Like i saw this coming. I served in Asaba, left last year April, first the location of that stadium along Nnebisi Road is a disaster for any major event. Kept asking myself why Asaba, knowing how small that town is and the poor road network, flood that perpetually ravage that place due to lack of drainage system. An event of such magnitude should have been held in a place like The Uyo stadium. For me i am just concerned about the location of the stadium, i wonder what the Organizers were thinking to approve that stadium considering its location . |
I find it amusing that the Yoruba nation will be tagged as supporting evil for merely expressing her freedom of association. Did anyone refer to the igbos or Niger Delta as supporters of evil for their continued loyalty to the PDP since 1999 ? I think we should learn to respect our choices as a nation. |
babytoun:#smiles, its all good brother. 2019 is upon us. |
babytoun:U missing the Point again brother, we are looking at the influence of the two in Nigeria Politics, we are looking at their Antecedents and their Now. Let us stick with the discourse . i have made my submissions , in favour of Asiwaju, it is for you to say No, Saraki is more influential and this and this are my reasons. U did agree with me that Tinubu has influence in the South west |
babytoun:U missing the Point again brother, we are looking at the influence of the two in Nigeria Politics, we are looking at their Antecedents and their Now. Let us stick with the discourse . |
U guys are missing the point, Saraki has zero influence in North Central save his home state Kwara. Let me just sight a single example.. Can saraki influence local politics in Kogi? NO.. Plateau? NO,, Benue? Capital NO, Niger? NO, Nassarawa? NO.. I don't need to ask u all if Asiwaju can influence local politics in South West. Being in a Position automatically gives u some leverage. That is what Saraki is enjoying. You want to know who is more influential, Let Saraki leave that position, where he no longer he enjoys the privileges he is having as the President of the senate, where people automatically want to pally with him for favours. If Tinubu were to be the President, and Saraki was the Senate President..i don't need to tell u the outcome. So when u making comparison have at the back of ur mind the machinery of the state available at their disposal, even at that, Tinubu has more influence |
Saao:But u also know buhari won over 60% of votes in Kano with CPC at the Presidential election..over 1.6 million votes. |
CharleyBright:Believe what he said, Asiwaju would rather create another party than join PDP. |
APC still has majority? |
APC still has majority in the house? |
LordofNaija:And Tambuwal is stronger than Wammako in Sokoto State Politics? This is no social media Politics brother. |
BishopEmmanuel:OK sir. But i will disagree on the method not being democratic..it is the most democratic process as against the delegates list method, the only challenge is whether they have a true and up to date register of their "registered members" and if such was demanded and made available to all aspirants |
I think this is better than the delegates list method, it may have it's flaws. But it is participatory. And i do think that even if APC had adopted the delegates voting method,Oyetola would have still won |
God bless u for asking my brother. And there wasn't chaos wen such was happening in the presence of different candidate' s agents?, some guys here just think everyone here are fools larride: |
Seems the competition is between oyetola, najeem and lasun. |
I have heard dis line of argument and i felt really disappointed, well let me say no more on DAT. Now let me ewxplain to u dis way..if for example in ado, APC polled 20,000 votes and PDP polled 19,999 votes. From that figure who won that local govt? APC won eventhough its with 1 vote. Its a simple majority system . no magic there[quotesquote author=respect80 post=69529822]According to the result of the Ekiti gubernatorial election as officially announced by INEC, APC was said to have won 12 out of a total of 16 Local Governments in the state leaving only 4 local governments which were won by PDP. Now check this out If PDP won just 4 LGs and APC won 12 LGs, how comes the win margin between APC and PDP is just by 19535 votes. Is it that the 4 LGs where PDP won are 3 times more populated than the ones APC won? Below is the total result as announced by INEC. APC- 197,462 winner PDP- 177,927 NB: I'm just an advocate of democracy and someone who believe in justice and fairness so no insults please, only logical analysis...[/quote] |
binajiya:U can send me a mail sir |
H despi64:I think the President himself innitiated that process, recall he met with Saraki and Dogara few days after the Plateau killings and the statement Dogara made after on the outcome of the meeting was about restructuring the security apparatus of the country.. |
Good evening sir, so how did ur interview with warehouse go, am in abuja..wish i can ave ur contact so we can chat..tnx vroom: |
Starting line up

I think Saraki made a deal, Bolaji Abdullahi is a strong loyalist of the Senate President. Saraki will most likely remain in the Party TonyeBarcanista: |
A loyalist of The Senate President, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has been returned as the APC National Publicity Secretary at the APC National Convention. He got 2002 votes to defeat his closest rival Usman Sadiq who got 243 votes

kerry57:The arrest was made may 5 and they didnt say anything about it, till the claim by the british that they believe isis is sneaking in jihadists into the country was made public..Definitely the DSS already have this intelligence report before Britain made it public... But i guess making the arrest a public knowledge is a tactical move knowing the news is in public domain already. |
The House of Representatives in a press release on the official facebook page has responded to issues raised by The President Muhammadu Buhari today while signing the 2018 appropriation bill

As much as i do understand the explanation given, but still, is it realistic dat a 30 yrs old will be senate president judging by the requirements in becoming the President or occupying the major senate leadership role such as majority leader, minority leader etc.. To hold a leadership position such as mentioned above, u must be a ranking member of the national assemblyi.e at least a 2 term senator, or in the case of Akpabio, a former governor, if we are to look at it from this angle, say the age limit is put at 30 for senate, have in mind dat i must ave been 30 before picking up nomination form,at the end of my first term i should be 34, Second term 34 and with the best of lucks and strategy i become senate president in my second term at 34, unless the President and Vp dies or vacates the office together within a year, then the Mr Ekweremadu's argument is not convincing enuf. Then again, the age of the occupant of the senate President can be amended to be 35 years, while to be a senator is put at 30. My own thinking though, may have its flaws too. |
This news is FAKE, cant u guys confirm the authenticity before pushing dis to front page...He only moved to sit with the minority and didnt say he was defecting |
kenex4ever:He is actually in the senate chamber as i type this, watching the senate proceedings live on NTA |
The Popular host of political talk show.."FOCUS NIGERIA" which airs every week day between 10am to 11am on AIT has been relieved from anchoring the show, Gbenga Arulegba made this known in a series of tweet released from his official twitter handle @gbengaaruleba..No official reason has been given for this sudden development.

Is dis not the same dino senator murray bruce told him the police tear gassed him? |
I think the argument about presidential/parliamentary dichotomy has nothing to do with the treatment of PMB vis a vis Merkel's, followers of international politics know that merkel and trump are not best of friends. And we know trump doesnt hide his displeasures. |
This topic and story is false..i watched the proceeding, the matter which was referred to the judicial comittee was to check the legality, the circumstances sorrounding the unapproved withdrawal from ECA...not for impeachment proceedings... |
Those days i used to think he owns Arsenal..Arsene..lol ednut1: |
Where is Tambuwal? No Tambuwal no Apc in sokoto. If you know you know
