timiekay: I got a mail from Dalhousie University today that my application for M.Eng has gotten a positive review but I need to provide a proof of funding on/or before May 2, 2016 to finalise my admission. While working on that, who can help me with information on available scholarships over there?
Please help a friend. If you're applying to Internetworking, there's in house scholarship as per your academic performance in the course of your studies.i don't know of any entrance scholarship. |

emma4eva: my plan was just to use the school admission to get trv first cuz other schools were closed for fall semester, I intend applying to other schools later on, may have to forfeit the admission and close my mind for fall semester. Alright it's clear to me. Your plan is still valid since you'll end up applying to other schools but your timeline will have to adjust. It's not smart to waste 150k on a school you won't attend. |

emma4eva: Finally got admission offer from ryerson University but I have being asked to pay a deposit of 1k to reserve my seat before july, I wouldn't be able to make the payment before the deadline, how will it affect my visa application. Hi Emma4eva, Like someone earlier said, July is a long way out. What's your plan really? It's a finish to start process bro. Finalize admission process, and start Visa processing. Plainly put you can't start Visa processing till you finalize your admission. |

Bleuocean: who knows a bank that can handle form A applications promptly for school fees payment abroad? Best to start the process and carry your school along about your progress. Worst that could happen is a deferral if you're under a deadline or you could have someone wire the money through a dorm account directly to the school. |

Fhemmmy: 1,000 per month? That is really terrible . . . Thank you so much for the information. This monthly limit just messed me up today as I was trying to pay my graduate deposit. A platinum MasterCard or Dollar MasterCard wouldn't pose these issues.

Please I need urgent response as that is what is delaying me frm applying for TRV for now Nadia94: the total amount You have that will cover both your tuition and apartment and to sustain you during ur stay for one year i thnk.. freezingus: Please, some one should help me with how I can book a flight to Halifax From akanni, for your flight, try google flight to get the lowest price, then proceed to the specific airline. Also, compare with wakanow.com, bt-store and worldtravelandtours Flights can do Lagos-London-Halifax, Lagos-US-Toronto-Halifax, Lagos-Amsterdam-Toronto-Halifax. From Amefrica, You'll need a transit VISA to go through the US oo. From TheBae, I flew United, Lagos-Houston-Toronto-Halifax. It was pretty okay, nothing spectacular. They mice milk -_-. But the flights were pretty smooth except that my Houston-Toronto flight got delayed for an hour which affected my other flight to Halifax. |

jaybmich: There's still open admission in department of public policy, but the problem is, it is same skool that denied me admission. Saskatchewan... What do you think? We both know some courses are more competitive than others. All the same I can't emphasize early application enough. You should give it a shot while you still can. Your SOP is the only thing you could be subjectively judged on, so give them a mind-blowing one. U of Alberta at a point requested a mini capstone project from me prior to application submission but they said it was optional and I still went ahead to submit one. The point is for you to satisfy all possible requirements as applicable. |

jaybmich: I have CGPA of 3.63/5, MA Political Science, though that's not what I studied in my undergrad.. I have BA History % International Studies which is a cognate degree to Pol Sc....Just the Nysc working experience which is a year... Applications for January 2017 should be your priority if you can't find any school with late deadline and you should focus more on writing a (more) superb SOP. |

jaybmich: I applied last year October tho, if I get in touch with one of their staff, won't he/or she still tell me about being eligible and no admission guarantee blah blah? Thanks for the message! I'm sorry about that though. I only gave you advice from experience. It also helps to have had some professional experience in the intended course of study as well, if ones GPA isn't that okay. I understand that you feel the school might give a subjective evaluation. In my case, I had a discussion with one of the departmental past students (who happened to be the course rep), sent him my CV, and we analysed two courses, he told me which I'll have a better chance of getting and etc. What course are you applying for? Is your GP below 2.1? Do you have prior working experience? |
