Na wa for you oh. Now I know you are just trolling. How can you say the dark approach is a gamble when it has clearly worked for them in the past? Uhmmm, have you forgotten the Nolan's trilogy, Batman (1989), Batman (1992) and the most recent example Man of Steel. And even the few times they tried to follow the light approach, how did that turn out: Green Lantern, Superman Returns.
It took you how many pages to figure that out. Do you want an award?

That's how it starts, the rage...lol
But I think CW would get a passmark review since it's almighty marvel though..
But why the beef against marvel? Their method obviously works for them. Truth be told, DC's dark approach to superhero movies is kind of a gamble. But both clearly have their methods..

To buttress my statement, read this article from this link: http://screenrant.com/batman-v-superman-box-office-opening-weekend/#comments
Can I be honest? I'm not gonna read that. For freak sake, everyone knows the movie would make major bucks. It's freaking batman and superman for crying out loud.

captain america/avengers 2.5 civil war fail? In terms of critic review? Never. The marvel gods would never allow it. D0n't hide under the cam0uflage of neutrality, you too kn0w it w0n't. I can predict that this movie will make more than $600 million by the time Easter break is over. This movie has performed beyond expectation. I'll wait and see what the figures are by Tuesday evening. Already, that Forbes guy called Scott Mendelson is now calling the movie transformer of comic books . The guy is such a loser, I'm sure he's surprised that the movie can go this far after the scathing reviews he submitted against Zack Synder.
I once said you guys were over hyping this movie before its release. Now see how much reviews are frustrating you guys. It's always good to have high hopes but to an extent. Another movie that could fall a victim to this is captain america: civil war..

parrotibaba:
Oga there are movies that have negative reviews but financially successful, it's all about the appeal before the movie is released, like I previously mentioned, transformers age of extinction made over a billion in the box office but had negative reviews. There are also movies with positive reviews but bad box office performances.

Criticisms are what they are indeed and when a movie is bad or average, it receives negative reviews. Mind you most audience polls gave the movie a "B" grade which is average. What more do you want? When fantastic four was being slammed left and right last year by critics, I didn't see anybody calling them biased and one sided so why is it that now you guys seem to ridicule critics because it didn't favor BvS? When the good reviews were dropping in you and your ninjas were showing it off to the world but now that the bad ones are trooping in, it's fake.
Thank you.. thank you so very much. All these bants about bias is really funny.

Your rant was hard to read but I'll do the best i can (Btw, what the heck is 'Jesse's 'wannabe heath ledger' lex' huh)

So defending a good movie makes me a fanboy? Allow me to laugh cheesy I never claimed that the movie had no pl0t holes, i just said they weren't nearly as bad as you and your fellow fanboys blow them up to be. Seeing as you know nothing about DC comics, let me be the first to let you know that Doomsday did in fact kill superman in the comics and the movie was true to that so yarn all u want tongue

I wonder how many people that gave good reviews you could call jokes, before you give up and realize that you're the one that's embarrassing himself. If all movie critics rate a movie 10/10 and it still fails to break even with the budgeted amount i wonder if you'd say the movie was good? Please it's with real concern i'm asking you what date you're still living in cheesy
Yawn.. you bore the hell outta me.. with your lame punchline about dates, which fails to hit the punch.. your attempts at humour is just sad. But I'd answer your question cos I'm a nice guy.. I live in a time and date so advanced, you'd burn yourself out trying to keep up. Now hop away...

Hacked? I guess not, Bro. This is what we are talking about. There are obviously inconsistencies in movie reviews, if not, how did Sharknado get such a high RT score? I guess you now understand my point
The head and tail is that you guys are taking this thing too serious.. I learn from both franchises.. Marvel and DC.. don't know about other people but I'm just having fun. But I watch movies and take notes to better myself.. stop the fanboy wars and let's sing together 'we shall overcome' grin

Parrotibaba, how can we judge these RT scores and audience receptions for these movies? I won't argue much on reviews again, I guess the issue is over beaten. I will conclude by criticising the methodologies adopted for movie review, that is if there are any. It is no doubt laced with personal opinions, hence, the current outcry. The eventual box office financial output of BvS will determine whether this is a means to an end.
I'm sure rotten tomatoes was hacked grin.. who gives sharknado 82%

Yep i covered every detail that your fanboy friend pointed out, if you have anything tangible to contribute to his argument and I'm interested, i could oblige you. Humanity is doomed? stop embarrassing yourself. cheesy
*sigh... the bants of an obviously pained fanatic.. going through my posts I didn't bash the movie neither did I praise it. I have no time for fan boyism.. come to think of it, where did you even spring out from? The so called 'fanboy' raised some valid points and you jumped in to defend without getting proper ammo.. am I supposed to take you serious? Even if I'm unserious myself. I've seen fans who agree with the fact that the movie had loose plot points, an abysmal portrayal of lex and Superman's death was totally avoidable and pointless( let's face it we all know he would be back in the first 20 mins of JL... yawn) afflect is a good bruce Wayne. Your only point is 'BvS is making money' which we all know.. you think you're a dc fan? Get in line pal.. the fact that you think Jesse's 'wannabe heath ledger' lex is great, makes you a joke of a fan

Movie critics decides the reviews, but the real audience make the revenue. And for it to amass so much in such a short time means you and the marvel fanboys are on your own. People love the movie wink

I've already covered the movie in detail in a reply to another marvel fanboy if you'd check the latest pages lol. So because i like Eisenberg's performance, you imply that i'm gay? Lol that sums up your maturity level then lol.

So again i dunno what date you're in but you better wake up, BvS is killing it! cool
Too much 'lol' is one post shows how much you're trying to cover up how pained you are..everybody knows that.. Moreover you call what you did covering the movie in detail? Wow.. detail must mean a different thing to you. Humanity is doomed.. * spongebob laugh*

Snyder uses this movie to continue to push the Supes as a Christ like entity, and it so poetic. Half of the world loves Supes for what he can do, the other half is scared of what he can do. So the senate wants to control him and others want to destroy him, sounds biblically familiar? And what did Jesus do to save everyone, even those opposed to him? He sacrificed himself. Just like Supes did and he did it on good Friday non the less.....are you catching on yet? Now the world will understand what they had and wish he was back and he can become the Supes we all love. The resurrection of Superman will be unlike anything we have seen or can imagine. Read some comics and appreciate what they have done here.
So you're comparing Christ and Superman? Wow... these fanboys can never stop amusing me..

Funny BvS had all the things you describe

Kiddy action - check
Baseless comedy - check
Weak villain - check

Seems like DC copied the marvel formula if we follow your reasoning. The plot is rubbish. For spoilers sake I won't mention all the plotholes but I'll just say this Lois Lane, Lex, Doomsday. That is all

I repeat the trailers spoiled the movie, it's the worst case I can remember in recent times. Apart from the final scene, which you'll still predict, they showed everything. Doomsday was terrible cgi, he looked like a character from a low budget movie
DC doesn't do post credit scenes, MoS didn't have one. Though they should have put that JL setup as post credits, it was lame the way they crammed it right before you know what. And don't get me started on that dream sequence

See ehn, I believe I was very fair in my review but the more I think about it maybe I was being too kind.

I read some of the reviews and their preferences were overtly stated.
This is what you do when you read criticisms. Instead of blaming it on fan boyism and what not, see the movie for yourself and take note on the areas criticised. Be open minded, only then can you tell if the critics are biased or not.

Many of those reviews are self-contradicting and obtuse. I read one self-glorifying review from whatculture.com titled "Batman V Superman: I told you it was going to be rubbish". The guy was just grumbling throughout the article proving that his earlier bile of hatred against the movie is now justified. In the comments section, this reviewer, Alex Leadbeater, was properly tutored by movie fans. I later understood that the guy had been writing distasteful articles against BvS for a long time. Apparently, many of these guys are closet Marvel fans...
Sure... blame it on marvel...
