Please am confused on decision about my family application, my wife sister resides in the UK and she's advising that my wife(student) apply for visa first and once her visa is out then myself and our Kids can then apply reason been that they may want to see home ties,POF in her account has more than enough fund to cover 4 of us to apply together ,we intend applying together wifey to do priority while myself and kids do standard but not am just confused..

If she apply alone now can myself and kids use same statement of account to apply for our own once her visa is out or fund must be move to my own account and count 28 days to apply (this is what someone is telling me).

kindly advise and response is needed here....

My girlfriend has just been offered an admission at University of Chester and is being asked to pay initial deposit of £3000 however there is no info about the deadline of the deposit, pls does anyone have this info?

Cant actually give u a concrete answer on this. But Uk universities academic year starts in sept/oct so international students usually apply from july up until oct. They handle alot of student visas so they are busy and response time is quite slow. unlike other times. So most people opt for piority during that period.

Sept 2022 is still far. Most schools dont issue CAS till 3 to 4 months to resumption. And the closest u can apply for student visa is 6months to resumption

Please do your calculations with #590 per pounds. That #557 doesn't seem like the current oanda rate.

557 is actually the current rate today. Dollar has been dropping greatly hence other currencies. But to be on the safer side its always good to add at least extra incase of flunctuations

Some schools have western union platform on their website that you can use your card to pay directly with. It gives you the equivalent. The rate is ok but banks are cheaper. Western union platform is just like 10naira extra per pounds

Pls all, if you have a ONE WAY FLIGHT TICKET, ur visa and offer letter(with the normal1k,2k etc scholarship that universities give on courses), go to Zenith bank,Ikoyi and get ur $4000 PTA.

please help me im quite worried. we submitted visa application 3 days ago tier 4 with dependents (family of four).
Many years ago, marriage certificate got lost. we went to the registry where they photocopied their registry and stamped certified true copy for us. we back it up with an affidavit stating we had lost the original marriage certificate.
Its this certified true copy we submitted on visa application... On second thought we also added pictures of the registry wedding, pictures of the introduction with families , more recent pictures with kids and together.

Will this suffice as supporting document to show marriage and subsisting relationship.. or will my application just be thrown under the carpet on seeing my photocopy certified true copy marriage certificate.. Thank You please advice on what more i can do will be appreciated.

I would like to know if I can deposit about 70% of the money in my bank account where I currently reside as Proof of fund for the 28days and the remaining 30% balance in her account in NIgeria.
I want to know if this will work for CAS and the embassy.

Is it possible I get questioned or disturbed on arrival in the UK about my wife’s pregnancy status. She will be due in a week from the time we intend to travel. Is it possible they ask for the POF of the unborn baby at the airport or is it possible they ask for the POF after the delivery we would be few days after entering the UK?

The problem is if the airline will agree to take her onboard at that stage. Cant you travel earlier?
