BusinessRe: Is Importing From China Better Than Buying From Lagos? by bamasite(m): 10:17pm On Jan 03, 2016
iMerchant:
You have raised a valid point but my challenges with most people especially those who start importation business after buying ebooks from someone who never practice the business they preach is lack of basic understanding of the business.

I do not claim to be an expert but surely am not a complete idiot and I do think you can learn one or two things from my foolishness if you are willingly to learn:

1. In importation business, you don't make money when you sell you do when you buy
2. It is obvious you don't do your due diligence before buying stuff from china because if you do, you will not end up buying stuff from china at a price more expensive than Lagos.
3. You basically from your post buy on impulse which is VERY BAD for any business especially when you are into importation business. Your consumer are suppose to buy from you on impulse not the other way round.
4. Stop buying generic goods at expensive price from china.
5. The infact that someone brainwashed you into believing that goods are cheap on 1688.com and Taobao doesn't mean the person is 100% accurate. Believe me when I say you can get some stuff cheaper on Aliexpress than 1688.com
6. Sir, except you are a contractor who buy stuffs for other to resell, you should NEVER EVER use EXPRESS shipping for goods you intend to resell. As a good business person, your aim should always be to reduce your cost of doing business not increase it.
7. If you do your homework very well cheaper doesn't necessary mean better quality in China. Except you import sub-standard goods from china you need not worry about the Lagos price if you have a product with superior quality. Before you say anything, I have sold hundreds of selfie stick nationwide at 7.5k each when other people selling at 1.2k are yet to sell 50 pcs. Quality beat price anyday anytime.
8. Before you buy anything from china please go to your source market in Lagos first thereby saving yourself unnecessary headache. If it is cheaper in Lagos with the same quality like the one you are buying from china, please do yourself a favour, Buy it in Lagos.

Thanks
All you have said are on point

Nairaland GeneralWhat You Must Know About The New Year by bamasite(op): 12:29pm On Jan 02, 2016
As we bask in the euphoria of the NEW YEAR, we need to take to heart the words of Algamish: "The sun that shines today is the same that shone when thy grand father was born and will still be shining when thy last grand child shall pass into the darkness"
The chants of happy new year does not make this year new or better your life in any way. The sun will rise and set as it is accustomed.

ONLY YOUR ACTIONS (THROUGH THE GRACE OF GOD) WILL MAKE THIS YEAR A NEW AND HAPPY ONE FOR YOU! Interestingly, OUR ACTIONS CANNOT BE WISER THAN OUR THOUGHTS NEITHER CAN OUR THOUGHTS SURPASS OUR UNDERSTANDING!!

WISHING YOU ALL A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

GET NEW UNDERSTANDING THAT WILL GUIDE YOUR THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS AND MAKE YOUR YEAR A SUCCESS NOW!!!

FamilyRe: I Saw This On My Wife's Phone.....should I Be Worried? by bamasite(m):
ZeeBab:
This is the text my wife sent to her ex;

Hey, seeing u 2day gave me immeasurable joy. I was overwelmed with emotions n I fought tears as soon as I set my eyes on u. What really happened dt we cudnt fix? Am very happy in my marriage n am sure u r happy in urs too. Yet, I really can't 4get d genuine love u had for me.That love dt made u keep ur hands off me. Am very proud of u my Special sweetheart. Dts y i simply can't 4get u. U r indeed special to me.
The matter is as simple as it is complex!

1.First you should be happy that they did not have sex while they were dating. The reason is that if they had sex, and if for any reason you perform less than that guy, then you are in big soup. She will long for it and try to get it at any given opportunity. In this regard, you need to step up your game to ensure that the issue of sexual satisfaction does not arise. You must be able to pleasure her and give her mind blowing orgasms- it is your duty, responsibility and obligation! If you need help in this regard, the FEMALE ORGASM MASTERCOURSE will come to your rescue hhere.http://www.dealdey.com/deals/female-orgasm-master-course-dvd

2. Ensure you don't confront her now and don't even attempt to be angry with her: If you do this, she will try to pacify you and cover her tracks better. That way, it will be extremely difficult for you to know what she is up to. What you should do is to try and be a friend to your wife. Your wife should be so free with you that she can openly discuss anything including her feelings. This is not so easy but with practice, she will get to trust you. UNDERSTANDING & EMPATHY WILL COME TO YOUR RESCUE HERE. When she speaks to you, listenly attentively, don't interrupt her, knod your head, use interjections( e.g waao! Awww, you mean it?, like seriously, tell me more, this is interesting, etc) where necessary to show you are enthralled in her story ( you have to be so I should not even mention feigning attentiveness). Don't be so quick to rebuke her. Encourage her to confide in you, thank her when she does and then you can have a good opportunity to address the issue: telling her the consequences and using relevant examples.

3. Show more love to your wife
This is the bitter truth: your wife definitely misses one or more things about her ex. Things he does which you don't or qualities which he possess but are lacking in you! It can surprise you that she said she is happy with her marriage just to hear what the guy will say ( it is possible though am not saying that for sure, that she only said she is happy in her marriage so that it does not seem that she is really sad about her marriage and wants him back desperately).
It is your duty to love your wife. Love can be expressed in many ways that we often overlook. It can be spending some time with her in the kitchen gisting as she prepares the meal, it can be helping in some house chores, it can be more time to listen to her, can be your interest in her career and professional development, it can be taking her out to the places she love, it can be more interest in her dress sense and grooming, it can be more shopping time together, it can be how much time you really spend in quality pre-intimacy, and for sure most women will appreciate a man that takes time to perform cunnilingus on them and does it well!
Make a honest analysis and improve in any area that needs improvement. Encourage her to SAY WHAT SHE MEAN AND MEAN WHAT SHE SAYS!

This does not guarantee that she will not mess up, but it will surely help you such that if she does, then your conscience will Be free that you did your best!

Good morning Nairalanders!!
Happy last day of the month and happy last day of the year too! God is always a good God for it is he alone that brought us this far.

For some days now, two posts on my Facebook page got many hundreds of people(from analytics) and I thought I should share here two. Though they were posted on different dates on my Facebook page, but I will post them together here.

Try to get the meaning of each. Happy 2016 friends!!

1. As we approach the end of 2015, and 2016 approaches so fast, always remember this in all you do:
"WHATEVER IS WORTH WORKING FOR, IS WORTH PRAYING FOR"
Happy Sunday Friends......

2. One important question we need to ask ourselves is this: IF I CONTINUE TO LIVE MY LIFE THE WAY AM LIVING IT NOW, WHERE WILL I BE IN THE NEXT FIVE(5) YEARS, THEN NEXT TEN(10) YEARS? This question demands a HONEST and VERY CAREFUL ANALYSIS. Let me do mine again!

20 goals in the championship now 14 goals in the EPL.He did pretty well in the preseason too.2 goals for the S.E in 5 appearances.2015 has been a remarkable here for Ighalo.
I hope he replicates that form in 2016.
Sia1,i hope u invite Ighalo for Rio 2016 Olympics.
I love that description @ REDHOT
I hope and pray for him too. Even if all the money goes to him, he is still green white green and a prove that your background should never keep your back on the ground!

Like the issue with Mikel, the guy is comfortable with the pay at Chelsea so whether he plays or not is not important to him provided the cash is coming.

Yesterday, I Was happy for him(Mikel); he saw 90minutes of action

I WANT TO BELIEVE WE HAVE MANY EDUCATED PEOPLE HERE!!!!!!

Am not out to defend anybody neither am I affiliated to any political party. But the truth is that BOKO HARAM WILL DEFINITELY WANT TO PROVE A POINT BY STAGING A MAJOR ATTACK. The essence is to instill fear in the minds of people and make them(people) lack confidence in the military. IF YOU WERE THE BOKO HARAM, YOU WILL DO SAME.

Boko Haram cannot stand allowing it seem that they have lost the war. The military high command was with the troops during the Yuletide celebrations. Don't also forget that BOKO HARAM HAS MANY SUPPORT GROUPS THAT CAN EASILY INFILTRATE AND JOIN THEM TO CARRY OUT A MAJOR ATTACK. Imagine the wide protest in US,Canada, Iran, etc over the Shiite issue! The Jihadists in neighbouring countroes must have come in to help their brothers score a point (and secure their own virgins in the process ;DD)

THE WORST PART OF THE ISSUE IS THAT WE SEEM TO HAVE THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE HERE SO GLAD TO SEE NIGERIA FAIL!!! HOW DO WE EXPLAIN THAT? ARE YOU AFFECTED IN NO WAY BY THE FAILURE OF THE COUNTRY AND THE SYSTEM? WHAT DO YOU GAIN WHEN THE SYSTEM FAILS? such anticipation for failure I dare say, is a reflection of failure in your personal lives.....You have already given up on yourself. You have nothing worthwhile to live for........ We should pray and most importantly be the change we want to see.........As Michael Jackson will say: IF WE WANT TO MAKE THIS COUNTRY A BETTER PLACE,LET US START WITH THE MAN IN THE MIRROR

I Will keep this extremely brief. As we get into the yuletide, there are many scammers that will make you offers promising to help you make all that you could not make from January to November in just 5days!!!!!!

It still baffles me how some educated people fall for some very cheap scams! Before you go for that killer offer, take a second look at this advise from Arkad who happens to be the richest man in Babylon:

As we close in on the yuletide, reemember this:Insure an income for thy future. Look thou at the aged and forget not that in the days to come, thou also will be numbered among them. Therefore invest thy treasures with greatest caution that it be not lost. USURIOUS RATES OF RETURN ARE DECEITFUL SIRENS THAT SING BUT TO LURE THE UNWARY ON THE ROCKS OF LOSS AND REMORSE!

Thank God is Friday!

Dear nairalanders, we trust you are going great.
Today we decided to discuss about an issue that many will want to shy away from in public domain but still has to do with your success! Yes. Sex is a big topic, sex sells but even most importantly, SEX IS ONE OF THE GREATEST DRIVING FORCES KNOWN TO MAN. Time and space will not let me emphasize all about this right now. To fully understand this, I refer you to Napoleon Hill's classic think and grow rich (chapter 11 entitled the mystery of sex transmutation).

The fact that for a long time sex has remained a topic about which many are shy (in fact, a topic on sex to many makes you a spoilt person and to others it is a complete taboo), has left little truth on the table. Parents don't tell young teenagers all they need to know (as if most of the parents knew any better), the sex education system in schools is definitely not adequate. Many are now left to guess, gather fluffs from friends and garbage from the Internet as well as mass media. Gratefully, we now have a paradigm shift where materials are plentiful from experts some of whom have spent 20 to as much as 50years doing research on the subject matter. New information is now available and it is slowly becoming acceptable to discuss the topic of sex among enlightened people.

However, being a topic that is just recently gaining acceptance, much fluff is still out there as many still confuse the scripted porn movies with actual sex education. I was shocked when in a discussion with an adult female friend, I discovered that she has only seen squirting from porn movies and was hearing the word gspot for the first time! Shocking right? But that is the truth. There are so many women out there who know little about their own body! Then comes the next big problem:

Many men have not taken the time to fully study and understand the woman's system so as to figure out the differences therein between a man's pathway to orgasm in sex and a woman's pathway to orgasm. Truth is stroking and deeply thrusting, banging harder and harder are not the answer!! Melinda Holmes, author of blow her mind his illustrated guide to MouthAction, puts it this waysadcheck the attached picture)

So the question comes again: How much do you know about the woman's body system? As a woman, do you fully understand your own body enough to fully enjoy the full pleasures within your body? In the next series of articles, we will be discussing the gspot, clit, squirting and orgasms. Until then, drop your questions and comments below let us talk!
The topic is getting hot here: http://successsecrets01..com.ng/2015/12/how-much-do-you-know-about.html

Nairaland GeneralYou Must Act Now! Part1 by bamasite(op): 6:04am On Oct 26, 2015
I will act now

My dreams are worthless, my plans are dust, my goals are impossible. All are of no value unless they are followed by action. I will act now. Never has there been a map, however carefully executed to detail and scale, which carried its owner over even one inch of ground. Never has there been a parchment of law, however fair, which prevented one crime. Never has there been a scroll, even such as the one I hold, which earned so much as a penny or produced a single word of acclamation. Action, alone, is the tinder which ignites the map, the parchment, this scroll, my dreams, my plans, my goals, into a living force. Action is the food and drink which will nourish my success.

I will action now.

My procrastination which has held me back was born of fear and now I recognize this secret mined from the depths of courageous hearts. Now I know that to conquer fear I must always act without hesitation and the flutters in my heart will vanish. Now I know that action reduces the lion of terror to an ant of equanimity.
I will act now.

Henceforth, I will remember the lesson of the firefly who gives off its light only when it is on the wing, only when it is in action. I will become a firefly and even in the day my glow will be seen in spite of the sun. Let others be as butterflies who preen their wings yet depend on the charity of a flower for life. I will be as the firefly and my light will brighten the world.
I will act now.

I will not avoid the tasks of today and charge them to tomorrow for I know that tomorrow never comes. Let me act now even though my actions may not bring happiness or success for it is better to act and fail than not to act and flounder.

Drop your comments as we get on to a bright start this new week. Happy new week friends.

He concluded that the most important single attribute of people who achieved great success in life was “long time perspective.” Banfield defined “time perspective” as “the amount of time an individual takes into consideration when determining his present actions.” In other words, the most successful people are long-term thinkers. They look into the future as far as they can to determine the kind of people they want to become and the goals they want to achieve. They then come back to the present and determine the things that they will have to do—or not do—to achieve their desired futures.
