Romance › Re: Sorry Ladies.... But 99% Of U Are Sex Objects. by Bamz(m): 3:35pm On Apr 13, 2016 |
ZeeAfrica: The way u guys always generalise as well, when u bash woman. Gosh what the hell is 99% after all. Look I am tired of some ladies here who keep saying they fall under the 1% of good girls, and some guys also saying that their sisters fall under that too. Who r they fooling? just because it's your relative, u wana give them a good name, and girls, y must u try to impress these dudes by saying u fall under the good 1%? Look we are all woman at the end of the day, and we should stand together and stop letting these men put us down. If these men would be brought minded it would help, and stop putting naija girls down. Gosh one would swear yal r saints or something. Sisters lets work hard and be independent, lets respect our selves more and always say no to these men all over this country, since they think we r trash, lets also go get some foreign sugar and see who they'll be dissing Hun, People will always air their views whether you agree with it or not. Views are usually formed from the owners perspective and experience, and in the end it's usually subjective. If all the girls I've come across in my life are those mostly materialistic, the way I'd advise my younger ones would be different from the way someone who did not have my experience would. Can Nigerian men stop thinking most girls are after their material things? Do Nigerian girls think all men are after sex? These questions would be answered differently by each individual based on background and experience like I formerly said. But there's something you can do, be the best version of yourself. Be the Nigerian girl that's virtuous and knows her worth. Being virtuous covers all aspects of behavioural inclination including speech too. And this applies to the men as well. |

I knw a lot of woman who knw who dey r, and r non of wat nairaland men see to think womanhood means. U guys r just boring, plain and simple I hope now that you realize that you're generalizing |

Amefrica: Lol it's true, but I actually don't care - that's their problem! I'm done with my final exams, so I'm gonna be working full time now for the summer! There are a lot of jobs you can take as a full time student.
Some students work at MacDonalds, Tim Hortons, Wendy's, at the shopping malls etc. I and few other students I know work as a customer care agent for Rogers/Fido. I know like 2-3 people who work for an insurance and credit card company! Telcos like you mentioned won't be a bad idea... I was thinking you're finally through with studies oh |

Amefrica: Aha well, where I am - there are not much black people not to talk of Nigerians. So the only community I know about is the one on campus, but not many people gives a hoot about it! Nigerians here, especially the girls are so damn proud! Haha I've been hearing this thing about them girls but I'll be keeping an open mind nonetheless, LOL. Since you're done with your finals? What next? Could you give us idea of part time jobs off campus and on campus one can do? Will technology jobs be common as part time too? |

Amefrica: Of course, Canada is a dream country, and you shall get here too soon, by God's grace. My exams went quite alright, though exhausting. I do not know a whole lot about Halifax, but I go there every now and then. I know a couple people going to Dalhousie, and Halifax is a great and very lively city. You would not regret it if that's your destination. On some weekends, my friends and I drive down there to club and stuff. lively was the opposite of what I had in mind. How's the Nigerian community there? I know Indians are taking over LOL. And it's like the technology jobs are more in Alberta than in Halifax from what I've been seeing on another forum. |

I just finished my finals, so I should be coming on here every now and then. Thanks homie! Aww that's great. I know right, back then I used to be very passive, going to Canny seemed like a tall dream, but we'd get there, amen. Hope your exams went well. How much of Halifax do you know? |

MadCow1: As much as I dislike Jonathan and wish I an catch him slipping without his SSS Bodyguard so I can beat the Bayelsa ogogoro out of him, I will not support his being arrested.
Jonathan may be a dullard but he is still a Niger Deltan and we must still protect our own.
No be am start the thiefing.
They should just collect as much money as they can from him and let him live out the rest of his life peacefully while reflecting on how he failed the Niger Delta. In simple English, he's a Niger Deltan so give him soft landing even if found guilty. I get you. |

BLWeb: This is why this country will not move ahead. Ethnicity is very deep in our system. It is no more about finding out the truth about the endemic corruption under the past administration, it is now about "Even if he is guilty don't touch him because he is Ijaw". This is very pitiable. And some of the people in question are well educated. |

sholay2011: I totally agree with this. There is no financial bliss like getting funded, except your parents are very wealthy. The working and studying stuff isn't as easy as it sounds, especially if you are doing course work, even as a graduate student.
All glory to God, I am just looking for my first summer job now, and not because of the pressure of trying to pay rent, but to garner relevant experience.
It is well. Wow good for you, but some people can't really help but work considering their financial situation. I'd like a situation of going through my first 6 months without working just to weight things out for my myself. |

I thought the forex issue majorly affects those who are yet to travel. I am beginning to wonder how one gets to receive money when most schools require that funding for off-campus and personal expenses be sent directly to the student, and not through any kind of official student account. For those travelling very soon, is PTA still available? |

tolumuntari: Was any one asked to pay $100 for department resource fee? also is the admission lettr same as the letter of recommendation from the depart to Graduate program? Got this from Usask. please reply The Faculty of Graduate Studies reviews recommendations for admission from the department and it is their decision which is final. If you fulfill all requirements, you will get a formal letter of admission for use with Canadian Immigration. In some cases like mine, you'll need to formally acknowledge the letter of admission via payment of a tuition deposit to get an official acceptance letter. Boss Jengbetiele, I hope this is accurate tolumuntari, please clarify what the $100 is meant for. Most schools accept that fee prior/during the admission application. |
