That the way some customers behave

I wish you are in Akure.

Do you send the products to the Delivery company before any customer order for it? Or it is when someone order for it that you will send it to them?

Also, you know some people will say they want to see the product before they pay, does the delivery company help to collect money from buyers?

Thanks.
I do send to delivery company sometimes but it depend on states like Abuja, Lagos, Porthacourt and delta

Because those states purchase goods very well
Did you stay in Akure?

Out of 10 customers there will be 1 or 2 that are not serious which is sure just ignore customer that are not ready for the product so that you won't waste money on transport

You do that on your own
Starring with 20k is very very small
Try and increase your money to 50k firstly do that you won't waste all the money on advert

Okay, thank you very much for this.

What will you advice someone's that is just starting out and has no distributors and can't pay for distribution company. Will concentrating on just one state be profitable? (the state is not Lagos).

Does payment before delivery world's well?

Do you have any product you can suggest to a newbie that is just about to start?

I'm sorry for asking too much questions, I wish to start this business before this month ends. I've been procrastinating and looking for the right time for long and that doesn't seem to work.

Thank you sir.
There are many products out there
Just search for product that solve people problems
OR
Products that make people do lesser work than before

For example vibro action, vitamin c and many more

I don't advise u paying delivery company
Kindly go to Instagram search for any state logistics for example you need delivery company in Abuja go to Instagram and search (ABUJA DELIVERY) many page will pop up message them and ask how much they charge for pick up and delivery in their state when u see one save their Whatsapp number and send it to then
It easy like that
Some charge 1k but for North
My delivery agent in kano charge 400
My delivery agent in Jos charge 500
But Abuja charge 1k
My delivery agent in Porthacourt charge 800 and many more

I search all of them on Instagram and message them

lol, you are absolutely correct.

Nigeria is a consumer society and we don't produce anything. The eCommerce game is here to stay for a very long time.

I strictly use 1688, i no fit shout, lol.

I imported a particular product for less than $2 and sold it here in Nigeria for 10k inclusive of free deliver to customers doorstep.

GIGL is quite expensive no doubt about that but they're efficient and helps boost my brand. They receive payment on your behalf and charge a fee though.

However I think I'd look into using local courier services so as to save cost on deliveries because its really eating deep into my profit.

Are you in Lagos ? We can work on a whatsapp / telegram dropshipping store that will fetch money daily.
Please bro when selling baby products
What type of audience can I target

Na God oo. I no plan this thing but I wanted to prove some doubting thomases wrong when I told them what is possible with eCommerce. What they don't realise is that people WILL ALWAYS BUY things, no matter what. It is your job to put your tray so that you can collect their money.

if you are using God Is Good, do they collect money on your behalf from buyers? Last time I tried to use them, I discovered they are expensive. So what I usually do is use other unknown transport vehicles heading to, say, the North. My agent there will collect it from them and distribute for me.

For the exchange rate, I have decided that I will get card at all my banks, as long as they still allow $100. I don't mind opening extra bank accounts at each of them so that I can get 2 cards per bank, while using some friend's card too.

On Alibaba, I will tell seller to split payment. If I am paying $500-$1000, I will go $100 each until I complete the payment and seller will send me the package as whole.

I could repeat same process for Facebook ads by pausing the ads before it exceed max $100 limit, Pay and continue using it.
Nice one bro
What about us that buy from 1688
And secondly please attend to the issue if my Facebook ads please
OR we create a WhatsApp group

BusinessRe: What Can One Do To Convince Customers To Pay Before Delivery by bamidele89: 11:23pm On Aug 30, 2020
Pay on Delivery in Nigerian is really something else
To the OP
Add your delivery fee to the goods u are selling and let the customers know that you are doing free shipping
Go to Instagram and search for delivery/logistics with cheap rate and use them
That all

Whenever I have goods to deliver in kano
I use a woman I saw on Instagram she deliver 400naira per delivery for me

Nigeria grin
They will just think it easy like that
Have been into importation for some months
The key of the business is that if u don't have enough money u won't win big
Don't mind those saying u can start with 20k ooo

Prepare your mind for 100k above spare some for Facebook ads and the remaining for advert even logistics self can frustrate you many times but I don't relent because one day will be my winning day

Got a message that I've been shortlisted for the company interview. They dropped the address. I couldn't even remember which of my numerous applications was inviting me.

Spent the entire remaining days reading hard, starched my shirt, ironed, wore tie, prayed and fasted, abstained from sin, bind my entire villagers.

Only to get there and saw my haggard looking "interviewers" claiming they have millions. Congratulating me on getting the job before finally confessing that they're just GNLD.

I immediately off my tie and hid it in my envelop.
