They were brutal and did what soldiers do - the usual stuff like giving long haired civilians forced haircuts in the street, etc. But those soldiers set their country on the path to industrialization. The story of that time was that if a steel plant was poorly built, those soldiers simply blew it up with military grade explosives and ordered the contractor to re-do it. Today, South Korea is an industrial power.

Meanwhile...in one other country like that, soldiers also seized power in several coups... but they were more interested in beer & pepper soup than iron & steel. Those soldiers did absolutely nothing about their country's steel complex and today, that complex lies in ruins due to neglect - a sad reminder of what might have been. That plant in Ajaokuta has not worked for one day. And these are the soldiers you think will fix things?

Consider that this is what these men were trained for...and this "difficult" terrain is in their own country. So what will they say if we have a dispute with Iceland or Afghanistan and we need to invade?

These men could not deliver on their primary responsibility and you want to hand the country over to them to do a job they know next to nothing about?

There's something that happens to me in the past which i just remembered last night.

It happened in my former place of work where i was employed basically based on my skill. It's a specialised skillset so, my replacements are kind of limited.

During the period when i was the only operator,i received so much "favors " from my boss excluding my salary.

To be honest i so much enjoyed the moment and wish it didn't passed.

You see,power is really sweet. There's nothing refreshing in this world than POWER. Forget wealth,even money must bow down in the presence of POWER.

As someone working for an individual or organisation,there's no better position which offers you maximum power than being the boss "FAVOURITE".
