i felt like it was the end of the world lastnight. it was so damn painful but thank God i'm over it now.

but my people, naija like football o, i no go lie.
the buildup to yesterdays game was like nothing i've seen before. arsenal fans in lagos are something else. heard somewhere in surulere they bought a cow and painted it in full arsenal colours and paraded with it round town before the match.
somewhere else another group of fans bought ankara it was something else.
folks who weren't into football that much were asking if it was nigeria playing, everyone knew there was a game to watch.
arsenal fans knows how to really do it. we took champions league final to another level. only God knows what would have happened if we had won.
kudos to all gunners.

you're right it wasn't a bad final. though could have been better with better officiating.
the rains didnt help either.

for me however i was too nervous to really appreciate the beauty of the game.
but looking back, i'd say it wasnt bad. (but where do i put all this pain?)
not the massacre you guys were predicting.
at some points in the second half you must have been scared shitless about us winning. if you'll be truthful then you'll admit this.
