Lextronggroup: Hello guys in the house . I have read most of the thread and pages from 1-3 and you guys have impacted great knowledge of seed in us. I hail honourableseyi and co with other jagaban I don't mention but are working underground for other success. Please I have a question my bosses. I have requested for Proficiency in English letter from my institution. Please don't know if I still need to write IELTS exam. Will all university in German accept the certificate of proficiency in English from Nigeria institution. Thank you very much for considering my request. I look forward to your positive response. Acceptance of the proficiency Letter is not General and will vary from one university to another. While some univeresities may write this exception in their admission requirements for some you may have to contact the program coordinator or international office to know if it will be accepted. |

A friend of mine based in Estonia helped me make my payment of €75 for the Uniassist fees on 15/03/17 and my payment status is yet to be updated.
Did anybody here experienced such? use the contact function from your uni-assist account to email them and attach a copy of the payment transfer slip. This gets your payment updated faster. |

ozyomar1: Please is it possible to ask for an extension on your enrolment date from your school to enable you process your visa as it usually takes at least 4weeks. Yes it is possible but ensure you fund ASAP to speed up the processing and possibly submit the funding confirmation along with other originals on your interview date. |

Cause I did my interview about 7 weeks ago, but up till now, I haven't heard from the German embassy. Hope am still in good faith? have you funded your account and sent a confirmation to the embassy |

Jeffhardy3000: Good day house, please I have an interview date for 15march 2days from now but on the 12th I got robbed after funding my block account, so now I'm having issues with all my originals and international passport lost. I have gotten a police report and court affidavit already. And I have all my photocopies please is that enough to take to the embassy at Lagos because they said lost passport takes up to a week and I don't have such time and if I miss this interview I won't be able to defer because I'm already short of time. But I have showed d original when I certified my originals for accreditation when I was trying to get admission. So guys would they allow me have this interview knowing it's an unfortunate even that happened to me? Have you contacted the embassy to inform them of this recent development and to seek a rescheduled appointment date due to the unfortunate incident which hopefully allows you to get a new passport in a week as you claim as i doubt anyone will conduct an interview for you without your original passport and original documents. you can still use your statement of result if your BSc original certificate was stolen also try to get to WAEC office to get a confirmation of your original results and ensure you buy a WAEC scratch card as well and if it doesn't work out kindly defer the admission so that you have adequate time to obtain the new documents and apply However, I am curious as to why exactly you were driving around with your passport and other original documents in a car on a sunday of all days (12th March) and at night. |

sirheed2: Do u mean, from the green quote of ur response, that most visa reject mostly come between this period one to two weeks after interview and anything after 2weeks is visa issuance.? And how authentic is this info or is it based on observation from this thread. Please clarify this @gurus in the house. just so you know even an issued visa can still be revoked/refused after issuance if new evidence comes to light pertaining your application same applies to all applications regardless of it being a week old or more so after 2 weeks of processing does not guarantee visa issuance rather the odds are increased but still subject to certain decisions rejection after a few days or one week - comes from the Nigerian embassy probably due to poor interview, unable to convince the visa officer that you are indeed a student so there are doubts as to your study intentions, fraudulent documents, enrolment deadline, inadequate time for processing your application etc rejection after two weeks or more - usually comes from the aliens authority / auslanderbehorde though if you are lucky you get asked additional questions for clarification on certain issues but usually due to the embassy report on your application even though it was still forwarded, finance related issues etc if rejected after this extended processing period by the Nigerian embassy then it is likely failure to fund after a set deadline and not withdrawing your application or some new information. These reasons are not limited to the above but just examples of what may have occurred. |

futurewise11: Valid point raised here. But remember sometime people wait till eternity and when the mail refuse to drop to felt bugged. I felt if you fund and your are refuse you can reapply and worst case scenario your money is there to cash if you decide otherwise. i agree with you as well at least people now know what to do in either situation when the should i fund or not fund question comes along. |

futurewise11: People keep talking about "go and fund email", please kindly note, you don't need to wait for that email before you proceed funding.... i think there is nothing wrong with waiting for the funding email as it usually arrives from a few hours after to a few days after the interview but given the fact that some people can still be refused after a week or max two weeks waiting for this period to go by before funding will still be a good idea unless of course you have very little time left for processing because getting your money back after funding and then your application is refused can be stressful unless of course one plans to reapply. |

hallelluyah: Guys, please kindly educate me : is it possible my family members accompany me to Germany on my way for my Master's program? Would the embassy allow them to follow me? If yes, in what terms and conditions? I would appreciate an elaborate explanation on this. Thank you all? if you are married with kids there is a provision in the law that allows your husband or wife and kids to accompany you to germany but it should be noted that you will in turn have to show adequate finances that covers you and your family which far exceeds the regular €8640 for an unaccompanied student. |

Jeffhardy3000: GOOD DAY HOUSE, I AM JEFF AND HAVE A STORY TO TELL ABOUT MY VISA APPLICATION TODAY AND I WOULD NEED A CANDID ADVICE. 1. WHAT SHOULD BE MY NEXT LINE OF ACTION BECAUSE THE SCHOOL REFUSED TO WRITE A LETTER TO THE EMBASSY? 2. IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO GET ME AN INVITATION IN BETWEEN THE THREE WEEKS? You need to first of all inform the embassy to cancel your prior appointment because you were a no-show on their system and they do not particularly like that at all as that slot could have been given to someone else without that you cannot book another interview date. how you go about explaining your no-show is entirely up to you. see if you can get your school to grant you an enrolment extension to even stand a chance at all if you get an interview date but if not please kindly defer your admission to next semester if that is possible with your school.Once you get another interview date try to fund as quickly as possible as you will not have the luxury of time. Arriving 15 minutes to the supposed interview time is never a good idea you are an adult and should have known better and please don't even use traffic as an excuse the experiences of others from prior pages of the thread should have taught you a lesson or perhaps you never bothered to read back. most people arrive a minimum one hour before the time while some push to 30minutes before time but it is just better to be safe than sorry as you get to join the queue on time, documents checked and allowed into the embassy and get to sit without any form of undue pressures while you collect your thoughts and wait patiently to be interviewed. Try the tips given above but note that there are no guarantees.it is always better to learn from the experiences of others instead you are now the example others will learn from. I am quite sure if you get another interview date you now know better not to arrive 15 minutes before time. |

iwuchukwu1: Good day house, my name is Jeffrey Last week I requested for student visa application, and got my reply (interview date) but with a small problem, they said they won't accept my Verpflichtungserklärungs (proof of financial means ) because it's older than 3months, and that I should tell my sponsor to request for another one before the interview which is just next month. ...... Now I have questions 1: why did they reject it after just 3months? I thought it lasts 6months at least 2: the first time my sponsor applied for it, it actually took 3weeks for them to issue it, will it take another 3weeks this time? Cus I don't have upto 3weeks to get another one So I really need to know if there's anyone that has had this type of experience with the Verpflichtungserklärungs, and how long it took to get it the second time? Please anybody? If you haven't realised it yet no one here works in Aliens office and can state exactly how long it will take to get another Letter, the best response you will get is an educated guess as this vary from one aliens office to another but instead of you to contact your sponsor ASAP to politely explain and request for a new Sponsors Letter so that it might possibly be ready before your interview date you will rather post a question here which does not take rocket science to figure out where the answer lies. |

rose55: Good evening all. Please I have some questions - (1)is there any need for my husband to be present during my interview for Student visa? No Oga Rose55 does not need to be present as he is not travelling with you at this time/initial instance.
(2) Does he need to sign any document for me? No Oga Rose 55 does not need to sign any document for you.
(3)Do I need to show proof of fund for him even when he's not going with me. No you do not need to show proof of funds for Oga Rose55 if he is not travelling with you immediately but note that you will need to show proof of funds when you start to process the reunion thingy and your aliens office in your town or city will be the best place to find out exactly how much you need to show as proof of funds as this varies from one aliens office to another Lastly, what are my chances of having a family reunion with my husband after a year. He has a job in another country and he won't be available during my visa processing, but when he comes back to Nigeria after a year or there about I expect him to join me. Thank you in anticipation. As long as you were married before applying for your student visa and indicate on the appropriate forms and show supporting evidence of your claims in addition to adequate proof of funds there is a provision in the law for Oga Rose55 to join you in Germany. |

Successful111: Good day to all,,please my brothers/siss,,,i would need your answers on what i am about to explain. Economics and Statistics UNIBEN upper class'' and this was what i saw as d requirements is the achievement of a Bachelor's degree taught in English. Please note: From the summer semester 2017 onwards, English language skills at level C1 @Honorableseyi @batboi and the rest on this forum i need your answers on this my peple,,,God bless you all For the English Language requirement Rhine Waal has become notorious for not accepting the fact that Nigerians satisfy the English Language requirement by virtue of it been the Official language and for Academics and insist on all applicants writing and providing IELTS scores for their application to be considered. So you will need to write the IELTS exams to meet the C1 requirements but note that not all universities are this strict with the english requirement as some are more flexible and allow other evidences as proof. Your 3.6 Naija Grade will convert to a respectable grade on the German Scale probably 2.2 or 2.3 if i guess correctly but if you kindly read a few pages back an online link for grade conversion was posted recently. |

queendoreez: Yes, when someone especially a fellow Nigerian sees himself as a god because he's in some sort of pisition of authority then you need remind them that death is inevitable irrespective of class or social status. seriously you need to calm down. The young man who interviewed does not know you or has any prejudice towards you and was simply doing his job no one has a right to visa even if you have managed to convince yourself that you are entitled to one based on your documents. Do you really think the young man is the one granting and refusing visas all he can do is recommend for approval or refusal based on your documents and your response during the interview and the interview transcripts are still subject to a review and further assessment by a very experienced visa officer before a final decision. Try to refrain from insulting the man and rather give a detailed account of the interview and lets delibrate and see how any further application can be improved. |

queendoreez: I applied for a 2weeks Tourist visa, I was interviewed on Thursday last week, the idiot that interviewed me felt bigger than what he is. He kept rambling about the money in my account that is over 1M. Every other document was intact, Employment letter, payslips, leave letter from my company, hotel and flight reservations etceteras. In the end i was denied, the letter was dated the following day being Friday stating reasons 3 & 9. I am convinced the mumu didn't even put in my application to the appropriate authorities and made a hasty decision. I want to appeal, what are my chances? sorry to bust your bubble but tourist visas do not have the right to appeal IIRC very limited visa categories have that privilege but i am happy to be wrong though. it is always on you the applicant to convince the interviewer of your intentions and the assessment is not based solely on submitted documents it is a combination of factors. |

MrEbony: Hello fam,
This item on the student visa checklist -
Proof of previous academic studies/professional training/ work experience (if applicable)
Proof of previous academic studies means my Bachelor's Degree certificate right?
I'm currently working and going for masters, is it compulsory I show proof of work experience? If yes? How? Letter from my office or CV? Cos I don't like the kinda bureaucracy the letter will go through before it gets to me, everybody will practically get to know ans I don't want that. yes your Bachelors Degree Certificate. However, If additional information about your Job after asking verbally during the interview is required you will be notified via email to provide the required information. |

Or what?? Please help me with any info you have on this,,god bless you Bro.. she needs to earn a certain threshold i think about €1500 for her application to even be considered and the required documents which she will be asked to provide by the auslanderbehorde helps them make this assessment and she needs to be of good character as well as she will be taking full responsibility for your affairs all of these will be assessed by the auslanderbehorde before granting the letter. so in essence her monthly earnings and social status is what matters and not necessarily having €8K in her account. |

Has anyone tried this before and can anyone let me know how long it's going to take before DB credits my account? yes you can transfer the USD just ensure you transfer enough money so that there is no shortfall after the USD conversion to EUR, depending on which Nigerian bank you are using for the transfer Deutsche Bank New York may even be their correspondent bank for processing international transfers which will speed up the processing, crediting and DB email notification of your account. |
