israel would bombard them from all corners from the air. You cannot lose your airspace and win a war in the air.
The only major problem that Israel will have is how patient and how long their ciitizenss would support the government and cope with the casualties in this fight.
Iran cannot sustain their strategy for long!

Neither can Israel and U.S defeat Iran..

Middle East have different mentality than the west. Check how long the Soviet were in Afghanistan (10 yrs) and still lost. U.S tried Afghanistan, we have seen how that panned out.. other than overthrowing Saddam Hussien, did the U.S really win in Iraq?

In 2022, I bought a 300sqm plot of land in an estate in Ogun State, under a contract of sale that was notarized. As part of the agreement, I paid ₦300,000 out of a total ₦800,000 for the development levy, survey, and documentation (the balance was to be paid progressively). I was advised by the agent handling the estate to focus on starting my foundation and not worry too much about paying off the remaining development fees quickly — so I followed that advice.

Fast-forward to 2025, the same agent came back claiming that the development fee had been “reviewed” upwards and that I now had to pay ₦8,000,000 (plus ₦1,000,000 community fee) — which is over 10x the original agreed cost. I refused and insisted on the original agreement. He later cut off communication, and only resurfaced this year. When I tried to resolve the matter peacefully, he used some veiled threats like, “how do you plan to build beside me if you don’t follow my terms?” and implied I couldn’t proceed without his approval.

Till date, I haven’t received my survey plan, and no documentation beyond the initial contract of sale has been issued. This delay is now affecting my ability to process a low-interest mortgage through my workplace and make decisions on renewing my current rent. I’ve tried formal written communication with their lawyer, but I’ve received no reply.

At this point, I’m preparing to escalate legally through arbitration, but I wanted to hear from others:
• Has anyone faced something similar?
• How did you resolve it?
• Do I stand a chance legally or should I prepare for long delays?
• Is it normal in some estates to inflate fees for older buyers?

As sad as this might be.. I think you are on a shaky ground..legally speaking..

I am almost at the level of saying you dont have a legal ground but dont want to sound harsh or be the deliverer of bad news..

But this should be a very strong lesson to anyone going into real estate..

Please please, dont listen to omonile, agent etc.. telling you ah dont worry about this and that.. please please, make sure you perfect your land document, hire a real estate lawyer if you must but secure the land well and have good documentations ..

because years later, especially if that particular land have appreciated in value,the same people that told you not to worry would look you in your eyes and tell you "gettat" .. infact they can even resale the land and invite you to follow them to eat to goat meat to celebrate the sale.. please be guided ..

As it stands now, my suggestion would be to involve an elder in the community, not sue but to mitigate the issue.. see how much the man really wants to collect to go away.. and you try as much as you can to perfect your land documents before proceeding with the building.

The painful part is that the trouble makers are hiding inside a bunker . I think Israel insulted President Trump by not accepting the part of peace and negotiation... They should just not assume Iran doesn't have a loaded Nuclear Weapon. I still strongly believe President Trump would still have to step up and find a way to end all this escalation..

Recall, Trump was the one that cancelled the deal with Iran (for iran to stop its nuclear program), because Obama negotiated it.

He canceled the deal but didn't have a replacement for it.. now here we are..

Stop rounding tripping in banks.

If anyone needs to send money to their suppliers abroad, or pay medical fees or their children's school fees. They should simply walk into their bank and their bank would deduct the money from their account and complete the wire transfer abroad using the official exchange rate.

I never understood why banks would tell there customers to go to BDC to buy dollar to deposit in a bank to effect a wire transaction, would the bank carry the actual cash to bank of China?? Why then would people need to source the actual cash to deposit in the bank to transfer money abroad?
