Use MoniNow if you're a Salary Earner. It has the lowest interest rate in Nigeria as at today when compared with Carbon, Palmcredit, Fairzmoney etc |
Some waters have gone under the bridge. |
Interesting, he supervised the sharing of N700m without taking a kobo from it. No wonder he is a Pastor !! |

festacman:The difference is that in Kano, the mosques are built by the Government while in the south, the churches are built by establishments and not Governments. |
Access Bank has a history of exiting staff without blinking an eye. Thesame thing they did immediately they acquired intercontinental Bank. How can a Tier 1 Bank be announcing a mass sack after just one month of lockdown? Most microfinance Banks have not even sacked their staff. It is clear that the Bank had an underlying challenges that has been exacerbated by the lockdown! |
[quote author=jinka post=59394585]learn a skill - to learn a skill is not for free, you have to pay for it. relocate - as if its as easy to wake up one morning and pack your things and move to another state, without considering of feeding, accommodation and without any guarantee of a job start something no matter how small - the problem here is that there is no something to start, to even see a teaching job these days is not easy entrepreneurship - you still need money to start a business of your own no matter how small it is My Best Advice is don't return to your village after NYSC! After my NYSC in 2008, I packed my belongings and joined one of my classmate in the university who served in a city. We were both in a one room apartment, we both got a contract job in a Commercial Bank with a salary of N57,000. As Marketers, we were given humongous targets. After 2 month, he got a better job and left me in the bank. 21 Months after, the bank converted me to a full staff with better working conditions and remuneration. We both enrolled for ICAN Examinations from our NYSC savings. We both concluded our ICAN examinations in 2010. Today, I am in my 4th job to the Glory of God and he a Senior staff in organization he left the bank for. Never return to your village after NYSC, think more of Professional Examination instead of MSC. My little advice. |

Why do AMORC members insure their live's and name AMORC as the beneficiary of the insurance after their death? I know somebody who is an AMORC member, he insured his life for N50,000,000 and AMORC is the Beneficiary of the Lump Sum payment! |
Constitutionally, the resolutions of the National Assembly is merely advisory! Its not enforceable except at the discretion of the President. All the National Assembly can do is to block the budgetary allocation to the Nigeria Customs Service. Just like the 6th assembly blocked the Budgetary allocations of SEC under Jonathan when the president refused to act on the resolutions of the National Assembly to remove Often as the DG of SEC. |

Haba, the construction is still in progress even though work has reached advanced stage! I passed that road daily to and fro my office. I also passed Berger this evening at about 5.12pm on my way from work. The bridge is not 100% completed! It is even glaring from the pictures that some portion of the Bridge is yet to be covered. |
The report stated that ''700 billion out of the 2.1 trillion Liabilities for the construction of 206 road projects across the country" was paid! This could be the reason why most contractors like Julius and RCC constructing the Lagos - Ibadan expressway have returned to site after abandoning these projects since late 2014. Liabilities means they were owed to contractors for projects already executed or already partly completed! So, we shouldn't expect to see the effects of this payments immediately, because the Govt is only paying for projects completed/partly completed in the past. The only thing we should expect from this payment is that the contractors might go back to site for ongoing road construction projects, since govt has shown commitment in settling their outstanding Liabilities. |
Richy4:Am really amassed at the rate at which people use this platform to churn out lies to unsuspecting readers! Where did you school and when? ''You cannot change a course that is not within that faculty without stepping down for a year'' Is a paragraph in your post! You committed fallacy of hasty generalization because some institutions have always allowed Inter faculty transfers for several decades, yet you used your knowledge of an institutions to counsel people without indicating the name of the institution for proper guidance. Its sad! |
Richy4:This is very very very Untrue! I was admitted to the University of Benin to Study Accounting Education. After my 100 level in the faculty of Education, I transferred to Department of Accounting in the Faculty of Management Sciences, where I later graduated. I did 100 Level in Education and I resumed 200Level in the Department of Accounting in a different Faculty without loosing a session. Though the conditions for transfers were stringent, You needed to have a CGPA of at least 4.0 out of 5.0 before Accounting would accept you. Meanwhile, Education was not ready to release us because its best students all wanted to move to other faculties. 3 of us transferred from Accounting Education to Accounting, 2 transferred from Economics Education to Economics, 6 transferred from Accounting Education to Business Admin, 1 from Accounting Education to Banking and Finance. These are people I know very well. But your 100 Level result must be enticing before a more competitive Department can accept. |
MPR Means Monetary policy Rate (MPR), it is the minimum interest rate commercial banks are permitted to charge while granting credit facilities to customers. IMPLICATIONS OF INCREASE OF MPR FROM 12% TO 14%. 1. Banks will automatically increase their lending rate to customers. 2. Interest payable by commercial banks on savings account will increase from 3.6% per annum to 4.2% per annum. 3. Bank will automatically review their Fixed Deposit Rate upwards. Hope this answers the question of non economist in the house. |
