onismate: God even said it that judgment would start from the church. It’s now sad that some fake men of God has capitalized on the gullibility of their members to extort them. They now demand money for salvation, as if they are God who gave salvation. Salvation is free. Some fake pastors demand money for miracles, healing, anointing oil. Be care. Here is a list made by a Ghanaian church of amount to sow as a seed if you want to receive sharp sharp miracle.

Youngadvocate: More kicks have been given to the planned election boycott ordered by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
New among the notables to speak against the order is the Obi Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe, who dismissed the order, stating that the election must hold and no one could stop it from happening.
Igwe Achebe who is also the Chairman of Anambra State Traditional Ruler’s Council made the statement when the State leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo led by Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene visited him in his palace, today, Wednesday.
His words: “The election is for us not for the entire country. You cannot have a referendum in one part of the country without carrying other parts of the country along and the government must support and sponsor it before it will be organized and not curving out some part of the country for the referendum. The election must hold and nobody or group of persons will stop it. Nobody should come to the state to cause unnecessary tension”.
“Our people should come home to invest in industry, factory, build schools and hospitals that will be beneficial to our people. We need non partisan strong institution to create good environment for development. I commend the new Ohanaeze Ndigbo leadership both at the national and state level for their efforts within six months to unite Ndigbo” Achebe stated.
In his remarks, the State Ohanaeze Chairman, Chief Okeke-Ogene said they visited the traditional ruler to show respect and to carry the traditional institution along in whatever they do as custodian of culture in Igbo land.
“There is nothing will do without you. If there is any case that is beyond us, we will consult you for advise and possible resolution. Obi of Onitsha is bridge between the people and the government and his throne is falling point for Ndigbo, Onitsha culture is a complete and standard that other Igbo land emulates”.
He said that the group had already condemned the call by IPOB leader to boycott governorship election in the state, saying that election must hold “Nobody who fought war will like to fight again. So we should be fighting war of sense and not physical war to being Ndigbo into the main stream in the country.”

The bizarre moment was captured on camera and posted online with the caption: "This is our Murtala International Airport with rats waiting to collect their boarding passes. robosky02: The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are set to hire a foreign goalkeeper training ahead of the crucial 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon.
The Super Eagles are facing a goalkeeping crisis with first choice Carl Ikeme on the long-term as he continues treatment for acute leukaemia.
His replacement Daniel Akpeyi failed to impress in the shocking 2-0 home loss to South Africa in June.
With the just Ikechukwu Ezenwa left, the NFF are considering hiring a foreign goalkeeper training to work on the goalkeepers.
“The goalkeeper trainer is expected to train NPFL goalkeepers ahead of the crucial games with Cameroon and there are talks for him to stay after the encounter,” a source is quoted to say by Naija Football Plus.
“Super Eagles are running short of goalkeepers and the NFF is leaving no stone unturned, the foreign goalkeeper trainer is expected to groom NPFL goalkeepers to the international standard.”
According to Naija Football Plus, the foreign goalkeeper training is expected to work with the Super Eagles keeper coach Alloy Agu.
It is known if the appointment will be permanent or just for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon.
The foreign goalkeeper training will be working with Alloy Agu who is the current goalkeeper coach of the Super Eagles (Twitter/NFF)
Nigeria will first host Cameroon on Thursday, August 31 in Uyo before a return leg on Monday, September 4.
The Super Eagles top Group B (Africa) of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers while Cameroon are second with two points.
Zambia and Algeria both have just a point.

Politics › Re: Anambra Election: Militants Back Nnamdi Kanu On Boycott by Badonasty(m): 9:34pm On Jul 19, 2017 |
Cooly100: From: TONY JOHN, Port Harcourt
Some Niger Delta militant groups have declared their support for the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, that the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra State, in November, , by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), will not take place.
The groups, Concerned Militant Leaders (CML), Niger Delta People Democratic Front (NDPDF) and Rainbow Marabas Squad (RMS) argued that since May 30, 2016 when soldiers allegedly massacred harmless and innocent IPOB members in some parts of the Southern states, Federal Government has remained silent over the incident.
Leaders of the groups, General Ben (CML), General Playboy (NDPDF) and General Aneaja (RMS), after their meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Wednesday, demanded for justice for the victims of the May 30, 2016, Biafra Day celebration killings.
Convner of the meeting, General Ben, stated: “Federal Government should address the injustice meted out to innocent and harmless IPOB members, while celebrating Biafra Day. The election in Anambra State should not hold and will not hold. That injustice must first be addressed before any election will take place by Federal Government.
“Southern political leaders, who are romancing with Federal Government to truncate and jeopardize Biafra struggle because of the selfish aggrandizement, will live to regret their actions because, we will not forget them.
“Any attempt by Federal Government to take us for granted, should be resisted. We advise Anambrarians to boycott that election. Any person that flouts our order does that at his or her peril. Nobody is our target, but don’t make yourself our target”, the groups warned.
Reacting to the recent quit notice to the Igbo people living in the North by Arewa youths, and the similar ultimatum by their colleagues (militants) to the Northerners in the Niger Delta, the groups said they did not see it as a threat.
According to them it was an opportunity for the Southerners to realise and address their agitations properly with zeal and commitment.
They advised Southerners, particularly Igbo people, living in the North, not to be carried away by whatever assurances they might have received from any quarters concerning their safety, insisting that they should heed to the order.
Ben stated: “We do not see it as a threat, but a welcome development. It should not generate disaffection, but should be accepted with commendation because it would give the agitators opportunity to champion their course with the necessary zeal it requires.
“In essence, the deadline should stand, both for the South Easterners in the North, and the Northerners in the Niger Delta region and South East. And our people should return home. Every Southern is our brother or sister, whether from East, West or South.
“Whoever refuses to heed to this order, will blame himself or herself for the consequences. We have sounded the warning to our people in the North not to allow themselves to be slaughtered like before.
“This time around, while we demand that the Igbo should obey the quit notice by Arewa boys, we would not fold our hands and watch them (Arewa) massacre our people. Whatever that happens to our people, will surely have grave and regrettable consequences on the opponents, General Ben warned.

Education › Re: Sokoto Government Uncovers 706 Ghost Students by Badonasty(m): 9:47am On Jul 19, 2017 |
harbdulrasaq88: Sokoto government of Sokoto state says it has uncovered 706 “ghost” students.
This was possible through the efforts of a committee set up to verify the actual number of students entitled to its scholarship,
The Committee Chairman, Shehu Wurno, made this known on Tuesday when he presented the probe findings to Governor Aminu Tambuwal.
Wurno said that the committee visited 40 tertiary institutions within and outside the country where it verified and confirmed 14,532 students as qualified for the scholarship.
He said: “We have also confirmed that N544, 613,724 is the total cost of students registration for the year 2016/2017 academic session, while N143, 560,855 is the allowances to the verified students.
“We have also verified and confirmed that N688, 174,579 is the actual amount owed as students registration and allowances for the current 2016/2017 session.”
Responding, Tambuwal, who thanked the committee for its efforts, restated his administration’s resolve to give top priority to the education sector.
Tambuwal said: “To boost funding for the sector, we have introduced an education levy where civil servants and political office holders are being taxed to complement other sources of funding.
“We have so far realised N260 million from that levy. We hope to liaise with the state consultative committee on revitalisation of education, headed by Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad, to intensify our work in the education sector.”
The governor assured the committee that its recommendations would be implemented, and declared that no investment would be too much for the education sector.
