There has been a large Indian community in east Africa(Uganda,Tanzania,kenya) for over a century.When Idi Amin deported millions of them in the 1970s from uganda,many of them moved to tanzania,kenya and even zambia but still returned to uganda when he was overthrown.
Indian communities are also scattered all over west Africa and the Northern part of nigeria especially.No one calls any Indian "master" over here.
