I am quite curious. Anytime there is a vandalised transformer or electrical system, the next thing we hear is that NEPA is asking for community to buy the equipment.
This is very common in Ilorin with somewhere around Agba dam having a similar issue right now.
I believe the transformer is the property of IBEDC and a means of income generation for them so why will the community pay for it when damaged.
I can imagine a bank asking people to pay for a damaged ATM or building.
Please I believe DISCOs can do better especially IBEDC in Ilorin. Sadly we have one of the worst power supplies in Nigeria.

This matter should be handled in America where there is the judge and the jury.......

There will definitely be oppositions inside this contraption.

Thank you for this summary. It is not by escaping to the abroad. We need fix personal discipline issues in Nigeria. Same Nigerians are found to follow all rules when abroad but come home to fight enforcers with plenty English.
We need work on doing the right things especially because we are all enlightened and knw what is right. That also includes avoiding corruption, let those our uncles and aunties in govt do the right thing for the good of everyone. They wil rather embezzled,send their families abroad and come to blame "govt" for any misfortune.

I've always opined that children in lower primary school should not do more than 5 or six subjects. Most of the things they teach them are really not necessary at their age. However, you see all these private schools, madness dey their heads.
How can a child of 4 - 7 years be doing up to 15 subjects?
I don't know if that is how it is done in other countries...
