Thank you

aishate:
Hi all. Please can someone tell me what is a bank draft in convertible currency and how i can get one. Thanks

On a high level, you get a dorm account, get Fx in it, and request for a bank draft for some specified amount. When you reach your destination, you'll have to open a bank account and tender the bank draft for account crediting.

Bit similar to PTA

To God be the glory,I got my documents today and it is well with my soul.I was denial after 14wks plus on this
1-Travel history
2- family ties in Canada and home country
3- Purpose of visit.
Thank you all for your help and I will still need help on how to tackle this reasons please.
Will list the documents I send.

Hi there, I was just going through your posts. You seemed to have compiled a good application. Your app package would be similar to mine except that I would use only my employer.

You did not submit declaration of sponsorship from your employer.(financial issues were not ticked so maybe it's okay)

Did you prove the relationship with your husband and uncle properly?

Did your SOP clearly state your program and it's duration, and is it a progressive move considering your academic background and/or industrial experience?

What do personally feel you could have done differently considering the points they marked out. Number 1 is usually just thrown in there.

bjmme:
two passports and your international passport, that is what the guy in ikoyi said.

Any regular passport photographs would do I assume, and not the one used at the Visa Processing

moufpeas:
I did mine at alagbon for 5500 but it's negotiable tho....but I doubt if they will take anything less than 5k but make sure u dont pay more than 6k tho..

Kindly tell me the requirements for getting the PCC.

Graviton2:
A declaration of sponsorship will suffice.

Be sure to have it signed and stamped by said sponsor. Also, have the sponsor state clearly how much he/she is willing to give you annually.

Much obliged. Thanks a lot.

And about the PCC, must someone be physically present? I know there's a form that needs to be thumb printed on or so, could I just fill that and have a proxy complete it the processing at Alagbon?

folks4luv:
u know what I expected from APC n presidency? take up d issues raised in Fayose's letter n oppose them, but no, all I am seeing are attacks on d man's personality, that is going low only people with shallow logics n thoughts will follow them down that part.
the best way to discredit Fayose is to address d issue he raised, these attacks on him will only make him more popular.

Smartest comment I've read in a while. Separate the issues from the people. Spot on.

ATK4Joy:
Truth be told indeed! Hmmmm

Hi Joy

Bamz:
thesoj is one phenomenom too.... these guys are just selfless.

Hello Mr. thesoj, I just sent you a pm.

I have this 1-page SOP, that just needs to be checked for completeness.

Thank you

Avalon316:
Hi guys, please can I use a 3 weeks old statement of account?

Thanks

I read somewhere that anything within a month is permissible. Do well to verify.

donbenedict:

Fadekebisola:
Olajumoke still looks ugly...make she upgrade abeg...nice one to her though

Why are you so sad?

Jlakeside:
Thanks boss..

One more thing pls.. I asked a question earlier, seems people are on high tempo to answer..How should i fill the Tuition, room &board and others please.. Check the pix on the previous post ..thanks

So if basically you have tuition and maintenance costs to be 10k per year (20k for two years assuming a 2 year course)

Your total funds available should exceed the 20k by some odd thousand say 21.5k, and there should be some money left in the account assuming you're not self-sponsored.

Jlakeside:
Bamz baba!.. Pls kindly send the link to download the vfs consent form. I wanna apply through paper.. I didn't see that on the CIC website..

Also, The family information form on CIC website is outdated I think (2010).. Should fill it like that cos I don't know the link to the new one?. Kindly help Oga Mi!

http://www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/Nigeria/how_to_apply.html

Well for the Family Info Form, that's from the official source unless, you want to create an updated one yourself. :p

Graviton2:
Schedule 1 isn't compulsory.

That said, I'd strongly suggest you fill it and attach it with your application all the same.

I filled it during my application.

LOL thanks. What of the VFS consent form?

BTW I'm using declaration of sponsorship (instead of affidavit of sponsorship)... what are your views?

PS. I'm being sponsored by my employer

EEZe:
this man must have being suffering from low sparm count

Lol you're suffering from something too, but I can categorically tell you it's not sparm count. That's all

flyca:
Pls they should build escalator enabled bridges. Sometimes, after work, no energy to climb up and down. Onipanu bridge is especially tasking

Haha I've always climbed the Ojota bridge since time immemorial smoothly a without hassle....yesterday however LOL it was a like a narrow passage of heaven.

Attn: intending Paper Routers...
so I've been read somewhere that Schedule 1 form is compulsory but as per the CIC site, the only mandatory CIC forms necessary are what's listed below for our region. Your views, guys.

cc: skymorbabs, bamjay, metrecube, Graviton2, justwise

I assume the VFS consent form on http://www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/Nigeria/how_to_apply.html is compulsory. Can anyone confirm this?

Regards

Nyesom Wike is working......Buhari is travelling

I was going to ignore your post but then again I'd be disappointed if you read the article, and went on to post this.

I'm no pro-anyone. I just want good governance.

I was going to say my mind about the issue of discussing cheats... if Nairaland could censor quite a number of things on here, sharing of cheats doesn't sound right.

Well some of us do work in Telcos, and it's only a matter of time before the cheats get blocked.

But now that I'm "free" a little, perhaps I could be able to skim through it. Could you please resend it, and I promise to check it earliest. I'm so sorry again brudda!
